Smackdown is moving to Cable

According to the main site Smackdown will be moving to the Syfy network sometime this fall. Same time slot but now everyone will be able to see it.

I'm very happy with the move. I haven't been able to watch Smackdown in God knows how long, but I do have the Syfy channel, so I'll be able to watch it again if I choose to.

This is great news for WWE and fans. Not so great for My Network TV. I have had different cable and satellite services and still haven't had My Network TV. I don't think I have been able to watch an episode of Smackdown since it was on WB.

I have MyNetwork TV, and I still don't watch it.

I wonder what would happen if Smackdown was on Tuesday, and NXT on Friday...

With how family-oriented Smackdown has become (even more so than Raw), I feel like I'm watching TGIF all over again (full house and such). I don't like it on Friday nights, but having it on SyFy will give more people an opportunity to check it out.

I'll be happy if they do move the show to syfy, Now I'll be able to watch SD. My local channel sucks and SD looks crappy and I just don't watch SD because of that.

This is good news, they might beef up the roster with some more stars in the draft now.

The Score's been considered "cable" for ages. Don't understand why this excites anyone.

Good move, although SyFY still seems a rather odd place for a wrestling show.

and yes, while we are at the changes, please go to Thursday

I have explained the Smackdown to SyFy move fantastically in the official thread in the Smackdown section.
