Should Tomko Return?

Top Gun

Dark Match Jobber
I'm a Tomko fan no doubt about it. I used to watch him manage Christian when he was in WWE a while back. I tryed to unlock him as fast as I could on the TNA video game. I hated it when he left WWE and then when I heard he signed a contract with TNA I thought awesome. Then when he left TNA for a while I thought bring him back already but I want to know do you think he should come back?

meh, Tomko is nothing special. Its not a knock on him, but what else could he bring to the table that TNA doesn't already have? He is tall yeah, so is Morgan so no. He has tatoos yeah same as Morgan, Crimson and Gunner so again no chance for him. The only way TNA could bring him back is if and thats a big if they would form a faction with him,Morgan,Crimson and Gunner.

Im the biggest tomko mark there is, and i have no idea why. i just think he's sick. i always marked the fuck out when he was in that faction with styles and angle and randomly carried a fake championship.

anyways, while i am a fan, he brings nothing to the table (as stated above) and is the opposite of what impact needs to bring in, so I have to say that no, Tomko should not return

No last time Tomko came back he was noticably out of shape and looked really slow and uncoordinated, and if thats not enough he has no personality what so ever. I haven't seen him in a while but he was pretty awfull and to me he would be a waste of a roster spot in TNA or WWE.

I really don't see anything special about him either. I always thought he was a good body guard though. I can see him protecting people like The Miz, Cody Rhodes or Ted DiBiase?

I would like to see him back as christians problem solver, turn christian heel, bring tomko back and have him go after Orton. Would make a good storyline for the championship

Hell yeah. I don't know why, but I've always liked Tomko. His look maybe? It would be cool to see him as Christian's problem solver again(if he turns heel, which I think he wil). Soory to bring up WWE. Tomko could do something. I always though he could be a midcard champ at least.

I havent seen him since he left WWE, I never watched TNA when they signed him, but if he is out of shape as some stated then thats the last thing we want to see back in a wrestling ring.

I never liked the guy but he was interesting to watch, mainly as Christians hired muscle, if he did a Matt Hardy on us and got back in shape I dont see why it would be a bad idea to have him sign with either major company, it would be a minor mark out moment to see him re-debut as a hired goon again. And WWE is rebuilding the manager role so why not?!?

For what? For him to make a somewhat memorable but at the same time mediocre debut and a couple house show appearances? Tomko won't do shit in TNA, WWE, or any major wrestling compnay in the World. He brings nothing to the table other than a somewhat impressive look that he's actually thrown away since gaining a couple pounds. Tomko can try all he wants to act cool and whatnot, but he's just...so...bleh. I'm not saying that a Tomko return won't happen, but who needs him? Tomko would just add more dead weight on a roster with a lot of guys with tons of potential. Impact Wrestling doesn't need Tomko.

No, TNA have an overfilled Roster as it is without adding another worthless wrestler. Tomko was only ever average at best. He was painfully average in the ring, couldnt really talk and I could never see someone like him holding any kind of title, except maybe the tag straps.

In his last TNA he was terribly out of shape anyway, so if he is still like that then he should definitely not return. The only way I could see him back in TNA would be as a bodyguard, as he was ok in that role with Christian and he is a mean looking bastard. However, I dont think he would add anywhere near enough to TNA to justify giving the guy a paycheque.

That post just now got me wondering, Where the hell is Billy Kidman these days?

So, I decided to check The Fountain of All Definitely Legitimately Sourced Knowledge™ [Wikipedia]. Apparently he's working backstage with the WWE these days, as well as working as a trainer for FCW. Nice. Good to see the guy's still in the industry.

I always liked Kidman in the WCW days, but I was never too sure why.

As for Tomko, he used to look quite impressive, but in his last TNA run he was completely forgettable. Not to mention pretty out of shape. Meh, I'm not really interested in seeing any more of him.

No. Tomko sucked. There is no reason for him to return because it would not benefit the federation whatsoever. TNA/Impact Wrestling has a roster FULL of guys more deserving of a push than him, and they don't suck like Tomko does.

I would like to see an in shape Tomko return and form a tag team with a heel, Christopher Daniels. I would like to see Daniels turn on Fortune. He and Tomko have similar looks. Daniels could do most of the talking. I think the big man and the high flyer always is a good combo for a tag team. They could add life to a floundering tag division.

With Roode out for a "kayfabe" injury, Chris Sabin out with a real injury, the tag division looks pretty weak. BI seems to be depushed. Ink Inc. sucks. The young bucks are okay, but bland personality wise. Immortal doesn't have a real tag team in it. Tomko and Daniels would be a great additions. They could join immortal and be called The Devil's Advocates. (Hogan being the devil.)

Yeah they should bring back tomko he was great and could be a future main eventer/world champion Are you fucking kidding me?!

The problem with this list is that you're looking at most of the names on there being over 35 years old. With a roster that is already full with older names, it isn't feasible for TNA to continue to bring them in. Then, there are guys like Konnan that has legitimate beef with TNA that I don't see coming back anytime soon.

Then, some of the younger guys like Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal, when the X-Division got pushed out of the way before they left, ended up getting horribly used. I could see Lethal making his way to WWE before he goes to TNA if WWE still has interest in him (they tried to sign him to a Developmental Deal back before he signed with TNA) and the fact that a student of his just made her Smackdown debut this past week (Miss April, aka AJ).

Tomko's look is his career. If he doesn't have a monster look, he doesn't have a career. To have a chance of being resigned by either IMPACT or WWe he needs to consult either Chris Masters or Matt Morgan on how to maintain a jacked look without *ahem* stimulants. As things stand, if either company is looking a big bald monster enforcer, then Giant Bernard (the former A-Train) has the natural build to carry his weight and with his tenure in Japan, his in ring ability should be of a good standard (although probably more suited to IMPACT, for WWe readjustment in FCW would probably be prescribed).

...Then, there are guys like Konnan that has legitimate beef with TNA that I don't see coming back anytime soon...

What's Konnan's beef? Aren't they working with him over in AAA at the moment?

I'm sure Jarrett was banging on about making a deal with Konnan on that advertisement for the TNA invasion of AAA.
