Ric Flair names his 2015 Four Horsemen.

Dolph Ziggler
The Miz
Seth Rollins
Cesaro

I may or may not agree with his choices, but Ric Flair should do this every year. Picking the "new Horsemen" is always a fun and endless debate. As of right now, I would go with five, instead of the traditional 4, and I'd even add a woman, being that it's 2015.

The Prime Time Players, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young - repackage them as actual Prime Time Players in the game. They are currently the number one Tag Team in this industry. Right now, they literally are "millions of dollars, millions of dollars".

John Cena - I know what you're thinking. Why would John Cena be in a 2015 incarnation of the Horsemen. That's probably what people thought in December 1989, with Sting joining the Four Horsemen. Even if they keep him as a member for a short period of time, and then maybe kick him out, just like Sting, it would benefit the other members to team with him, and subsequently feud with the Franchise / Face of the WWE. I'd kick him out as soon as he drops the Old Glory Belt.

Ryback - Put a suit on him and he's instantly the enforcer of this new group. He doesn't have to say much, but it's good that know that he can hold his own on the mic. With him on the team, they could virtually be unstoppable.

Seth Rollins - There is nothing to be said that hasn't already been about the best Wrestler in the World today. He might not be in my top 20 favorites of all time, but to be the Champ, WOOOO, you gotta beat the Champion. Who better to lead the new Horsemen than the reigning, defending, WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Nikki Bella - Face it, whether you love her or hate her, she's the best thing going today, in the WWE Divas division I didn't say WWE Women's division, I specifically and purposely said Divas division). She is the John Cena of the Divas, who happens to be with John Cena...interesting. As soon as Charlotte takes the Butterfly Belt away from her, and she will, they could do a double turn. They could even do it at the same show that Cena drops the Red, White, and Blue Belt.

There you have it, now have at it.

Flair's version is absolutely perfect to me, those are EXACTLY who I would pick for a new version of the Horsemen. Dolph Ziggler would be WWE World Heavyweight Champion, The Miz would be Intercontinental Champion, and Seth Rollins & Cesaro would be the "speed & strength" type of WWE Tag Team Champions.

Ive mentioned the idea of a new horsemen before and for me the four would be

Cody Rhodes
Curtis Axel
The Miz
Dolph Ziggler

cody as the main man would be epic and fits brilliantly with the history of the group. axel too has family ties while miz has links to flair. it would be the perfect thing to push cody to the top of the card and an eventual heel cody vs face dolph split would be great

mine would be fliar in the jj Dillon role
along with cody and Curtis axel flair worked with both there dads he knows them a returning dh smith and bobby roode as the main eventer

Dolph Ziggler
The Miz
Seth Rollins
Cesaro

Interesting choices, to be sure. Still, having a performer placed in a group sublimates individual personalities.

In the case of Cesaro, it could be a mistake to have him in there. He's finally operating on his own....and appears to be making headway. He's talking better than ever, looking sharp as he parades down the aisle in his snazzy outfit.....and accenting what he does best in the ring; those power moves he performs so well. Why shove him back to the pack by making him one of four? He's never going to get mic time while being overshadowed by Rollins and Miz.

As for Miz, he's a solo act if ever there was one......but when he's working with someone else, he leads, not follows. I suppose he could play second fiddle to Rollins if they apportion mic time appropriately, but given Seth's overall standing with the company, I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Mizanin didn't enjoy this group very much.

Dolph Ziggler? Sure, put him in there. After being supported by people like Vickie Guerrero and Lana, Dolph's presence has been proven to be non-dynamic enough to allow him to work as a subordinate. Let him to play a human pinball as he caroms off ringposts all over the WWE Universe.

Seth Rollins
? Well, a 4 Horseman schtick would essentially put him right back in charge of a group of flunkies who are there chiefly to interfere on his behalf and save his bony ass. Sound familiar?

I would love to see a new Four Horsemen with Flair in a manager role, Guys like Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn reuniting as a tag team sort of like the Tully and Arn position would be perfect, Think all these guys are lacking direction and all would benefit so much from having a guy like Flair manage them as a new horsemen group.

Flairs horsemen work. Really good choices. I don't see Ziggler as a horsemen tho. I'd love to see a horsemen stable built around Seth Rollins with Cesaro, Miz, and Kevin Owens. When Tyson Kidd returns they kick out Miz and give Kidd the spot, Cesaro/Kidd tag become the dominating tag team of the E.

Transitioning Miz to Kidd:
Cesaro and Miz occasionally tag up. Miz takes a few pins in tag matches. Kidd returns as a face and calls out Cesaro for tagging with someone else. Kidd/Cesaro have a 30 minute draw on ppv. Cesaro turns on Miz during a tag match and Horsemen beat down Miz. Cesaro grabs the mic and says Miz couldn't carry his weight tagging with him and being a horsemen. They introduce the newest Horsemen and Cesaros once again tag partner: Tyson Kidd.

