Rebooking WCW (anything)

Hi all

I'm aware there are threads for rebooking WCW in many eras, but I wanted to set one up where you could rebook anything you wanted in WCW, be it simple a match it two or even an entire era.

For now I'm going to rebook some of the Hulk Hogan era prior to the nWo. Hogan was getting booed a lot towards his (first) final red & yellow days in 1996. Personally as much as done WCW crowds didn't take to Hogan I think alot of it stemmed from him not losing enough matches (or any cleanly), getting involved in main events where he really had no right to and the daft that his hatches either ended with a hulk up, big boot & leg drop or some form of DQ finish. Looking back (hindsight us a wonderful thing), had he put over certain people at certain times in doing so actually gave us reason to believe he really might lose a match then I think the crowds might have taken to him.

So now I'm going to rebook some moments, matches, characters etc in the 1994-1996 Hulkamania WCW era. I'm also gonna scrap the Dungeon of Doom mostly.

Bash at the Beach 1994would remain the sane a Hogan would beat Flair for the title, this is one of the only times I believe the crowd were truly behind Hogan in those early days.

Clash of the Champions XXVIII Flair defeats Hogan for the title with the figure four leg lock, Hogan has a bad knee injury and Flair exploits it. Hogan doesn't quit but actually passes out from the pain.

Fall Brawl 1994 Flair defeats Steve Austin in the title match, afterwards Hogan returns on crutches saying he never quit and wants the title back. Flair says he'll fight him anytime anywhere! Hogan says he'll put his career on the line, before they can set up when and where Flair attacks Hogan with the belt. He goes after Hogan's knee again.

Also on the night Sting is involved in War Games against Vader's team, Stings team loses to Vader's team. This starts to set up Vader been unstoppable.

The Main Event The event where Dave Sullivan teamed up with Hogan, that match would be scrapped. Hogan and Flair are involved in a contract signing for a cage match at Halloween Havoc. Hogan is still on crutches here, he sats to Flair seen as though he is putting his career on the line he should do the same. Flair talks a big game trying to dance around it but Hogan asks him if he's afraid of losing to a man with a bum knee. Flair smiles realising Hulk's knee will still be bad at Havoc. He agrees and signs the contract, Hogan signs and sats just one more thing. Dropping his crutches to the ground, a Flair goes nuts trying to attack Hogan but Hogan gets the upper hand knocking Flair out the ring setting up Havoc.

Halloween Havoc 1994 The Hogan/Flair match to pretty much go down as it did but no Mr T as the referee. Still have the masked man as Brutus as he can fight Hogan at a later date.

On the same night Vader demolishes Jim Duggan and afterwards calls for the title.

WCW Saturday Night A tournament is announced for Clash with the winner getting a shot at the title at Starrcade.

Clash of the Champions XXIX Vader wins the tournament defeating Sting in the final, Steve Austin is the cause for Sting losing as Sting beat him in the semis to reach the final.

Hulk Hogan defeats Bruti to end the masked man storyline, after the match Vader's music hits he just watches from the ramp staring Hogan down as the show ends.

WCW Saturday Night, the Macho Man joins WCW, saying he will be watching the main event at Starrcade closely as he wants a shot at the World Title.

Starrcade 1994 Vader defeats Hulk Hogan clean. Vader is unstoppable at this point claiming the title from a defeated Hogan. This sets up. Hulk having to find his Eye of the Tiger moment in coming weeks.

Sting defeats Steve Austin for the US Title.

In the coming weeks Sting starts a title vs title feud with Arn Anderson

Superbrawl VHulk Hogan vs. Vader for the title ends in a no contest when Randy savage interferes. Earlier in the night he had got into a scuffle with Vader backstage. This annoys Hogan who wants the title back. Savage and Hogan shout at each other as Vader attacks both leaving both men down.

Sting beats Arn Anderson in a two out of three falls match to win the television title, Sting now holds both the US and TV titles.

Uncensored 2005Hulk Hogan beats Vader for the title in a falls count anywhere match. The street fight will cover Hogan's limits and he uses a chair on Vader at the end to win. After the match a bloody Hogan holds the title aloft as he has finally regained the title. Vader is not done though as he and Hogan are held apart by Security.

