I don't know much about know much about the Headshrinkers other than that they were Samoan and they were nasty. They had some decent success as a tag team, but nothing spectacular. Probably aren't going to do especially much in this tourney.

However, I do know the other team consists of the waste of space commonly known as Shelton Benjamin and a man who had a stupid Vampire gimmick. They couldn't beat anyone in this tourney, not even Godfather and Chyna.

The Samoans win.

Blood and Gold is an epic fail of major proportions.

The Headshrinkers were a real team. Maybe they weren't the most successful team, but they're a proper team and they don't include Shelton Benjamin.

The Headshrinkers were my automatic pick and they win here. They're a team that I've always liked. They're just big and dominant with all kinds of power. They worked very well together and rather easily won the tag titles in 1995. They're a gimmick team, but they're a damn good one. Also, their opponents help as much as anything, as they might be the worst combination ever. What could they do? There's just no wya I see the Samoans losing.

Headshrinkers came together in a time of gimmicky tag teams for the most part. And they were scary. I was younger when they started squeezing people's heads and giving massive headbutts, and they worked to scare me. Against someone I did not like, and someone who I have no strong feelings for. Its been well over 10 years since the headshrinkers left, and I still care a lot more about them then I do for Shelton, who is still wrestling, and Gangrel... who is making porn?

Shelton is my guy and if this was him and Haas I'd probably vote them through. But I really can't see Shelton and Gangrel having any chemistry whatsoever. Headshrinkers were a good tag team and they have Afa on the outside and he is a little messed up in the head. He'll play a role in the way, as Shelton and Gangrel fall victims to the nasty Samoans.

Have to give my vote here to the Headshrinkers. Like KB I've long been a fan of them, and they were easily one of the best things going on in the WWF during that very, very dismal time in the company. They were one of the few highlights of the WWF in 1993-94, so they'd probably get my vote based on that alone. That, and they're facing a team with fucking Gangrel. I love Shelton Benjamin to death, but Gangrel is nothing. Less than nothing.

Headshrinkers pick up the win here.

I can only analyse the team of Gangrel & Shelton Benjamin to say that they will lose. Benjamin has the skills to get by in the WWE rules but his partner is much better at somewhere such as the ECW extreme rules territory. Benjamin cannot carry any team & needs a partner with something to back up on, which Gangrel hasn't got.

The Headshrinkers will win this as they have some tag team experience & know each other fairly well to take this really badly randomised team.

That, and they're facing a team with fucking Gangrel. I love Shelton Benjamin to death, but Gangrel is nothing. Less than nothing.

Flip this around, and you have my exact sentiments. I like Gangrel, but can't stand Shelton Benjamin aka Pyrite (look it up kiddies).

Pit them against The Headshrinkers, one of the best tag teams of the last 2 decades, and you have an instant loss. They may get a few good spots in, and the build to the match will have absolutely no mic work, but it would be fun to watch. Still, Headshrinkers FTW

I used to love the Brood, seriously fucking loved it. But if we're honest, there really isn't an argument for Shelton and Gangrel here. They are outpowered and outmatched. Rikishi was way better in this group than when he was fat, and very agile for a fat man. I think this would be a very decisive win for the Headshrinkers.

What did the brood really ever do that influenced the entire world of Tag Team wrestling? Nothing, absolutely nothing. The Headshrinkers were influential in their styles, and they were sucessful in what they did. Something the Brood wasn't, they weren't sucessful as a team. Whereas the Headshrinkers held 9 World Tag Team titles throughout their career, The brood? Never held the World Tag Titles, ever. So how are you going to vote for them, and justify it? You're not.

This is a simple case of established vs. what the Deuces is Wild. Benjamin and Gangrel were good performers, but when it comes to this Tournament and Tag Team Wrestling in general, the Headshrinkers get the nod. I don’t think they will make it past another established Team, but they will get past most of the Wildcard Alliances.
