If it makes you feel better, I dropped my Iphone back when I was in Durham, NC. It has a cracked screen, and has for weeks now. A couple weeks ago, the black button fell off, but it was ok, because the silver underneath could still be pushed for the same effect.

Until tonight, when the silver part fell off into my hand. So, I now have scotch tape holding together my button.


Basically, I'm going to be out of $200 REAL soon.

I've been through about 5 phones in the last 3 years (each of them either lost, washed or broken), so I never get attached to them.

Hopefully your one wasn't too expensive though.

I've had two phones, this is the first that broke. This one was my mom's old phone actually, so technically only one phone. I wanted to get the LG Chocolate, but it's too expensive, so yet another old phone!

Ahh well, at least I have a phone!

I don't get why people want to spend hundreds of dollars on something as ridiculous as a phone. If it calls, texts, stores numbers and looks alright, why don't you just buy it? That's its purpose, isn't it? Why does it need a music player and awesome video playback?

I like my Iphone because I'm on the road a lot, and the Ipod comes in handy. Additionally, I have lots of things to remember, and I can sync it with a calendar and keep track of events.

Best story I've ever heard in my life. There's a news anchor here named Brian Williams who works for NBC. He writes a weekly column for their website about whatever he feels like talking about at the time. He wrote a column about how he was talking with a friend of his at NBC's offices who had bought an ipod and had paid an extra fee so he could listen to live radio and tv on it. Williams looks at him and says, "You mean like I do for free, on a real radio and a regular sized tv?" The guy looked like his puppy had been stolen.
