My uncle passed away today, and I just want you all to keep my aunt and my cousins in your thoughts. He is the father of my cousin who passed in September. The family has been through a lot in the past few months, and I know they need as much support as possible. Unfortunatly, they live in Florida and it is a little difficult for me to visit, and because school is just picking up, I doubt I can go to his funeral either.

Sorry to hear that, TM. As for the funeral, I'm sure your school would allow you some time to travel to Florida, in order to grieve with your family. They should have a form or something to fill out.

I'm sorry to hear it. I know when I was in school in Florida gives you like a week off if you give them some kind of proof such as a funeral notice or a notice of death from the obituaries of the paper. If you don't mind me asking what part of Florida are the from? Again, sorry to hear this.

Thanks mates. I tried to apply for an emergency passport, but I couldn't get it until later in the week, funeral is on Tuesday. My mom is going however to support her sister.
