Sorry if this annoys anyone, just watching some you tube videos on jackson and just felt like sharing this. I just watched his just is it dvd again and watched alot of the dvd extras as well and its amazing what this guy was going to do. I watched one dvd extra and all of the concerts were going to sell out and there where so many more orders for tickets that they talked mj into doing more concerts and he said he would in two conditions. one...they would buy him a house in the country so he could live there wile he does the concerts and 2. have the genis world record people there ready to track on how many sold of concerts you could do in a row.
RIP MJ

It's funny. I work in NYC and every day when I walk to work I pass 7th avenue. Before Michael Jackson died, it seemed as no one cared about him, it was almost taboo to mention his name. However, literally the Monday morning after he died, there was a beautifully done graffiti art done of him on some wood that was being used to protect construction work. He was an amazing entertainer, a genius even. However, unfortunately, it is his personal life that will always polarize the world's opinions. He may have been screwed up, but in my opinion he is one of the greatest entertainers of all time and there is no arguing that.

You know who I miss? This man:

Billy Mays does have one of the most tightly groomed beards i have ever seen, that is something every man should strive for

No, it's just that Michael Jackson has had enough recognition in his death. Come on, they had the Today Show special Remembering Michael Jackson go on for like two weeks. It's been how long? One and a half years? Come on. He wasn't doing anything when he dies except preparing for his european concert and being a national punchline.

If he wasn't dead, the pedophile "jokes" would still be rolling in by the truckload.

Honestly do I miss him? Not really. The dude barely was seen or heard from for years anyways aside from some other sexual allegation.

Yeah it's a great loss but his last few years were nothing special.

I love Michael Jackson and I miss the thought that he might have made a come back or done another album.

But Fuel, Jackson is gone, but he'll never be forgotten. I don't mean that we'll remember him. We obviously will, I mean we see his work everyday in so many artists. Usher, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Justin Beiber, Jason Duerulo, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, and I could go on and on. Point is, without Jackson, you could say bye to everyone of these artists.

So he's gone, but see his influence everyday.

RIP MJ.

Boo fucking hoo, Cobain killed himself. Good.

And I'm pretty sure a retirement tour by the greatest pop artist of all time that had every date sold out was kind of a big deal. And he was still definitely very much in the public eye up to his death. And the pedo jokes are still very much going.

I miss Major Winters from Band of Brothers a lot more. I never cared for Michael Jackson's music, and Cobain was dead before I even realized Nirvana existed. Major Winters kicked so much ass in his life, when I found out he died a few days ago I legitimately felt sad for the rest of that day. My day was ruined. And I've never met the man. I just saw the series on HBO.