Slamboree 1995 Hogan and Savage beat Vader and Flair (who comes back as a surprise partner for Vader), after the match Hogan & Savage are beaten down. Hogan is put through a table Vader and is "injured" therefore missing a few months.

Great American Bash 1995 Main Event: Sting successfully defends his US/TV Title against Ric Flair, Anderson gives Sting the spine-buster, Flair is about to get the won when Savage runs in and distracts, the ref tries to get him out. He is distracted long enough that Sting manages to get up and deliver the Scorpion deathdrop to get the win. After the fight Sting & Savage fight off Anderson & Flair

Earlier on the night Savage vs Vader for the number one contender match. Savage looks like winning the match but is dustracted when Arn Anderson goes after Lanny Poffo, Vader wins the match by Vader bombing Flair.

Bash at the Beach 1995 Hogan beats Vader in a steel cage match to end the feud.

Earlier on the night Savage & Sting beat Flair & Anderson, after the match Flair is attacked by Anderson. Sting saves him but Savage is annoyed that he did.

Clash of the Champions XXXI Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage ends in a no contest when they are attacked by the newly formed faction, Kevin Sullivan leads the group with the Nasty Boys and Avalanche (don't want to call them the DOD).

Sting & Ric Flair defeat Arn Anderson & Vader when Sting pins Vader, after the match Flair challenges Anderson to a match at Fall Brawl

[/B]WCW Nitro[/B] debut episode goes as it did but Flair and Sting are friends. Lex Luger debuts as he did.

This starts some problems with Hogan and Luger as it did.

[/B]Fall Brawl 1995[/B] Hulk Hogans team (Hogan, Sting, Luger & Savage) to beat Sullivan, the Nasty Boys and Avalanche. After the match the Giant enters the ring destroying Hulk Hogan and his team. Sullivan is about to cut a promo but the Giant chokeslams him aswell.

Earlier on the night Anderson best Flair with help from Brian Pillman as it happened.

Nitro build up with Hogan not trusting Luger, Savage not trusting Flair and Sting trusting both. This leads to a tag team match where Hogan & Savage face Luger & Sting for the title. The giant interferes and chokeslams Hogan allowing Luger to get the pin.

Luger feels he is the number one contender to Hogan's belt and the two square off at Havoc.

Halloween Havoc 1995 main event: Lex Luger defeats Hulk Hogan for the title when the Giant interferes, Luger is ecstatic. Hogan is very angry.

Earlier on the night Anderson and Pillman beat Flair & Sting, Sting was injured and didn't tag Flair in. Flair is annoyed and kicks Sting's leg out, Anderson and Pillman come in and Anderson gets the mic saying he just wanted to know Flair was still his old self. The three unite and do the Four Horsemen symbol. Randy Savage runs down with a chair to save Sting. Sting is stretchered off.

WCW Nitro Luger has a new found arrogance as Champion. He is asked about Stong, he says Sting is a big boy and can take care of himself. Flair declares himself the nee number one contender and they are to face for the title.

Flair wins the title in the main event, there is a huge melee involving the Horsemen, Hogan & Savage and the Giant. Flair manages to get the win.

The next week Luger is angry as hell he wants to fight Hogan. The match is announced for World War Three along with Savage, Sting & Benoit who Sting handpicked after having a match with him against Flair, Anderson and Pillman.

World War Three

Flair, Anderson & Pillman beat Sting, Savage & Benoit when Benoit turns on them joining the horsemen.

Hulk Hogan beats Lex Luger, afterwards the Giant hits the ring but this time Hogan fights him off.

Sting wins World War Three, after the Giant eliminates Hogan, (rip of RR 92 ending). Hogan then pulls the Giant and Sting throws him out. It is then down to Sting and Anderson, Sting kicks his butt and wins the match to get the title shot at Starrcade.

WCW Nitro in the weeks building up to Starrcade, Sting loses both the. Tv Title and. US Titles to Luger and The Giant as the Horsemen continue to sabotage him.

Randy Savage has Flair beat in a match but the referee won't hit the three count, turns out he's been paid off by the Horsemen. Flair beats Savage, this sets up Savage integrating himself into the title picture making Starrcade a four man match elimination as Luger has also integrated himself into the picture.

The final Nitro before Starrcade Sting fights Savage to a draw when the Horsemen beat them down.

Also on the show Hogan and the Giants feud reaches boiling point as they are held apart by security.

