Seth Rollins, the one who beats the one at Mania 31

Quick idea here guys, if Lesnar is to leave after mania, Why not have him retain at mania, only for heyman to screw him over by getting Rollins to cash in and take him out after an absolutely brutal match?

This allows lesnar to get written off, allows Rollins to be elevated to a whole new level and gives heyman a legit main event client to work with. It'll also be completely new and give us a true mania moment.

Thoughts?

Why would you have Heel Lesnar go over a Babyface presumably, to get screwed by another Heel in Traitorface Rollins...and thereafter Brock goes off into the sunset.

Who plays the damsel in distress in such a scenario? Why do you screw a Heel Brock for, especially if he is to be written off?

I never thought of it. That would be an interesting partnership.

It would suck Brock would go because it probably would make him just as big of a face, if not bigger than he was in late 2002 after Heyman turned on him for Show.

Rollins would definitely be the top heel. I assume Rollins would resume his feud with Reigns.

I think WWE is going to pull a swrve and have Cena win the title at Rumble after a run-in from a returning Randy Orton, leading to Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. John Cena defends the WWE Title against a heel turning Roman Reigns and regardless of who wins, I wsee Rollins cashing in on the winner and Heyman becoming the full time manager of Rollins the night after Mania 31. With Lesnar supposedly leaving, the belt will be dropped soon, and if he is holding it at Mania, its too obvious the result. Have him drop it to Cena at the Rumble, then Orton gets a top face spot against Lesnar in a match we havent seen yet. Cena vs Reigns sells itsel;f also and Rollins can pick up the crumbs.

roman is the one who beat the brock. Afterthat rollins gonna cash in on roman and became a new champion. First mitb cash in at wm. Romans first reign lost in seconds.

Personally that sounds like a horrible way to close the biggest Pay-Per-View/Special Event of the year. I honestly don't think the Money in the Bank briefcase should ever be cashed in at 'Mania, unless in the style of RVD and John Cena.

Imagine you've just paid for tickets for the biggest show of the year (these aren't cheap), flown/driven to the State only to have a screwjob ending to the night? I'd be pissed off, and not in a good way.

As currently booked, I have a problem with Seth Rollins winning the world title.

So far, he's the guy who can't do anything by himself. For a rookie (as far as singles wrestling goes) he's had an amazing number of people supporting him since he split from the Shield: Mercury & Noble, Kane, Randy Orton....and the Authority itself. The TLC and RAW matches against John Cena are the clearest indication that Seth is being depicted as too dependent on his entourage to hold the belt.

Even though he's as prominently featured as anyone in sports entertainment, I'd like to think Creative isn't going to book a guy like that as world champion. Sure, there have been titleholders in the past who are bad guys, guys who cheat to win. But even guys like The Miz won and retained the title with individual effort when they were champion.

Until Rollins starts clearing his own pathways, I don't think he's beating Brock, Cena, Reigns or anyone else to win the big belt. Of course, somewhere down the line they will be booking him as a contender capable of handling things alone, but if they're not doing it by WM31, I don't think he'll be emerging as the #1 man in WWE in April.

I have to agree with Sally. There have been countless heels in the past who have held title's and cheated in almost every single match to either win or retain them. I cant't count how many low blows I've seen Flair deliver since I've been watching wrestling.

The single issue is just that, they did it by themselves, rarely with outside interference. Certainly not to the extent we see now. If Kane doesn't interfere in at least one match on every TV show it is surprising, and that TLC match between Rollins and Cena was basically at 3-1 with J & J Security out there doing something every couple of minutes.

Think it was Lawler or Cole who said a couple of times, that it was ridiculous what was going on. I'm afraid that all these shenanigans have done nothing but make Seth Rollins look weak. And the more it happens, he looks even weaker.

As a member of the Shield he was fearless, now it seems like he's fearful and that's not a good sign of a champion. Even in cage matches they manage to interfere in some manner. Until he shows that he can win, and we know he can, without the help, he won't be champion. They've taken it just a little too far with him.

