What is up, ladies and gentlemen! By now, you know that it none other than myself, David Kerms, bringing you some insight right before one of the biggest events in the WZCW Calendar. We are just hours away from the conclusion of The Gold Rush Tournament and, of course, crowning a new WZCW Heavyweight Champion after the demise and turmoil surrounding former Champion Dr Zeus.

1. Mikey Stormrage & John Constantine - Number One Contenders

2. Eve Taylor - Elite Openweight Champion

3. Phantoms of Chaos - Tag Team Champions

4. Matt Tastic

5. Titus Avison - EurAsian Champion

6. Garth Black

7. Veejay

8. Kagura Joheki

9. John Doe

10. Cooper and Keaton

And with that, I am bringing you a very quick Power Rankings update. As some of you may have expected, the Gold Rush Finalists, Champions, and number one contenders make up the entirety of the list. At the very top of the list, two men who cannot be any closer in terms of expectations and talent; Mikey Stormrage and John Constantine. The same two men who will wrestle in a ladder match for the Heavyweight Championship after being seemingly separated at the hip for months. This is it for the two of them and they know it. What a match these two will have.

And speaking of huge matches, not many this year will come close to the spectacle that promises to occur between Eve Taylor and John Doe. Taylor finds herself at number 2 in the rankings, whilst her challenger finds himself just breaking the competitive list at number 9. But with the break up of the Trinity, John Doe has been motoring as a singles superstar and will be hoping to continue to hold Eve to ransom after stealing her Championship.

The Phantoms of Chaos are up next as Tag Team Champions. Despite, seemingly, being caught short by their challengers (who find themselves at number 10 on the list), The Phantoms of Chaos are well up the Power Rankings at number 3. Their reign has been overwhelming but they find themselves embroiled in a deeply personal feud at Gold Rush; a chairs match waiting for them. After finding themselves on the receiving end of punishment for so long this cycle, the Phantoms will be hoping to put their challengers in their place and off the list for good.

The final champion of WZCW, Titus Avison finds himself at number 5 in the Power Rankings, despite not having a concrete opponent for the Gold Rush event. It remains to be seen whether a challenger will emerge after news of Flex Mussel, supposedly, not being able to compete. With such great performance this round, Titus might not have a queue of challengers if the worst comes to the worst, despite him holding the EurAsian Championship.

And finally, the four finalists for the Gold Rush Tournament are stuck together at number 4, 6, 7, and 8 in the latest Power Rankings. There is nothing to separate the four competitors as they head into some of the most important matches of their careers. But what can be promised is that one of them will sky rocket up the Rankings with a massive win at Gold Rush. Stay tuned to find out who it will be...