Starrcade 1995 Hogan and the Giant ends in a no contest when the two start using chairs etc against each other. This feud is far from over.

Main event: Sting wins the four way elimination fight to win the WCW Title, first Luger is eliminated by Savage, irate Luger beats Savage with a steel chair injuring him. Flair pins Savage and Sting beats Flair with the Scoprion death-lock.

Interesting, main problem being Vader didn't want to work with Hogan, didn't like him, thought his wrestling style was weak, etc. The whole reason Flair returned at SuperBrawl was to take the four corners spot in the strap match in Vader's place.

Rememnber Vader had some issues before with WCW Talent. He knocked Flair's teeth out at Starrcade 93 and battered him legit until Flair legit clocked him a few times.

Re Write 1994: Flair unified the International & WCW Titles via Pinfall at Clash (largely the same with the heel turn and Sherri Swerve and Hogan making the post match save)

Hogan wins title at Bash At The Beach - Flair wins title at Clash Of Champions but not in a scew job, injured fashion, although it gave the notorious ego Hogan a face saving excuse to really milk money from the 3rd match Flair has to go over clean, not dominating, maybe Hogan injures his knee during the match and you would have the "pass out from the pain" angle, plus a Hogan re had angle going forward.

Hogan re habs fast but Flair refuses to give him a title shot, prompting Hogan to offer the His Career vs WCW Title - Flair cant pass up the chance to end Hogan and he has one win over him so the match is set for Havoc, with long time "in the know" fans unsure how it will go, Hogan hasn't been anything close to a F/T wrestler since mid 1991 at this point, and he did lose weakly to Yokozuna in his last WWE match, it's believable going forward that he could lose, maybe in a screw job like in WWE, giving him a "face saving" excuse to return at a later date. It also means WCW doesn't get rid of Flair, their biggest star, for several months, and frees us from the ridiculous Hogan brings in Savage to help get Flair re-instated angle from 1995.

Hogan wins clean at Havoc in the cage and is champ. No Beefcake attack, he wasn't near a big enough name to justify a Starrcade match vs Hogan. He easily could be given work in the company as favor to Hulk without burying the company with him in the main event. Hogan wins and celebrates in the ring, then we see on TBS the following week that Vader crushed him in a brutal post match locker room attack.

Going forward Flair/Arn Anderson team with Vader as the new super heel faction opposing Hogan & Sting. I would have the heels recruit Steve Austin to join them (is he even healthy at this point, was he on IR at the end of 94 ??). Hogan vs Vader at Starracde ends in a No Contest with a massive heels vs faces brawl, setting up a umber Jack match at Super Brawl between them, with NO DQ Rules which would favor Vader. In between at The Clash of Champions in Jan have Hogan & Sting lose a tag match to Flair & Vader to give the heels some momentum.

Hogan wins at SuperBrawl around the time Randy Savage returns....but is Savage coming in to join the heels....join Hogan....stand alone....no one will know for a while, eventually Savage joins the faces (the heel group is already pretty strong, by early 95 Steamboat was finished with injuries so the company needs another main event hero) but Savage & Sting want a shot at Hogan. A three way semi feud/semi friendship erupts with Flair continually trying to sway Sting to see who "Hogan really is" and join him in his crusade to destroy him.

Meanhwile heading into the summer of 1995 there are various match ups between the Super Heels and the three Friends/Foes/Faces to keep things interesting, including the re hash of Flair vs Savage from WWE, which is a good headliner for house shows since Hogan doesn't work them typically even though he is champ. Flair gets a couple high profile wins over Savage but loses at Great Am Bash with a Bash At The Beach Title Match on the line. Savage gets the BAB Title Match vs Hogan with the tease of turning heel, but he wont (believable since he spent half his career as a bad guy and always was obsessed with being champ). WWE never did this feud in this way, always making Savage the clear villain, a new twist on their run. Meanwhile have Austin/Arn dominating in the tag ranks and Vader fuming he isn't getting more upper card matches. With AA/Austin winning the tag straps and Flair winning the US Title around this time, have Vader disappear for a few weeks then make his return at BAB where he helps save Hogan & Savage from a post match beat down by the heels (Hogan wins match clean, both men shake hands afterwards, then heels attack).

