Whilst travelling through ReverbNation, a Website I usually use to find out about unknown Bands etc, I came across a Band who struck me by their strangely odd name.

"Sheila & The Mangoes" are actually from my area, 'cos I use the Local Search. They've got 3 songs available at the moment, 1 original & 2 Covers.
They've got good instrumentalists, not the Greatest singer, but I think you should give them a listen 'cos the name is just something odd in itself.

Can't say I like'em much, but rep for telling me about that site. Usually to find good local bands I've got to play scenester kid and go to a lot of shows or take the word of friends.

Ahh, this thing is great for finding great Talent right under your nose, believe me. Found a few amazing bands, a few within half an hours distance from me.
