From my understanding, the chick who plays Saeed is very hot. Has amazing wrestling ability, like par to Trish Stratus wrestling ability. So why are they making her play Kong's lackey? They have a great wrestling talent. The Daizee Haze vs. Raisha Saaed match from the 5/1 Impact managed to draw more viewers than the show's main event match, which featured all three headliners for the Sacrifice pay-per-view no less. The Haze vs. Saeed match drew a 1.10 rating. The main event later in the show featuring Joe & Angle vs. Steiner & Williams drew a 0.99 rating. The match also lost 154,000 viewers, the biggest tune out during the show. But if anyone remembers the Trish vs Lita fued, it was pretty high up there on the card. I mean, Lita over shadowed the Hardy's when she stepped out into the spotlight, and Trish Christian//Edge.

As well as I've always enjoyed TNA's booking when it comes to women. They focus on hot chicks, manbearpig looking chicks (kong), anyone with wrestling talent. So, TNA could make use of Saeed immensely. The beautiful people are very nicely booked, as is Kong. I don't see why Saeed would be any diffrent.

Her usual in ring name is Cheerleader Melissa, and in my opinion she's the best women's wrestler in the world, and one of my favourite wrestlers in the world, male or female. Unfortunately there's no Youtube vids to do her justice.
I fell in love with her when I saw match between her and Wesna when I was watching Chick Fight, back in the days when there was an indy wrestling channel on Sky. And she's amazing. She chain wrestled, locked in submissions, showed speed and power and was a complete bitch as a heel. Her usual finisher is like Homicide's 'Gringo Killa' except it looks much more brutal when she does it. And the match ended in a 60 minutes draw, showing she has stamina as well.
I've been saying for years that TNA's worst misuse of talent is keeping Melissa as Saeed. I'm really hoping she breaks free from Kong and has a lengthy feud with her. I've seen from her indy work that she and Kong have great matches.
While I would love TNA to get her out there as Cheerleader Melissa, I don't think it's gonna happen. I think as long as Kong is there, Saeed will be there to "control" her or whatever. Melissa being kept as Saeed is one of the main reasons I hate TNA.

And yeah, she's pretty hot.

I swear sometimes I wonder how TNA has gotten so far. How it has managed to get beyond the realms ECW reached, and especially how it has surpassed ROH. But unfortunately, I know the answer already.

I know. She's actually amazing. But I guess Taylor wild will get more desperate teenage boys watching with her 'good girl' beauty while Melissa has the 'total bitch that you wanna do' beauty. For some reason, the former is more popular among the aforementioned desperate teens.
Actually I find it ironic that a wrestler with a cheerleader gimmick is a wrestler with great skill and talent and not just eye candy... Maybe thats what she was aiming for... If that's true then I lover her even more!

Cause Vince Russo is trying to recapture his former glory by using characters that would've fit right in during the attitude era and writing angles for them that would've fit right in during the attitude era. Melissa's gimmick is more traditional despite how innovative she is in the ring.

I don't know how the hell that dumb fuck Vince Russo would put a beautiful creature like that with a berka over her face as she is not only great in the ring, but she is really really good to look at as well. Sometimes I wonder how TNA got this far despite making stupid decisions like this. All I gotta say is that I hope Cheerleader Melissa turns on Kong soon & then TNA will hopefully let her showcase more of her great in ring work in the process.

I have to agree, if that was truly her aim with the ring name, that is rather ingenious.

I used to dig the Saeed gimmick. It was a great way to get heel heat. Kong was already a monster. The last thing she needed was backup. So giving her some made her seem that much more dangerous. The problem was when they gave her too much backup. The Kongtourage? That was silly beyond belief. It's no surprise that it didn't last long.

Now is the perfect time to have Saeed attack Kong and reveal herself as Melissa. Kong has been champion for far too long (her reigns as Knockout Champ where want Joe's reign as World Champ should have been) so having her win the title back now would be a step in the wrong direction. The Beautiful People are over like crazy so the title should stay with them for quite some time. Sojournor won a title shot so she can feud with Love for the title. Meanwhile we can have Melissa vs. Kong.

So while I think Saeed might turn on Kong at Sacrifice I don't think she'll join the Beautiful People. She'll just be another heel who can have a few PPV matches with Kong. Saeed revealing herself as Melissa along with Daffney finally being herself will give the division the shot in the arm that it needs. See what happens when you just let wrestlers have the gimmicks that are most natural to them instead of forcing them to be what they're not?

Forget turning her heel I say make her a face. The Knockout division has needed a 'face' of the division since Gail Kim left. Let's face it Taylor Wilde while okay isn't cutting it. I saw have Kong turn on Saeed maybe blaming her for losing. You can have an enraged Kong injure Saeed and either have Saeed return for revenge or have Melissa come on as herself (possible new gimick since a cheerleader seems so GLOWish).

She can rip apart a crowd and her moves are just better suited for a heel since they're more brutal than they are flashy or quick. And she just likes destroying her opponents.

If she does break away from Kong, I'd want her in her cheerleader gimmick, because she does it so well. But I wouldn't be totally opposed to seeing her as herself, like she was in Japan. She wore all black clothes, including black leather pants. She looked good to say the least.

Personally, i don't really care if she comes in with the chearleader gimmick nor as a heel or face. I just don't think she has been very effective in the Saeed gimmick at all.

Of course she hasn't been effective in the Saeed gimmick. What talented wrestler has ever been effective as someone's bitch who occasionally steps into the ring to get squashed by people less talented? Let alone one who is made cover up her whole body and is given no real mic time and therefore can't win fans through her charisma?

She's hasn't been given decent length matches, she hasn't been given a chance to show how talented she is, she hasn't been given a title shot, she hasn't been given a chance to work outside Kong's large shadow.. Hell, she hasn't even been given a chance to show her face.

The only way TNA will ever be using her properly is if she's wrestling as Melissa and she's equal to the other Knockout division wrestlers in the eyes of the creative team.

And herein lies the difference between the WWE and TNA. There are probably equal amount of good female workers in each company (get over it TNA marks, it's true), but the difference is the WWE recognizes when people need work. Take Trish Stratus. She wasn't the greatest wrestler right off the bat, so she managed and did other things until her work was ready to be showcased on TV. That is the formula. Now, I don't know much about this Cheerleader Melissa, but I do know I disagree with the masses and I don't think she's attractive. I'm sorry, but trashy looking is NOT attractive. However, word is that she can work, but she does not. Instead, we see the "beautiful people" who are awful workers that couldn't cut it with the WWE dominating the scene.

If this girl is as good as people say, I would think her look calls for her to be a heel, which is perfect since Kong is turning face. Perhaps a simple story where she's tired or "being something she's not" and turns on her mentor, becoming a normal bitch named Melissa if they so choose to use her real name. The other option is to have her be taken out and get hurt and then just debut Melissa as a totally different person from Saeed.

After reading this post yesterday I decided to look into melissa and I too have now become a fan, the woman is fantastic!.
I don't know what TNA were thinking covering her up, she needs to get out of TNA right away or at least lose the stupid character she's been given so she can do what she does best.