This sets up Vader as a face, allligned with the faces against Flair's bad guys, allowing for Vader-Flair in a role reversal and Vader vs Austin, a completely new match up. Meanwhile Sting is next in line for a title shot and starts moving in that direction, causing more tension (he never does side with Flair and turn against Hogan, but he's getting mad he hasn't gotten his shot yet). This carried your upper card into the fall, setting up the Havoc PPV where Vader would face one of the heels (maybe Austin or AA) in a NO DQ Cage Match, Savage facing who ever was not facing Vader between those two and Sting would get his title match vs Hogan. Luger returns around this time (Sept 95) and plays the tweener role, siding with both Sting & Flair at different times. Id have Luger vs Flair at Havoc for the US Title with some sort of draw (probably not time limit since by now Luger isn't much for longer matches, maybe a double count-out). There can be hints that Luger didn't try as hard as he could to win the match, maybe taking it easy and accepting the draw at the finish, adding suspense to his tweener role. Hogan wins vs Sting at Havoc but with a caveat - Sting's foot is on the ropes and the pin shouldn't count, Hogan agrees to give Sting a e match at Starrcade. In the interim they remain friends.

Sting then is attacked backstage a few weeks later by several mid carders who seemingly have no real agenda against him and is injured. It's assumed that Flair's group is responsible until he is attacked by the same group and injured just before a Nitro US title match vs Luger, which Luger wins with Flair injured. It's then revealed that Luger was behind the attack all along, trying to get Sting out of the way and grab the US Title to insure his path to the Starrcade Title Match. This puts us in Title vs Title, US Champ Luger vs WCW Champ Hogan at Starrcade. Austin/AA should lose the tag titles at Starrcade also, probably in the first PPV match of a really good set of bouts vs The Steiner Bros.

Sting & Flair would be both off Starrcade to sell the injury angle. Meanwhile Vader's face turn is short lived, as Kevin Sullivan convinces him that neither Hogan or Flair will give him what he really wants, the WCW Title, and that he needs Hart's guidance to get back in the title picture, so he turns on Savage and brutalizes him, setting up matches in Nov-Dec, including at Starrcade. Vader will have a list of the names he has to destroy to get the title and Savage is the first name on the list. Vader "working through his list" would be his theme for the next few months. Savage wins at Starrcade but Vader brutalizes him afterwards.

Meanwhile AA & Austin have been having some problems leading up to Starracde with Austin feeling they are too concerned with Flair & Hogan and need to focus on their own business as well, like the old Horsemen used to do. Brian Pillman would be in Austin's ear at this time egging him to make the break. When Flair doesn't save them at Starrcade and they lose to The Steiners, it appears they will break up. Question is, will Austin be the face with Pillman in A Hollywood Blondes Reunion or will Anderson be the face ?

In the main event, Luger has bragged about his "secret plan" all along, but what is it ? It's revealed when Pillman appears and interferes to help him against Hogan, much to the crowd's surprise as it seemed Pilllman was a face trying to save his old partner. Austin however doesn't join in and walks away, Savage is too beat up post match Vader to be around, Sting is hobbled with injuries, so Luger wins the title. Jimmy Hart appears, and a new super heel faction appears to have been born, Austin re appears and this time joins them, despite Arn Anderson's pleas to the contrary, and the heels pummel Arn & Hogan until Flair appears and makes the save!

We head into 1996 with Vader's Hit List with Kevin Sullivan as his evil mentor, a new Non-Horsemen Super Heel Faction with Luger, the re united Hollywood Blondes, & Jimmy Hart (and the WCW Title), Flair & Arn on their own as tweeners, possible "frienemies" with Team Hogan, and the potential for new match ups pitting Vader/Sullivvan (who would be growing their heel group with Meng, etc) trying to grab Luger's title while he dodges Hogan, Flair, Sting, & Savage, a lot of the same names but a totally changed dynamic from the Fall of 95. Luger-Sting should be the "money match" going forward although Luger vs Vader in two monster heels, or Luger vs Flair would be potential big money too. Since The Giant debuts at this time Id have Hart & Sullivan in a bidding war, both trying to recruit him, with Hart winning initially and Sullivan winning in the end, teaming him with Vader as the unstoppable wrecking crew in WCW.