They should save Flair managing a 4 Horseman group for when Rhonda Rousey gets more active in the WWE.

Rousey's already a part of the Four Horsewomen of Women's MMA. The storyline is ready made, just add water. This way they can do a Kill Bill style revenge angle with Rousey as The Bride and Flair as Bill.

Flair could start managing PCB. When Charlotte challenges for the Divas title, Rousey interferes on her behalf and become's PCB's enforcer. This event forms the Four Horsewomen in the WWE.

This way Rousey can get around the UFC's restrictions b/c she's not "competing" in any matches but still be a major part of the Divas division. Also, Rousey can get the Lesnar treatment and maintain her special attraction appeal with rare appearances.

After Charlotte's title win, Ric Flair turns out to be a total Rousey mark and Rousey loves the attention from Flair.

Charlotte starts to get jealous. Eventually, a miscommunication between Rousey and Charlotte causes Charlotte to lose her title to a non-PCB diva, probably Sasha.

There's tension within the Four Horsewoman b/c no one can dethrone the new champ, while Rousey is isolated from PCB b/c she's still dominating Women's MMA. Until one Monday Night Raw...

Raws opens up by announcing Rhonda Rousey will challenge for the Divas title in main event on free TV! But mid-show, Rousey is injured b/c someone crashed into her with one of those golf carts backstage. Cue the drama b/c of the cancelled main event and what will happen to Rhonda's MMA career?

Rousey goes back to UFC, until Dana White relents and let's Rousey wrestle for the WWE on a regular basis.

Turns out Ric Flair and Charlotte hired a hitman to take out Rousey. And Rousey sees the a video of PCB celebrating the night she was injured.

The screen tints red and we zoom in on Rousey's angry face with the wee-oh-wee-oh in the background.

Rousey's titantron intro now opens with a list with 4 names. Paige, Charlotte, Becky, and Flair. One by one, she takes out the former members of the Four Horsewomen.

Through a series of backstage vignettes and mid match run-ins, Rousey injures Becky and Paige. Rousey's titantron is updated with two names being crossed off.

By now, Charlotte, still managed by her father, will have regained the Divas title and calls the shots in the Divas division like when HHH was the WWE champion.

At whatever PPV Rhonda gets her title shot at, Charlotte forces Rhonda into a battle royal against all the Divas before their match.

Of course, Rousey is wearing an all yellow jumpsuit/all yellow ring gear and dominates the battle royal.

A now tired and battle weary Rousey faces Charlotte for the Divas title.

Ref gets knocked out at the end and Flair tries to interfere to help Charlotte. Rousey hits Flair with a Heart Punch. Flair takes five steps and Flair flops to the ground.

Rousey hits her finisher and is the new Divas champion! Rousey's titantron during the celebration shows the last two names being crossed off.

I think a new incarnation of the 4 Horsemen could definitely work. There's history and there's several HOF's that could be used. Ric Flair in the JJ Dillon role would fit perfectly. Now as to my choices:

Randy Orton - He's the perfect leader for a new incarnation with his ties to Flair and he has the pedigree with 12 World Championships.

Curtis Axel & Damien Sandow - These guys could be a talented team. I would have Axel use the PerfectPlex as a finisher and Larry The Axe's finisher as a signature move along with AA's Brainbuster. Sandow can speak as the former intellectual savior of the masses and could also help carry the load in the ring.

Charlotte - Being an heiress to the Horsemen throne, having a female round out the new horsemen would make this incarnation different and innovative from previous rosters.

This way the 4 Horsemen capture the WWE WHC, the WWE World Tagteam Championships, and the Divas title.

Seth Rollins
Dolph Ziggler
Kevin Owens
Cesaro

Seth Rollins is your leader of course. He's the top heel in the company, a great worker that isn't afraid to show cowardice, and he can cut a solid heel promo. Dolph Ziggler is your midcard level guy, he has the cocky attitude thay fits the horsemen mold, and I think he would be a good heel alongside Rollins. Cesaro and Owens are like Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. They're your bigger, stronger guys, the enforcers of the group. They could work as a tag-team or also get into the IC/US Title picture. Plus Cesaro looks sick in a suit.

These four guys could easily come together from a storyline perspective as well. Right now Rollins is feuding with the top babyface Cena, who is trying to tie Flair's World Title record. So have Flair cut a promo saying that he respects Cena and hopes that he will one day see Cena stand alongside him as the greatest champion of all time. Obviously this is a set up to a swerve, when Flair screws Cena and aligns with Rollins. Cesaro and Owens are currently feuding, so after they beat the hell out of each in other in what will definitely be an excellent match they could develop a mutual respect, eventually leading to them teaming up. When Cena confronts Rollins on Raw or maybe has a rematch, Cesaro and Owens come out and destroy him, aligning with Rollins/Flair. It makes sense given Cena's recent history with those guys. Finally Ziggler could break up with Lana and turn heel, becoming a playboy womanizer and joining the Horsemen, rounding out the group.

