Scott Hall Fired

The word backstage at the TNA Impact tapings this week has been that Scott Hall is no longer working for TNA. Hall was arrested on May 14 for disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer outside The Hitching Post bar in Florida. Hall had been working on a nightly deal for TNA until he was let go by the company. www.prowrestling.net

TNA management wasn't informed of Hall's arrest until they read about it online the day of the Slammiversary show. Hall was sent home at the Impact tapings last night. Looks like hell has froze over after all. Is there any hope for Scott Hall or is this truly Hall's last ride into the sunset?

NOTE: Something associated with this happened at the Impact tapings last night. DO NOT SAY WHAT IT WAS or you will receive an infraction for posting spoilers which carries a one week ban. Consider this your warning.

I say it was his last ride. Some people just refuse to grow up.Scott Hall needs to realize that he's not in his 30's anymore. He was a good wrestler with alot of natural charisma and it's a shame he couldn't end his last run on a high note.I doubt TNA will take another chance with him in the near future.

It's difficult, he's clearly a guy with a lot of charisma and stuff but he can't just NOT do all that stuff that gets him into trouble, without it ruining his on screen persona. I'm not saying he should prioritize wrestling over his health (because I'm not an idiot), but you do have to wonder whether a clean Scott Hall would even be the same? HBK was obvious still really good when he came back, but once he wasn't an asshole he lost a lot of his character that made him good in the first place I think.

I was going to start a thread on this an hour ago, but I didn't. I figured I'd get a warning from one of the moderators as I figured something like this would belong in the TNA roster cuts/acquisition section.

I think that this may well be Scott Hall's last ride in a major wrestling organization. This really makes twice that Scott Hall has screwed TNA over and/or embarassed them. It's time for Scott Hall to just go away in my opinion. He's in his 50s and he's relied on friends and past accomplishments his entire time with TNA and has done nothing since coming back in January. He doesn't bring anything into TNA and TNA needs to trim some dead weight. Scott Hall is a good place to start.

The sad thing is, Scott Hall just can't perform like he used to. He can still talk on the mic, so maybe he could be brought in as a manager. There could be some interesting combinations. That is the only thing I can think of that he can still do. Sadly, he can't wrestle anymore, and the personal demons will most likely keep him off of the TNA roster

Can't say I'm surprised, or even that I'm that upset over it. As big of a Hall mark as I am, his age has truly affected his abilities in a way that his peers in guys like Nash has not, and coupled with his penchant to abuse alcohol to the point of belligerence it was a recipe for disaster, unfortunately.

Hard to say what will happen with the tag-titles – I suppose they could simply keep them on Young & Nash since they were running Freebird rules, but I guess we'll find that out this Thursday if it's covered on the show.

You knew it was coming eventually. He never stays long. I really don't care if he's gone or not. He was out of shape, and just kept into trouble, why does TNA even keep going back to him when all he does is get arrested,or no show events?

It is sad to say but i hope this was his last run in professional wrestling. I loved Scott Hall and loved Razor Ramon even more but now he is just living in the shadow of his former self. Hes good on a mic but slow and quite old looking in the ring. Whens the last time he used his finisher...i cant remember.

With that out of the way i think Nash should give it up too. Without Hall or Six Pac the band is going nowhere. I cant find anyone i know that actually cares about Eric Young and to be honest i dont either. Eric Young is a random guy who has entered himself into an although recreated none the less a version of the legendary wolf pack. He doesnt fit and simply never will. He could at least try and wear black and red like Nash and Hall but the guy comes out in green tights. hes a joke.

I wish both Hall and Nash all the luck but i wish they would give it up so fans could remember them for the former greatness and not there future failure.

Its unfortunate to see someone like Scott Hall have to go through all these things over and over. But do I feel sorry for him? HELL NO. Its absolutely no surprise he got fired from the wrestling business again for what seems to be the 17th time.