I mean, the most obvious thing to do is re-book starrcade 1997. This would become what it should have been all along, the night the nwo was defeated. Sting dominates Hogan, nitro stays WCW, even lower card nwo guys lose. Sting is champ moving forward and the focus is on him as well as the dissolution of the nwo (no split). Then, basically never revive the thing.

I like it, my only thing was I didn't want to stop Austin or Vader leaving. I was trying to book it with wrestlers leaving as they did etc. but saying that what you have done may have caused some of these wrestlers to have left.

I certainly wouldn't have wanted to hold Steve Austin back from becoming Stone Cold Steve Austin in the WWF. Vader never amounted to much in the WWF though so stopping him going might not be such a bad thing.

I mean, the most obvious thing to do is re-book starrcade 1997. This would become what it should have been all along, the night the nwo was defeated. Sting dominates Hogan, nitro stays WCW, even lower card nwo guys lose. Sting is champ moving forward and the focus is on him as well as the dissolution of the nwo (no split). Then, basically never revive the thing.

My ideas for that would have been a full card of nWo vs WCW matches with the stipulation that which ever entity/faction gets the most wins the other must disband. I'd have had it tied at the end with Hogan and Sting been the decider. The match should have been booked with Sting dominating but towards the end Hogan gets on top. The end of the match would have had the nWo try to come in to save. Hogan but the WCW wrestlers fight them off. Hogan hits Sting with the title belt and it looks all over. He pins Sting but Sting kicks out, Hogan continues to work on Sting, slamming him. He then goes to hot the leg-drop but Sting rolls out the way. Both men fight to get to there feet, Hogan goes to hit Sting with a clothesline but misses and hits the corner. Sting then hits a stinger splash and gets the scorpion death-drop. Instead of pinning Hogan he decides to make him with with the Scorpion Death-lock. Hogan quits as Sting gets the title and celebrates with the title.

The following night on Nitro, Hogan comes out to cut a promo. He says he will keep his word and the nWo will disband. Nash and Hall come out and start to argue with Hogan, they attack him. Sting comes down in to save Hogan. Nash and Hall run off as Hogan gets to his feet Sting stands there facing him. Now its a case of whether or not Sting can trust Hogan, this goes on for a few weeks until Souled Out where Sting & Hogan team up to take on Hall and Nash. The trust issues are there but in the end Hogan comes through and he and Sting win the match. They shake hands at the end of the match.

This leads to a program of Hogan taking on Nash & Hall who have formed the wolfpac with a few other wrestlers. At Superbrawl Hogan teams with the Steiners to take on Nash, Hall and Syxx (lets say he never left). Scott Steiner turns on. Rick & Hogan joining the Wolfpac and helping them to win the match.

In the main event Sting defeats Randy Savage, who shakes Sting's hand at the end.

Hogan and Savage try to mend their differences to take down the Wolfpac but they struggle to get on.

At Uncensored Hogan takes on Kevin Nash Hall in a steel cage match, the Wolfpac enter the cage to try to take out Hogan but Savage helps Hogan and they clean house.

In the main event Sting beats DDP.

There's be more in between that but by the time we hit the Great American Bash. Hogan would defeat Nash and finally return in Red & Yellow.

Sting would also lose the title at this event to the Giant.

More would happen of course but that's all I've got right now.

Also if I could have had my way where Bret Hart is concerned he never would have left the WWF. He just never fit with WCWs image and I think we were robbed of some great moments he would have had on WWF.

I do believe that WWE would gave risen without the screw job anyway as they were going in an edgier direction already. Vince already has his problems with Austin and its not like Montreal happened and overnight Vince became the bad guy the next night. This built up, it still could have and their feuding mostly happened post Manua 14.

There's also no reason Goldberg still couldn't have risen as he was smashing through WCW stars before he even got to the nWo. My plan would have been for Goldberg to take the title at Starrcade.

1994

Bash of the Beach 1994

To happen as it did the Hogan vs Flair match was one of the greatest matches in WCW history. Its also one of the only times in those early years that Hogan was truly over with the WCW crowd. I believe it was Hogan's decisions on how to book himself that forced the fans to turn on him. Of course there were territories where Hogan would have been boo'd regardless as some of these were pro Flair.

Clash of the Champions XXVIII

Flair defeats Hogan for the title, Hogan was attacked the week before by the masked man with a lead pipe, injuring his knee. Flair exploits this during the match and Hogan tries to fight out of the figure fourb leg lock but can't. Hogan passes out from

Fall Brawl

Ric Flair defends the title against US Champion Stuning Steve Austin, he wins with the Figure Four Leg Lock.

