My school offers Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, French, and probably a handful of other languages that I'm forgetting, but they only offer AMERICAN Sign Language. Doesn't that seem like it shouldn't count as a foreign language requirement?

Sign language varies from country to country and even regionally across the United States. I know it isn't a foreign language, but it is usually offered as an alternative. I took it for four years, it's cool to know.
