Should WWE release a new Brock Lesnar DVD?

I know they released "Here Comes The Pain", but they can do better. Perhaps a 3 DVD boxset? I know he's in the UFC now, but I think it would sell in the WWE to older fans.

It could have his debut, KOTR, RR, championship wins, Wrestlemanias, and his feuds with Undertaker, Rock, Hogan, Cena and Big Show. I think Vince would love to add the Hogan section because Brock DESTROYED him. If not, it's cool. They have enough material to leave out the Hogan piece. Hell, show how he dominated Hardcore Holly at Royal Rumble.

I think it'd be a smart idea for WWE. Lesnar is more popular than ever right now, and they can take advantage of the fact that they found him before he went into MMA (even though he probably could have just gone straight to the UFC and still be awesome).

What are your thoughts?

actually, he would of been better. brock and shane carwin both stopped wrestling after they left college this is one of the biggest factors in the mma world regarding the upcoming lesnar vs cain fight. cain has never stopped his wrestling he went straight into the sport and didnt have downtime. lesnar would also be a blackbelt in bjj(hes a purple now) and his standup wouldnt be what it is(horrible)...

but ontopic... i wouldnt doubt when wwe releases there 2011 dvd list that we see a lesnar dvd on there

i really dont see a point to them releasing a dvd for brock sure he was entertaining but its not like they are looking to promote a guy who will NEVER return to the wwe. It would just be stupid. I could understand if he was going to come back in the future but why would the top draw in the UFC want to go back to being a professional wrestler when he is so good at what he is doing and has already basically accomplished everything there is to do in WWE. So no I dont see wwe putting out a brock lesnar dvd because it would just be dumb of them to do.

I think it'd be a good idea. Why not capitalize on his popularity and momentum? Make themselves a few bucks lol. Perhaps a "Best of matches" DVD. I don't think they have enough footage for a 3 disc dvd box set. Normally they have like one and a half dvd's for matches, another 1 for a bio with interviews and a half for special features. But without Brocks involvement the bio part would likely be very lackluster.

Im sure WWE will do this one day...but not anytime soon or in the far future...

It always good to see the best of past wrestlers, it's always good to see true greats from the past, and whilst Brock wasn't wrestling for a long time...I think his DVD would be rather interesting...

I can already place out what will be in there aswell, but like I said, not anytime in the future...

If they put

PPV debut vs. Hardys (At JD I think?)
KOTR Final vs. RVD (although short, it was the start of his push)
Vs. Rock at Summerslam
Vs. Undertaker HIAC
Vs. Hogan when he slaughters him
Royal Rumble from where he won
Vs. Angle at WM
" " " Summerslam
" " " Iron Man
Vs. Cena at Backlash 03
Vs. Big Show JD 03
Vs. Guerrero at NWO (although it's been overdone on DVD's, its' a great match)
And Vs. Benoit (Although that won't happen with Benoit ban)

I'd so fucking buy that. That would be a top 10 set that they've released. And that's only 2 years of work. Amazing.

Although I believe that the release of another Brock Lesnar DVD will be exciting, I don't think it will happen any time soon. Even though WWE officials have said in the past that they are not in competition with the likes of UFC, Mr. McMahon will not alow it.

As we all know by now, Mr. McMahon (or rather his ego) does not like to "promote" former employees that are now in a different business. Most notable examples of this are: Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam. Even though the ones i mentioned are in TNA, I don't believe it makes a difference to Vince. Just think...is Brock Lesnar in the WWE ALUMNI section?

So when will we see a new Brock Lesnar DVD?... who knows...perhaps when Brock Lesnar has finally retired from UFC...but before that...i doubt it will happen...

Although i want to say yes i will say no and for this reason, 2002-2004 was his whole WWE career most of which was as a big player main event guy. Even if you brought all his very best matches together the DVD would lack quite a bit. Normally when they make these DVD's you need to have at least 5 years to make it into a good collection. Not to say it cant be done or it would be a bad idea. I personally just think its not needing done considering Brock has had nothing to do with the company for 6 years now and more then likely never will again.

As much as having a Brock DVD come out being the most awesome thing to happen because I get to relive matches that were downright unforgettable, the truth is he only spent a couple years in WWE and so there's not a lot to work off of. Sure we has dominant and undoubtedly successful, but personally the thing that makes those 3 disc DVDs so cool is that you're able to see matches and how the wrestler or the company has evolved over time.

For example, a Shawn Michaels DVD would contain matches when he was a Rocker, when he was with Sensational Sherri and his fabulous mullet, when he was living the boyhood dream, his days with DX, his return, and his "retirement tour". Something that spans 20 years. You'd get to see a really good illustration of the eveolution of wrestling in a Shawn Michaels DVD.

With a Brock Lesnar DVD, you would only get to see matches from a short period of time. Not really as illustrious as an HBK DVD would be. It's this kind of thing that could possibly take away from the quality of the DVD. Not to mention the fact that Here Comes The Pain pretty much has all his important matches on it already.

Oh and Decarow, in response to your sig, "That's what she said."

Now if UFC released a Brock DVD, that would be another story. I'm not a major fan of UFC, but I'm pretty sure that a DVD highlighting Brock's best matches would be pretty popular. It hadn't been done yet (not to my knowledge), so it would be something to check out.

I don't know if they have enough footage to put out another DVD he was only on the main roster for just under two years. Plus he wouldn't be able to be apart of it. Maybe when he's not in UFC anymore they can do something with. They would have to use some of the same matches from his first DVD.

Some of my favorite DVD's and strengths of the WWE are their DVD and archieve footages. I watch The Four Hourseman, Rise and Fall of WCW, Monday night wars and Flairs 3 Disc set alot just because it was when wrestling was good and it brings back good memories on numerous levels.
Plus, I could watch Brock vs. Angle over and over again vs. Angle doing this climb the ladder top 10 thing.

Because WWE owns the rights to the footage and the could make money of Lesnar even when he is not under contract with them, thats why.

They Should Release A Brock Lesnar DVD. I Say That Because Even Though He Was Only A Professional Wrestler For 2 Years, Those 2 Years Sparked Every Wrestling Fan's Mind. From His WM Match With Goldberg & His WM Match With Kurt (The Shooting Star Press) To His Championships and Everything, Those 2 Years Meant More To WWE Fans (Especially Me) Then People That Are Currently In The Buisness That Have Been There For About 3-5 Years

I don't think it a good idea to release a Brock DVD. He wasn't around for very long & most of his matches were not all that memorable.....there were a few good one's here & there but nothing to write home about. Brock was one of those people that, imho, got over-hyped and couldn't really handle the spotlight once it was handed to him. While he had Paul Heyman to do the mic work for him he was marginally interesting.....but thats about it. Thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

WWE wont release a Brock DVD while he is under contract with UFC. They would be promoting one of THEIR stars!!! WWE were close to pulling the plug on the Jeff Hardy and Hogan Box Sets when they rocked up in TNA but they were already in production. Kurt Angle is another who deserves a DVD but wont happen till he leaves TNA!!!

I would never rule out a DVD for Brock or Kurt, if its gunna make them both money I am pretty sure they would be up for it. If Bret could come back to make a DVD I'm sure both of these would. Hell, they wouldnt even have to come back...Savage and Warrior didnt for theirs!!!

As for Brock NEVER returning to WWE. I wouldnt be so sure of that. Brock wont be in UFC forever and if the money was right (he loves his dollars), he would deffo make a return, even if for 1 last match.