Also on the night Sting is involved in War Games against Vader's team, Stings team loses to Vader's team. This starts to set up Vader been unstoppable.

WCW Saturday Night

Hulk Hogan returns on crutches saying he never quit and wants the title back. Ric Flair comes down to the ring saying he'll fight him anytime anywhere! Hogan says he'll put his career on the line, before they can set up when and where Flair attacks Hogan with the belt. He goes after Hogan's knee again.

The Main Event

This is the event where Dave Sullivan teamed up with Hogan, that match would be completely scrapped. Hogan and Flair are involved in a contract signing for a cage match at Halloween Havoc. Hogan is still on crutches here, he sats to Flair seen as though he is putting his career on the line he should do the same. Flair talks a big game trying to dance around it but Hogan asks him if he's afraid of losing to a man with a bum knee. Flair smiles realising Hulk's knee will still be bad at Havoc. He agrees and signs the contract, Hogan signs and sats just one more thing. Dropping his crutches to the ground, a Flair goes nuts trying to attack Hogan but Hogan gets the upper hand knocking Flair out the ring setting up Havoc.

Halloween Havoc

The Hogan/Flair match to pretty much go down as it did but no Mr T as the referee. Still have the masked man as Brutus as he can fight Hogan at the Clash.

On the same night Vader demolishes Jim Duggan and afterwards calls for the title.

WCW Saturday Night

A tournament is announced for Clash with the winner getting a shot at the title at Starrcade.

Clash of the Champions XXIX

Vader wins the tournament defeating Sting in the final, Steve Austin is the cause for Sting losing as Sting beat him in the semis to reach the final.

Hulk Hogan defeats Bruti to end the masked man storyline, after the match Vader's music hits he just watches from the ramp staring Hogan down as the show ends.

WCW Saturday Night

The Macho Man arrives in WCW, saying he will be watching the main event at Starrcade closely as he wants a shot at the World Title.

Starrcade

Vader defeats Hulk Hogan clean. Vader is unstoppable at this point claiming the title from a defeated Hogan. This sets up Hulk having to find his Eye of the Tiger moment in coming weeks.

Sting defeats Steve Austin to win the US Title.

Thus ends 1994...

I don't think that would work, you would probably have to give Goldberg a DQ win. One of the big mistakes the company made was ending Goldberg's streak too early, this would be even earlier.

Randy Savage defeats Steve Austin in his first PPV match

Sting beats Arn Anderson to win the television title, Sting now holds both the US and TV titles.

Main Event: Hulk Hogan vs. Vader for the title ends in a no contest when Randy savage interferes. Earlier in the night he had got into a scuffle with Vader backstage. This annoys Hogan who wants the title back. Savage and Hogan shout at each other as Vader attacks both of them, leaving both men down.

WCW Saturday Night

*Vader beats Randy Savage by DQ when Hulk Hogan interferes, Savage is not happy at all and the two men argue as they did at Superbrawl

*Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage ends in a no contest, the winner of the match got a title shot against Vader at Uncensored, Hogan & Savage had barely wrestled for a few minutes when Vader interfered, the three men brawl in the ring.

It is announced the week after that both Hogan and Savage will face Vader in a triple threat match at Uncensored.

Uncensored

Sting once again defeats Arn Anderson, this time in a 2 out of 3 falls match, round 1 is a normal match, round 2 is a no DQ match and round 3 is a steel cage match

Main Event: Hulk Hogan beats Vader & Randy Savage in a triangle match for the title in a falls count anywhere match. The street fight will cover Hogan's limits and he uses a chair on Vader at the end to win. Savage is taken out of the fight midway through when Vader injures him, Hogan tries to help Savage up but Vader attacks from behind. After the match a bloody Hogan holds the title aloft as he has finally regained the title. Vader is not done though as he and Hogan are held apart by Security.

Slamboree

Hogan and Savage beat Vader and Flair (who comes back as a surprise partner for Vader) when Savage pins Flair, after the match Hogan & Savage are beaten down. Hogan is put through a table by Vader and is "injured" therefore missing a few months, Lanny Poffo attempts to save Savage but Flair attacks him.