Now you have a new heel faction established and a ready made feud with the top babyface.

For me my 2015 Four Horsemen would be:

Seth Rollins (Ric Flair of the group) (Leader/Main Event)
Kevin Owens (Arn Anderson of the group) (Enforcer/Tag Team Specialist)
The Miz (Tully Blanchard of the group) (Upper Midcard Guy)
Cesaro (Ole Anderson of the group) (Tag Team Specialist)

After SummerSlam, I’m changing 3 of my picks. I’m switching John Cena and the Prime Time Players to the New Day. There is no need to have John Cena join the new Horsemen, only to be turned on, similar to Sting’s Horsemen run. There is no need to turn the Prime Time Players when the New Day is already Heel. Plus after seeing the picture of WWE World Heavyweight / United States Champion, Seth Rollins, with the WWE World Tag Team Champions, the New Day, it seems fitting. Adding Ryback and Nikki Bella would still work, in my opinion.

Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, and Cesaro.

Rollins is the #1 heel company. He has spectacular in-ring and promo skills. He's easily the best thing going in WWE today.

Ziggler is the cocky heel. "I'm better than you, and I prove it in this ring every night."

Owens and Cesaro are the enforcers/security of the group. They could even form a tag team.

This is probably not going to happen. Not sure it would work if it did. Anyways, this is an interesting and great idea and a fun discussion topic.

Rollins, Ziggler, Owens and Cesaro are probably the best New Horsemen that I have seen assembled here and I will tell you why

Rollins he has all the makings of a young Nature Boy in the sense of Rollins having that it factor in terms of charisma, all around wrestling ability but also having the attitude and the swagger to pull it off

Ziggler would be the Tully Blanchard of the group in the sense of being the wrestler that can not only wrestle but that he can steal the show but also has the pretty boy cocky attitude that Tully had way back when but also making it look great to be bad which is what Tully was all about

Owens of course would be the Arn Anderson of the group in the sense of also being the muscle he would also be Rollins' right hand man much like how Arn was but also Owens could pull off being the Arn of this 2015 group but also he has the charisma, the attitude but also he can talk much like how Arn used to

Cesaro being the Ole Anderson of the group in the sense of being just as much of muscle as another one of the group's enforcers much like how Ole was but in the sense of him forming a tag team with Owens they would be unstoppable

And with Flair in their corner as the J.J. Dillon of the group, this new Horsemen group would essentially be unstoppable

Hm....

Cesaro as arn anderson

I dont know if its the Miz or Dolph as Flair.
While Miz acts more like flair on camera, Ziggler is much more fun to watch overall.

Rollins As Ole Anderson. Their jawlines look very similar.Good wrestlers.

And... Jack Swagger for Tully.

What a fucking insult to the real 4H. There is only 1 4H: Tully, Naitch, Arn and Ole. I'm pissed Ric pissed all over the 4H legacy with this, and that yall
encourage it.

They all need to return to sabotage cena's attempts at #16.

If you want to get technical, there were 44 “real” Horsemen. Just to push it down further, one of the originals couldn’t even make the cut into the Hall Of Fame. The so called “Legacy” of the Horsemen is based off of a team of Champions protecting the World Champion, which is what most of us are basing our selections on. You have a great idea in that they should all return to stop John Cena from breaking Ric Flair’s record, however, if you were really a fan of Flair and the Horsemen, you would know that his actual number of World Championship Title reigns exceeds 16.

Now go $#!+ on your own thread, if you don’t want to contribute in mine.

Bear in mind everyone this is just a bit of a fun discussion and not a serious debate or anything...no one is saying the WWE should be booking a new four horsemen stable.

Personally I would go

Rollins (as the flair or main event guy)
Ziggler (solid mid card guy)
Ryback and Cesaro (as the enforcers or tag team)

Not the biggest Ryback fan but if this actually happened, I don't think I would want to see Owens involved, only because I think he's great on his own

Look at this collection of Champions!!

The only missing pieces to this golden puzzle is the Big Guy and the Best Diva today.

Well then we need to somehow make the World Wrestling Federation recognize Flair's other title reigns.

It will be a sad day if cena ties or surpasses him.

Finally!! Something we can agree on!! I think I count 22 World Championship Title reigns for the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. How many do you count??

Cesaro - The Enforcer of the group
Dolph Ziggler - The head of the group/mouthpiece
Damien Sandow - Fundamentally sound and can speak
Jack Swagger - Decent size, easily replaceable and could tag with Sandow.

Cesaro & Ziggler are a lock, one is easily the enforcer while the other has the mouth & attitude to run the show. The last two can be interchangeable, the tag team of the Horsemen was always a swinging door to an extent. Sandow does deserve a place in the equation, even if he has been used as comedic fodder for the WWE for awhile. Swagger has the size and would need to something to do, he would almost be like a Sid Vicious for the team, but better technically in the ring.
