Getting Noticed By Management
The Road Warriors.. and a Hardcore Icon who never worked for Vince McMahon ..Abdullah the Butcher!

I am okay with that. but what about Arn Anderson?

So far HBK and Hacksaw Jim Duggan are the one ones that have been announced officially.

Dusty will induct the Road Warriors

Terry Funk will induct Abdullah

I'd prefer to see Arn Anderson get the respect he deserves. Its been a long time coming, he was such a tough wrestler and in the Four Horsemen days was the one that stood out alongside Ric Flair. He's one of my favourite "old-school" wrestlers, his spinebuster was the shit!

Also, if you watched the Royal Rumble, Chris Masters hit an absolute perfect Spinebuster on someone during the match, it was Anderson that taught him the way to hit it exactly as Arn did.

True legend, deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I agree.. Arn derserves to be in there, as does Tully Blanchard.

One thing that urks me tho is Abdullah the Butcher DESERVES to be in the Hall of fame too... do not get me wrong.

However he never worked for Vince.. Ever.

You have other people that DID work for vince still not in the hall of fame, Macho man, Warrior, Sid Vicious, Lex Luger, DDP, Goldberg, Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, etc etc..

True their run may not have been great WITH Vince as they were in other federations but at least they worked for him. Abdullah even though he was a global superstar in the 70-80's and early 90's never worked for Vince.. and thus why he would be passed over for people that actually worked for Vince doesn't make much sense to me.

I mean are we going to get Nikita Koloff & Magnum TA in the hall of fame in 2012 too? They never worked for Vince either.

All that being said Abdullah was a superstar in his day, helped WCW and ECW, New Japan, NWA, and other territories.. he also forked Hogan too :) he deserves to be in the hall of fame.. but I would have like to seen others go in before him.

I agree they need Arn and Tully in there. As well as the other names listed.

However, I would love to see Nikita and Magnum there too. Dayum, that would rock.

Seriously, though, the company name is WWE, but let's not forget he owns the rights to the other companies as well. So, technically, since, say, WCW is a part of, and technically a subsidiary of, WWE, it stands to reason that anybody that was in said Federation could be inducted. That's my take on it.

WCW was a stand alone company, but now the entity rests its head under the WWE banner. For that reason I would say that anybody from there is fair game as well as any of the other names he bought out and owns said rights to even if they never wrestled under the official "WWF/E" banner.

It's too bad Flair is with TNA right now, if he weren't they could have him come out and induct the rest of the original Four Horsemen (Ole, Arn, Tully, & what the hell even JJ Dillon), I think it would just be fitting that they be the first Stable to be inducted into the HoF

That would be a great way to centre next years hall of fame. Lets hope flair leaves TNA soon and it ends up happening.
