Well...Damn. Both teams are probably among the most under-rated ever. Arn and Tully are just damn good, and the Headshrinkers just worked. I don't know why. They just did. In a wrestling match, I'm pretty sure Arn wins this with his eyes closed, but in a tag team contest, it could really go either way.

I'll vote for the Brain Busters, simply because Arn and Tully are both better parts than Fatu and Samu. It'll be a hell of a match, but this ends with Arn scoring the pin.

Arn and Tully are one of (if not THE) most underratted tag teams in the history of pro-wrestling. As singles competitors, they were beasts. But they tagged a lot in WCW in the Horsemen before they came to the WWE and they were a dominant force. Chock-full of technical skill, brains, and brute force, these guys are going to out-think and out-wrestle the unpredictable and powerful Headshrinkers and get the victory here.

Damn. Bad match-up for the Headshrinkers, who I've always been very fond of. They had some great matches with teams like the Steiners, and I'd probably rank them at the very top of the totem pole of Samoan tag teams. However, they're facing Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, AKA one of the greatest tag teams ever. Easy for for the Brain Busters here.

Damn. The Shrinkers were my pick but I have to go with the Busters here. What you have in the Headshrinkers are big power guys that no sell all of the offense that a team dishes out. The Busters beat the LOD, who are the undisputed masters of that strategy. I know this is a short reason, but when you can beat the best of all time at something, beating a team that's not as good at it shouldn't be an issue.

Very similar teams here. Both are big and tough and scary. Regardless of their opponents, they will put up a heck of a fight. The major difference is thet the Busters were known for being in the Four Horseman, the greatest group in the history or pro wrestling while the Shrinkers were known for being Samoan. Advantage Busters.

Hey guys, don't forget, The Headshrinkers completely no-sell any move which hits their head... So Piledrivers, brainbusters, ddts and the like would be ineffective...

This is an easy decision. Despite the hard heads of the Headshrinkers, it's not like they need to be knocked cold for a whole lot of time. Arn and Tully specialize in the art of mobilizing one member and having the other not get in most of the match. Wear down one, other one comes in, Busters weather the storm, use a foreign object on the weaker one to get the pin and the victory. Vintage Horseman and a vintage win for the Brainbusters.

Quite frankily, the Brainbusters will win. The Headshrinkers were such a great tag team, but the Brainbusters are simply that much better. Their in-ring skills are simply phenominal together & are one of the teams that are considered to be the epitome of professional tag team wrestling due to their work as a unit. They have been together for quite a while & never disappointed.

Great match-up, which sadly put's an early end to The Headshrinkers. Against most other teams, I'd have voted them through to the next round, because they kind of had that Arn/Tully formula of completely dismantling an opponents body part until they were worn out, except they were a little more clumbsier albeit more ferocious. The original team of Samu and Fatu, especially in Puerto Rico and WCCW were one of the greatest heel tag-teams I've ever seen perform. But to be quite honest, Anderson and Blanchard are among the elite of tag-teams and easily rank in the top three of all-time for me. Nobody could wear down opponents in more convincing and believable ways than Anderson, and Tully is far from a slouch himself.

I've always been of the belief that if Anderson had enough time to shine as a singles star, he would have reached Harley Race/Ric Flair legenday status, because he was just too damn good in the ring, and he was the best promo cutter in the business when he was on his game. Though I guess this is another debate for another time.

Brain Busters to win the entire thing.

This would be a fun match. The Headshrinkers are immune to damage to their craniums. While the Brainbusters are the most underrated team in my mind and can go with anyone. I still think they pick up the victory here. A sneaky win with some tights pulling or something will go down. Give me Double A and Tully.