Ive always said this guy is another Jake Roberts. Someone who had youth, potential, had it all..succeeded and was mega-over with the fans. Just to shit all over everything because they cant control their alcohol and substance abuse.

From 2002 and on, when the E gave him another chance and fucked it up again, he's been nothing but a waste of human life. At least Jake Roberts tried to clean himself up a few times. Hall doesnt mind waking up next to a toilet every morning. Jeff Hardy should be watching this closely because this can be him in the near future.

Another one who seems to have thrown his career away because of hanging out too much with Hall is Sean Waltman. Here's a guy who would have been a major world title holder. Instead chose to buddy up with Hall, Hall mentored him well, in drugs and alcohol that is.

Scott Hall has now gone from 4 time Intercontinental champion to unemployed bum.

Kids, say no to drugs.

How is it even possible that Hall gets arrested and let go, yet Jeff Hardy who is still facing serious Drug charges is still in TNA, wait scratch that HIRED by TNA management knowing full well of his past issues with Drugs and he had FELONY Drug charges still pending? Talk about calling the Kettle black, let Scott Wrestle its alcohol at least it's legal. And don't give me some crap that Hardy doesn't do drugs yadda yadda yadda no one trully knows except for him, TNA management doesn't know either. You know who did know? WWE which is why he is no longer with them.

I hope it's his last run. This guy has NO value anymore to the company. Tell me: when is the last GOOD Scott Hall match you can remember? I can't think of one at all within the last 5 years off the top of my head. He's past his prime and has been living off of one invasion for over 15 years now. What does he have to offer now? If he wasn't getting into legal troubles like these, then ok I can live with him being around as his talking is still decent. But with this many problems, he simply doesn't need to be around a ring at this point, nor has he earned the right to be.

They should keep him for the manager/mouth piece roll, pay him less and no in ring work. Nobody cares about what he did, it's sad to see it happen but that's vintage Scott Hall. I accept him for who he is and so should TNA. TNA is a privately owned company and they don't have much of an image to protect. It's smart business to keep him around and it's already pretty much blown over.

If he was actually fired, this should be his last run. I am a HUGE Hall mark, always have been. He's probably one of my five or ten favorite wrestlers of all time, but it's over. He's 51, and he really looks it. His hard-living lifestyle has caught up with him big time. Too much alcohol, too many drugs, etc. As much as I love the guy, what has he brought to the table...in the last 8 years?

If you actually think about it, he shouldn't have even had this opportunity. The ONLY reason he got this chance, was because Hogan/Eazy-E took over. If they hadn't come in, I don't know anyone who would have taken a chance on this guy. It's over for Hall (if he's fired), and that almost saddens me. The guy has led a somewhat tragic adult life, ya know, minus being on tv almost every week.

Its sad. He did so well getting back into shape but he just couldn't stay away from the booze and trouble. Farewell to the bad guy forever most likely.

Honestly it's very good to hear because he shouldn't have been there in the first place. all hogan's clowns he brought with him are now gone.thank very much!

You said it, man. If this were any other sport, there is no way they would let Hardy wrestle. TNA has no integrity for hiring Jeff Hardy. The only reason they have Hardy but fired Hall is because Hardy sells tickets.
But as far as Hall goes, we all knew it was only a matter of time. When Hall came in, I was kinda hoping for another nWo-ish stable with Nash, Hogan, and Bischoff. But once I saw that it wasn't going to happen, I quickly lost interest in Hall. Hall has been given too many chances, but honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him back in TNA eventually.

Hall, Pac, Nasty Boys were good in the day. Since joining TNA they brought nothing much to the table, when they were brought in to boost ratings and push TNA talents, which didn't happen, as either they didn't wrestle due to lame excuses or wouldn't take bumps. So Hall is gone OK, he wasn't helping. Nash might be past his prime, but he helps to create stars with anyone partnered with him. TNA are using Nash to give E.Y. the Nash rub, E.Y. has improved since he dropped the Super Eric gimmick. Due to this Nash will be kept as he considered credible wrestler because he a smart wrestler and they know it.

