So What? PTP Edition

Occasional Pre-Show
Ok, ive gotten some positive feedback about this series, so lets try a tag team....this thread should be worth millions of dollars, millions of dollars. Im talking about the Prime time Players. I think they were on to something when AW managed them...since his firing I see nothing but lost steam and no direction. So I ask, when it comes to the Prime time players, am I missing something, do you like what they bring to the division....so what?

Personally i think they are great, they mesh well and are easily on par with if not more entertaining outside the ropes then Kane and D.Bryan were pulling off, but i think atm they were lost in the shuffle of Hell No and Rhode Scholars with Rhodes Scholars being a better looking team and better in the ring overall.

I can't see why at some point PTP couldn't have won the gold tho they were clearly far from the worst out there, then again the Uso's were tremendous in the ring too and look where they are, and maybe it's just me but they seem to be putting on weight :)

Titus and Young have certainly made a complete 180 from the lacklustre characters they were in NXT and since they have done that they should be rewarded IMO.

So i say, no i don't think you aren't missing anything (unless ofcourse you meant you don't see the possibility of great things from them), WWE is just not giving them the ball to run with for whatever reason, but they certainly could and if so it would be as faces, i feel they are nearing that point where they aren't really bagging the fans or the face stars they are just goofing around more and more each month

Unfortunately it seems D.Young is out with an injury like everyone else seems to be copping at the moment so there goes any change of PTP doing anything in the immediate future. Pretty good that as soon as they edge the content a little bit alot of people are getting injured more often or maybe they are just useless at protecting themselves and each other :)

They are fantastic - especially Titus. They both have charisma and can work a match. There is nothing not to like about them. The dancing and the whistle are both hilarious. They can carry the tag-division if needs be and I am desperate for them to win the belts of Team Hell No.

I like them. There's loads of untapped potential with them. Both are really entertaining too, even if sometimes it's unintentional. Young's quick "aint nobody got time fo' dat!" on the Raw before the Rumble was hilarious. They need to build on that being another catchphrase :D

I like the PTPs. All in all, if nothing else, they're a solid tag team that generally has solid matches. The two of them seem to have a good, natural chemistry with each other and, personally, I think there's still a ton of untapped potential with them.

Titus O'Neil has demonstrated a surprising level of personality. As he's the strength of the team, I figured that Darren Young would be the one to display more personality, as powerhouses aren't generally known for that as much as the smaller guys as a whole.

Due to the build to WrestleMania, the tag team picture appears to have been put on the backburner. It doesn't surprise me and I honestly expected that to happen as there are other matches & feuds on the card, the major money matches, that are going to get most of the attention for the WM build. Hopefully, things will pick back up for the tag team scene and the PTPs in the post WM season.

I don't see it. They blow a whistle and sway back and forth. They're decent on the mic, but really nothing special. Good workers in the ring, but the barking is annoying.
