Shane Helms & Girlfriend Involved in Motorcycle Accident

Former WWE star Shane Helms and his girlfriend were involved in a motorcycle accident last night near their home in North Carolina.

Both are currently hospitalized. We have confirmed Helms broke his leg and his ankle. There may have been additional injuries but we don't have any confirmation.

PWInsider.com would like to send our best wishes to Helms and his girlfriend and their families and friends during this trying time.

Gotta hope all the injuries are minor.

Seeing I haven't read spoilers, I was guessing he was Matt Hardy's mystery tag partner. Hmm. Not a big fan of his, but I wouldn't wish injury upon anyone.

Tha O Show host, Big Daddy Donnie is reporting that frequent guest Shane Helms and his girlfriend have sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident last night. Helms is reported to have suffered a broken leg, broken ankle, and broken nose. His jaw seems to have been dislocated and he has received over 200 stitches.

Karen suffered a broken neck.

It is not yet known to us how the accident occurred but we continue to keep both Shane and Karen in our thoughts.

That really sucks. I hope both of them have a speedy recovery.

That sucks. I hope they both are okay. Assuming the injuries are minor, they might have dodged a bullet. My Dad was in an accident on his bike about 2 years ago, and had to have spinal surgery. He worked with his hands in construction and hasn't been the same since. Some dude was driving drunk and pulled out of a lot right in front of him and my Dad was thrown from his bike, right into his wind shield and it jammed his neck and damaged nerves and what not.

This injury sucks, I've always been fond of Helms, especially when he was the Hurricane, that made for some of my favorite segments ever, I hope their injuries aren't anything that's going to fuck up their quality of life from here on out

Shane's neck can't be in good condition either. Didn't he have broken vertebrae in 2007?
