S.H.I.E.L.D TV Series finds it's lead

Not really surprised, Coulson was doing too great a job in the movies for them to just kill him off and not bring him back for the next set of Marvel movies/shows. As of now he's set to be the main character in next fall's ABC SHIELD show. The question still remains is this a prequel to the Avengers movie or will they have some concocted explanation for Agent Coulson being brought back to life, or maybe he was never dead to begin with.

There's no way Coulson's dead. I honestly think he wasn't killed off in the movie, but it was used to motivate before the final battle.

This should be spectacular, I cannot wait.

I'd venture to say it'll be a prequel, at least to start with. Maybe build to the story of the Avengers from the S.H.I.E.L.D. end of things in the first season and go fom there.