Not saying I'm against Scott Hall, but I have to say about damn time. You know the saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." This is the second time he screwed up for TNA. Also, no one should have to be wrestling at the age of 50 plus if they didn't have their head up there you know what while in their glory days.

Guys like Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker are great, but when it comes time to hang up the boots, keep them hung up. Yeah, coming to the show for a special appearance is great, love to see the older stars like Roddy Piper, which in my opinion is a treat, but you should have to make it a career at that age.

Hulk Hogan should've brought Scott Hall back with a different job other than wrestling. He's in his 50's, having screwed TNA over before for no showing events, and was messed up on drugs. It was only a matter of time before he screwed up again.

Scott Hall isn't a big loss to the company. Big names from 10-15 years ago aren't going to bring you that much ratings. Just take a look at the Nasty Boys. Good marketing, believable and good story lines that aren't remakes of old WWE story lines, fire Russo, and making future starts will get you better ratings and might actually pose a threat to WWE.

Back to Scott Hall, I liked him in early WWE as Razor Ramon and his match with Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Title was great, but his best days are behind him.

I've always liked Hall, but I do think this is a good move by TNA. Hall really hasn't been a major player in pro wrestling for a VERY long time, and it's not like he can wrestle a decent match anymore or cut a good promo. I don't want to see Flair wrestle anymore, but the the Nature Boy can still tear it up on the mic at his age. Hall is badly out of shape, and you can clearly see it.

This is kind of bittersweet because you just know this is Hall's last run with a major wrestling promotion. He might might make a couple of indy appearances here and there, but his days in TNA or WWE are most likely done. Hall's mystique wore off a long time ago. The last time he was any where near entertaining was during the NWO invasion in WWE. Other than that, he hasn't brought anything to the table in a long time. I just hope Hall can get his life together, because that's what's most important.

I don't think anyone is surprised by this actually I think more people are surprised it took this long. I'm sure at 51 and with his track record this was his final chance with TNA. There's no way WWE will ever rehire him. So I definitely think this is the last time we see of Scott Hall in a top wrestling company. He probably will get indy bookings I'm sure he's broke or near broke.

I don't know about anyone else. but should we really be surprised by this? I agree that Hall was good at one point and I even acknowledge that The Outsiders were one of the best tag teams ever in pro wrestling. But Scott Hall has too much baggage over the last few years. Even when both Hall and Waltman were signed, the crosshairs were still on them. Neither have too good of a track record over the years. I agree with what's been said that it could be Hall's last run with a major promotion and that while Hall and Pac were good back in the days, it is about time and TNA did in fact make the right call.

Of course Scott Hall was fired, they had to make room on the roster for the "new blood" to be brought in like Tommy Dreamer :)

All joking aside, it's a shame about Scott Hall, he was one of my favorite wrestlers back in the Razor Ramon days and the early Monday Night War days. But safe to say he's gone for good this time, there's no reason to risk anything for him these days. He's old. He's fat. He can barely talk on the mic anymore. He brings nothing of substance to the table anymore except risk and embarrassment.

So long, Chico. Hopefully he can get clean and stay clean, not because of his wrestling career, but for the sake of his health, his life, and his family. I really don't want to be reading another sad headline regarding a tragic end for yet another former pro wrestler.

His recent run, he was doing so well...now that it's over AGAIN...i think he shouldn't be brought back now...there is just no point..and they might as well tell Syxx to forget coming back..You can officially say the Band is over and Nash and Young can carry on their on-going rivalry....

Scott Hall, he's in his 50's now..why can't this guy let wrestling go...he might as well just chill now..or go back to JCW...

Well to be honest, Hall was actually starting to get more and more in shape over the past few months. From what could be displayed on television, he seemed to be taking this run a lot more seriously than he did his last few, so maybe he will get another chance.

Not to mention, they've got Hardy on TNA and he's got trial coming up. Why can't they have Hall as well?
