*feels like he is going to throw up*
Let's get this back on track.
It really goes back to what you feel about tipping workers in general. I would say that to blatantly tease their tip to get special attention and then not to give a tip is pretty crummy. In the end, even strippers are just people trying to make a living, just like a waitress or delivery boy.
Yeah, all 3 fo them make minimum wage working hourly jobs too. So why the fuck should I have to pay them more? You know, when I worked at a video store, (most) people didn't tip me when I suggested a movie, or told them what movie they were trying to think of but couldn't.
When I worked at a gas station (most) people didn't tip me for pointing them out to a selective area of the store they couldn't easily find by walking around.
So I ask, how is it crummy? Stippers, much like Delivery Boys and Hostesses are all beggers in my opinion. Lets run down the options.
Delivery People: They bring you food, not because they wanted to, but rather because it was there job to do so. They get paid an hourly wage for it. Just because the wasted NO gas of their own, to drive to my house and bring me food, that means "I" should give them "x" amount of money for doing so? Why?
Hostesses: They bring you food, not because they wanted to, but rather because it was there job to do so. They get paid an hourly wage for it. Just because I order something big, and they have to carry more plates to my table, or because I drink a lot, and they have to refill my glass more than normal, that doesn't mean "I" should feel obligated to pay them extra. I'm not their boss, do I look like I owe anyone a raise? Fuck that.
In the end, I leave $5.00 for waitresses or waiters, unless their service was absolutely shitty. I tip Pizza guys $3.00 because there truly isn't a need to give them anymore, if even that. They sit on their ass, get out and deliver a pizza. I know, I used to do it.
So, in the end, Strippers are doing their job, via dancing and entertaining me. I shouldn't feel pressured to pay them for doing so.
