The two men stare each other down. Undertaker's face shows no fear, or emotion. He is still standing in his corner. Sting stands tall, again showing no sign of any feelings. They walk towards each other, slowly but surely. Taker lifts his left hand. Sting goes to match him, but boots him in the Gut. He puts Taker in a headlock and follows it up with a couple of punches to the head. As he releases Taker, he bounces off the ropes and follows it up with a Clothesline, dropping Taker to the floor. Undertaker gets up onto his feet, and Sting tries for another Clothesline, but Taker ducks it. He spins Sting round and punches him twice in the head. He lifts up Sting by the throat and goes for an early Chokeslam, slamming Sting into the center of the Ring. He goes for a pin, but gets 1 to no avail. Take rises, looking pissed and Sting lifts himself up off the Canvas. He runs towards Taker, but Taker spins him round, Irish Whipping him over the Top Rope. Sting falls to the floor, and Taker does his Cuthroat signal. He runs towards the rope and flies over the top, doing his classic Wrestlemania Suicide Dive. The crowd go crazy for Taker as he lands on Sting, crashing down to the mat outside. A minute or so later, both man have just about made it to their feet. Taker is using the barricade to help himself up, with multiple fans tapping him on the back, cheering him on.
The men make it towards each other and grapple, Sting getting the upper hand with a forearm to the back. He rolls Taker into the ring, and follows. He picks him up and Irish Whips him into the Turnbuckle. Sting charges towards, ready to hit a Stinger Splash, but Taker rolls and avoids it, Sting landing on the Ropes. As he turns round, Taker lifts him up, hitting the Snake Eyes on the Top Rope. Sting is staggering and Taker bounces off the Ropes, hitting Sting with a Big Boot to the face. He tries for a pin, the Ref counts 2 and Sting kicks out. Taker looks unhappy as he thought he had the match won. When Taker stands up, Sting grabs his leg and Taker goes crashing face first into the Mat. Sting lifts himself up and turns it into the Scorpion Deathlock. One half of the crowd cheers while the other half boo, but Sting is smiling on his face, shouting out to the crowd. The look on Takers face shows him wincing in immense pain, trying to break free. He refuses and refuses to tap, eventually making it to the ropes to break the hold. As soon as Sting lets go, Taker brings his leg up, holding it. Sting walks over to the opposite Turnbuckle, to rest. Eventually, with large help from the ropes, Taker manages to stand up. Sting, before Taker even has a chance to move, runs right towards him and hits him with a furious Stinger Splash. The crowd go crazy yet again, and Taker falls to the mat. He goes down for a Pin, but to the shock of every single person in the Arena, Taker kicks out at 2.
Sting stands up, staring at Taker. The look on his face tells that he cannot believe the pin was kicked out of. All Sting does is stare, as Taker does his signature Kip-Up, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Once Taker stands up, Sting throws a punch, it hits Taker square in the face and he returns it. There's a few back and forth punches, until Taker gets the upper hand, punching Sting and backing him into a corner. Sting slumps against the Turnbuckle. Taker puts him up on the Top Rope and delivers a HUGE Superplex from the Ropes into the middle of the Ring. He immediately goes for a Pin, but again, only gets 2. The crowd are shocked, and so is he. He lifts up Sting, who low blows Taker. Taker falls to his knees, and Sting delivers a boot to the face, dropping Taker. Again, a pin attempt, which fails at 2. Sting doesn't know what to do anymore, so he lifts up Taker, going for a Scorpion Death Drop. Taker, however, hits Sting in the gut, lifts him up, into a Last Ride. Sting crashes down into the center of the Ring and Taker jumps right into the Pin. The crowd believe it's a sure win, but Sting just manages to kick out, at 2 & 3/4. Taker waits for Sting this time, so he can have some breathing space. Once Sting arises, Taker approaches him. He goes for a Chokeslam again, but as he is lifted, Sting kicks him, with Taker dropping him out of it. Sting moves over to the Turnbuckle, going for a jump. He leaps towards Undertaker, who catches him in mid-air. He flips Sting upside down, and delivers a killer Tombstone Piledriver. He drops down for the Pin, the ref counts a 1, 2, 3 & the match is over. The Undertaker completes this by posing in his signature style and the crowd go wild.
