Renee Young's Star On The Rise

YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!
Since signing with WWE a little less than 2 years ago, reports online have reported nothing but glowing praise for Renee Young's work. Various reports state that she conducts herself very well, doesn't have an ego, interacts with everyone from referees to wrestlers and does a great job on interviews and commentary.

The latest from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that people within the company have seen her stepping up her game all the more. The feeling backstage, allegedly, is that she'll eventually wind up being promoted to SmackDown! and eventually to Raw as a commentator. The report also mentions that Young was contacted by ESPN several months and was interested in signing her. The feeling is that she's planning to stay with WWE, there's still time left on her deal though I don't know how much exactly. There are also rumors that she's kinda sorta in a relationship of some sort with Dean Ambrose as they've been seen and photographed leaving together by fans after several shows.

Personally, I like her. She's fresh and energetic without being ditzy or bubbly. I enjoy her commentary on NXT and, to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't mind seeing both her and William Regal promoted to SD! or Raw. They work well together and they're a unique pairing with Regal as this wily ring veteran that's been around the business since before he could drive and the young, cute blonde broadcaster that's been a fan most of her life.

Renee is very respectable while still able to have fun. I love that she's not just skating by on looks but rather actually is good at her job. In another thread about announcers ten years from now I stated that I hope by that time she's in the announce booth. I also hope she can be a role model for girls who would want to be a commentator but don't think it's possible because all they ever see is men doing it.

Whenever I remember to watch the JBL and Cole show I tend to enjoy her segments on there too.

I hope she's around for a long time.

It's always a good feeling seeing a fellow Torontonian make it big in the sports (or sports entertainment) world. Good for you, Renee. Keep it up.
