Something On My Mind About Rhode Scholars

I hate them together fundamentally. I feel like they absolutely should not be together as their overall gimmicks don't match. If anything I feel like they should be feuding rather than teaming and here's why.

Cody Rhodes has always been about looks. Whether it be Dashing Cody Rhodes, masked cody rhodes whatever it may be looks have been what Cody has preached in his singles career.

Sandow has always been about being the better intellectual. This is what got him popular his ability to be an intellectuall while still being someone who can get over.

Rhodes has never tried to act like an intellectual and Sandow has never tried to act like his looks are that great.

So then why are they teaming? I know WWE is trying to make Rhodes appear more smart however why should he have to assimilate into Sandow's persona? I don't understand the idea that Cody Rhodes is not good enough on his own and quite frankly the main problem is why they don't think he's good enough to have a gimmick of his own.

If/when they break up I truly hope they do a Mind vs Body type of feud and turn Cody face with his tagline being something to the extent of "I have the looks, and I have the skills to beat anyone."

However for the time being I can't feel that this tag pairing is more forced than it is natural.

Agreed, but the same argument could be made saying Rhodes should go up to Sandow saying "why do you wear a bathrobe to the ring?"

Rhode Scholars is the only thing keeping Rhodes on TV. If they break up I honestly don't know what he can possibly do that he hasn't beside go for the WHC but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
