Should The WWE Use A TNA Tactic?

OIL

Championship Contender
Listen before you go having a go.

With their fans, TNA let's the loudest fans backstage or autographs or something. I think the WWE should do something like this, because it's no secret that their fans basically sit there in silence during most of the matches.

Chicago, NYC & England fans are usually the loudest, from what i've seen. Anyone can add to that list if they feel i've missed someone out.

But when the crowd get into a match, it makes the match more exciting. When you're watching at home you get more into it.

E.g - Regal vs Orton - England Obviously in England Regal is going to get a reaction, but during that match the fans were going "Let's go Regal" and "Engerland" during most of that match. It just made the match more exciting.

Anyone agree that they should have a backstage pass for the loudest fans? Hell, if the fans have no idea what to chant, usually they show a little video before the show starts to the live crowd (WM 24 highlights or something else), have a video on crowd chants.

No. How exactly are you going to find the loudest fan in a WWE arena? It only works in TNA because it's the same fans each week. they're just slowly working their way around the iMPACT Zone.

It's also buying fans in a way. The show should be more than enough. You should get your moneys worth each time. That isn't the case, but it should be.

yea tna 's crowd is not like wwe crowd.... wwe crowd is new every week there for you cant do a loudest fan thing... plus a ticket to see tna's impact taping is free so the tna loudest fan thing is an insentive to get people to show up to there taping .... wwe sells its self.... any little kid will beg his parents to go .... so inconclusion wwe does not need an insinteve to have a sell out crowd , but tna needs it to get people to show up

so that means that of course wwe attracts more people than tna(but thats to be discussed some where else not here)

I was at that Raw in London, and the crowd were chanting for Regal every time he appeared on the tron and the whole way through his match. When D.H. Smith came out, most of the crowd were chanting 'Let's go Bulldog' even though he'd been announced as the 'Canadian Bulldog.' I personally was chanting for his opponent Super Crazy, not because i hate the Bulldog or anything, but because i miss the Insane Luchador getting the chance to put on offense. Burchill didn't get much of a reaction as i recall, despite being English but i guess people either really hated Burchill, or didn't know who he was. But hey, Hardcore Holly fought a jobber that night and that envoked a 'Who are ya?' chant so who knows.

My point is, you're bound to get a lively crowd during a hometown boy's match. Just look at the tag main event on Raw last week in D.C.

As said before WWE aren't going to pick people out to go backstage. Their equivalent is things like Kisscam, Million Dollar Mania, or lately, having little kids get in the ring at House shows to do Kennedy's entrance. The WWE guys have so little free time, i doubt they'd want to spend time after every show talking to fans. They have specific events set aside for that sort of thing. Sure it's your Benjamins and Kennedys and not your HBKs and Undertakers but those guys have spent 20 odd years with no free time, so i wouldn't expect them to. If i saw Taker, my fave wrestler, in the street i probably wouldn't pester him even though i'd really want to, because I know he'd probably try to pretend i wasn't there and i hope taht i'd try to respect his privacy.

TNA guys have more time to relax so i guess they're more receptive to the idea. I've seen a lot of people on here and Facebook/MySpace etc with photo's of themselves with Samoa Joe. If his work schedule tripled and his fan base tripled also, do you think he'd be so willing to have photos done?

I guess it depends on the wrestler. At a SD house show Jimmy Wang Yang came out and did autogrpahs, the other guys did not. I met Chris Jericho at Download Festival when Fozzy played, and he was stood alone in an open area havin photos taken. I walked up, shook his hand, congratulated him on a great set and moved along a) not to pester the guy and b) Megadeth were about to come on, lol.

Basically, they could do that, but don't hold your breath.
