Satelitte Radio

Throwing a tantrum
It became a great invention a few years ago. People pay for a subscription and get music channels where they can listen to anywhere, as long as the have an XM/Sirius or whatever else kind of radio.

I had it and I must say. I hate it. It was a pain to keep in my holder, most of the channels played repetitive boring music. I much preferred the iPod hook up in the car. Who has had a Satellite radio and what did you think of it?

I don't tend to listen to music on the radio too often. I know what I like and I but and/or download those artists.

I tend to listen to news or sports talk, and I must say that for these reasons, XM is outstanding. There are fifty channels that I would listen to if I listened to more than three. :lmao:

I listen to Fox News Radio, ESPN radio, and Fox Sports Radio. As I enjoy the road trip, satellite radio has been invaluable to me. Furthermore, my local ESPN affiliate plays interminable local shows where idiots call and talk about the Cowboys. I couldn't care less about the Cowboys or their Miller Lite fueled idiot fans in South Texas. Seriously, these people think they are going 16-0. Avoiding these numbskulls is worth the monthly fee.

I have one at work, and honestly, I LOVE IT TO PIECES!!! Especially the '90's on 9 (Sirius). I mean how often does a guy get to hear masterpieces like " I wanna Sex You Up", on a somewhat regular basis? Just listening to satellite radio at work gives me the warm and fuzzies, taking me back to a simpler time. I've also heard the sports and talk are great, but I can't really judge them,as that's not available on our subscription. But, yeah, I advocate the listening to satellite radio. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot something. With satellite, you don't have to worry about the big bad FCC ruining your fun with censorship.