The one problem going for Rollins right now is that he's being booked as a heel who constantly needs help winning. When it comes to top level heels, for some strange reason, Vince LOVES for them to look vulnerable and unable to get the job done on their own. I have no problem with Rollins cheating, heels are supposed to cheat, but all the various interference is too much sometimes. If Rollins is to cheat, let him pull some tights, let him hit a guy with a foreign object, give him a low blow when the ref isn't looking, but stop with the incompetent stooges, Big Show, Luke Harper or whoever keep interfering in the matches.

I see a couple of possible scenarios:

1. Reigns defeats Brock Lesnar to win the title at WrestleMania XXXI, Rollins cashes in and steals the title. The next night on Raw, both Reigns & Lesnar want their title matches and a triple threat bout is made featuring Lesnar's first match on television. Reigns & Lesnar ultimately keep getting in each other's way, Rollins retains, Lesnar leaves WWE and a feud between Reigns & Rollins extends into the summer, possibly culminating at SummerSlam.

2. Reigns wins at WrestleMania XXXI, Lesnar gets his rematch on Raw the next night, Reigns retains and then Rollins successfully cashes in. This way, Reigns gets his big WrestleMania moment, Raw gets a very special main event the next night and ultimately a new champion with Rollins & Reigns feuding throughout the summer for the strap.

Even though Rollins needs help winning, he looked extremely strong last night anyway. I don't think we can put too much stock in a heel needing help winning matches. Edge made a career out of it.

And I personally can see Rollins cashing in on Lesnar now, especially because of their newly formed alliance (of course, we don't know the extent of that alliance, it may have just been a handshake), but it certainly opened the doors to a believable Rollins/Lesnar feud/match. Maybe even a triple thread with Cena, Lesnar, and Rollins. I'm just kinda thinking out loud here. All I know is that Rollins has been extremely impressive this year, and last night sort of solidified that for me.

All the interference reminds me of Orton and Legacy, back then it felt like all the big things Orton accomplished during that big run was thanks to Legacy running interference. Taking out Batista, taking out the McMahons, winning the title off HHH, winning the 2009 RR, one way or another none of those seemed possible without Legacy. And yet that run was quite possibly Orton's best, sure he looked like crap when he needed Cody/Ted to pull Shane off him of all things but end of the day he was the one cutting the promos, getting the heat, putting on the great matches and of course holding the gold.

Of course like everything there's limits. For example it felt reaaaaaaaaally dumb for Rollins to accuse Cena of not being able to win without help, like seriously? Are we supposed to think he's crazy or somehow forget all of J&J's antics?

Anyway I think Rollins will be fine as long as they play their cards right. The big heel needing minions to win is nothing new and as long as he can keep putting out solid promos and great matches to back them up he should be a great champ, until his eventual face turn where he ditches J&J entirely and starts winning the big matches solo.

I think that was the point of having Rollins accuse Cena of needing help. We were supposed to be thinking "Rollins, you always need help, you cowardly scumbag. You're such a heel."

Roman Reigns will be the WWE Champ after WM 31...for 1 day....

Brock will attack Reigns on Raw the very next night and his new alliance - Seth Rollins - will cash in and be the new WWE Champ...

Brock gets his revenge...Reigns has his moment...And Rollins does what heels do, setting up the Reigns Rollins fued

^^ yep. I see that happening. Its pretty much confirmed Reigns is winning the title at WM from all the reports. Ive read everywhere Lesnar vs Regins is a lock for Mania, but Rollins cashes in on Raw to win

I almost posted a thread about something almost just like this idea, but there is one big difference.

I love the idea of Seth Rollins, who outside of Lesnar is the hottest heel in the WWE right now, having the biggest MITB cash in of all time by doing it at WrestleMania. The difference in my idea would be I would have Reigns go over Lesnar. Give reigns the big win to cement him as the new top face. Then after a little celebrating Lesnar and Heyman jump reigns from behind. With Reigns down Heyman starts frantically waiving to the back for someone. . .

CUE Rollins music. Reigns struggles to his feat and gets dropped with a curb stomp. Rollins becomes the new champ, and right off the bat the very next night after Mania WWE is set up for a feud that even in today's sped up world of pro wrestling could carry them through Summerslam.
