Coco

Mid-Card Championship Winner
  1. John Cena
  2. Randy Orton
  3. CM Punk
  4. Daniel Bryan
  5. Big Show
  6. Brock Lesnar

If we're awarding this based on who made their minutes count the most, clearly Lesnar wins.

The fact that CM Punk is on the list at all is laughable.

It would honestly just be fine with Cena, Bryan and Orton.

Not really - CM Punk had probably a fantastic first half of the year - good matches with The Rock (both in between ****), a great match with Undertaker, a great match with Chris Jericho, a good performance at MITB and a great match with Brock Lesnar. He also had that fantastic match with Cena on Raw.

From a wrestling stand point, yes he was very good (although the only matches I would call great there are the latter 2). From a kayfabe standpoint, on which the Slammys are judged on, he's had an awful year.

Will this be app voted? I'd like to think Bryan would win that. Cena's probably had the best year, some big wins with less shit landing on him than anyone else. The fact that the whole thing is a work wings this in his favour too, seeing as it can play into his rivalry with orton.

We all know Beard of the Year is the real prize.

Kayfabe there is no other choice besides Cena. Royal Rumble win, MOTY candidate with Punk on RAW, beat The Rock for the WWE title, MOTY candidate with Bryan, returns from injury and wins the WHC on the same night, great match with Sandow the following night and now is competing for the Unified Championship. Second place is Bryan for the simple reason that he beat Cena for the WWE title. Everyone else needs to not be on the list at all

Kayfabe: Cena. If they're using it to push storylines, it could go to either Cena or DB. But the storyline factor is the only reason I put DB into it, seeing as HBK is presenting the award.
