1 GHz on a cell phone? That's fucking sick. It wasn't long ago that laptops had that type of processing speed. Toshiba TG01 is going to kick ass in the hardware department. I wouldn't say it's an iphone killer as it won't have the same cool factor and the support of apple's hipness.