Great American Bash

Vader defeats Randy Savage in the number one contenders match for the world title. Savage looks like winning the match but is distracted when Arn Anderson & Ric Flair goes after Lanny Poffo, Vader wins the match by Vader bombing Savage.

Main Event: Sting successfully defends his US/TV Titles against Ric Flair, Anderson gives Sting the spine-buster, Flair is about to get the win when Savage runs in and distracts the ref, the ref tries to get him out. He is distracted long enough that Sting manages to get up and deliver the Scorpion DD to get the win. After the match Sting & Savage fight off Anderson & Flair

WCW Saturday Night

*Savage & Sting deafeat Harlem Heat for the Tag Team titles

*Vader defeats Avalanche via DQ when Hulk Hogan returns in and attacks him

Bash at the Beach

Tag Team Title Match: Savage & Sting beat Flair & Anderson, after the match Flair is attacked by angry Arn Anderson. Sting saves him but Savage is annoyed that he did.

Main Event: Hogan beats Vader in a steel cage match to end the feud. I'd scrap Hogan wearing Vader's weird head mask.

Clash of the Champions XXXI

Sting & Ric Flair defeat Arn Anderson & Vader when Sting pins Vader, after the match Flair challenges Anderson to a match at Fall Brawl

Main Event: Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage ends in a no contest when they are attacked by a Harlem Heat, who run down and attack Savage, Hogan saves him as they team up to take down Harlem Heat

WCW Nitro

*Debut episode goes as it did but Flair and Sting are friends. Lex Luger debuts as he did. This starts some problems with Hogan and Luger as it did.

*Hogan vs Luger on the second episode ends with Harlem Heat running in along with the Nasty Boys who they have recruited for War Games with the deal that when (if) they regain the Tag Team titles they will get the first shot.

Fall Brawl

Arn Anderson beats Flair with help from Brian Pillman as it happened. Sting runs in afterwards for the save.

Main Event - War Games Match: Hulk Hogans team (Hogan, Sting, Luger & Savage) defeat Harlem Heat & the Nasty Boys when hulk Hogan pins Jerry Saggs. Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger have clear trust issues throughout this contest.

Harlem Heat and the Nasty Boys argue as they leave.

After the match the Giant enters the ring destroying Hulk Hogan and his team.

WCW Nitro

*Harlem Heat defeat Sting & Randy Savage for the Tag Team Titles when Arn Anderson runs in an gives Sting the spine buster. Savage chases Anderson off after and then warns Sting that this is all because he trusts Ric Flair. Tension is clearly there.

*The same night the Nasty Boys defeat Hogan & Luger, afterwards Hogan and Luger come to blows.

*Nitro in the weeks ahead builds up with Hogan not trusting Luger, Savage not trusting Flair and Sting trusting both Flair & Luger. This leads to a tag team match where Hogan & Savage face Luger & Sting. The giant interferes and choke-slams Hogan allowing Luger to get the pin.

*Luger feels he is the number one contender to Hogan's belt and the two are scheduled to square off at Havoc.

*Hulk Hogan beats Booker T the final night before Halloween Havoc, afterwards the Nasty Boys enter and fight Harlem Heat. Hogan is also attacked by Lex Luger but fights him off.

Halloween Havoc

Main event: Lex Luger defeats Hulk Hogan for the title when the Giant interferes and Jimmy Hart turns on Hogan, Luger is ecstatic. Hogan is very angry.

Earlier on the night Anderson and Pillman beat Flair & Sting, Sting had injured his leg and didn't tag Flair in. Flair is annoyed and kicks Sting's leg out, Anderson and Pillman come in and Anderson gets the mic saying he just wanted to know Flair was still his old self. The three unite and do the Four Horsemen symbol. Randy Savage runs down with a chair to save Sting. Sting is stretchered off.

WCW Nitro

*Luger has a new found arrogance as Champion. He is asked about Sting, he says Sting is a big boy and can take care of himself. Flair declares himself the new number one contender and they are to face for the title the next week on Nitro.

*Flair wins the title from Lex Luger, there is a huge melee involving the Horsemen, Hogan & Savage and the Giant. Flair manages to get the win after Hogan knocks out Luger with the steel chair.

*The next week Luger is angry as hell he wants to wrestle Hogan now.

*A tag team match of Savage & Hogan beat Flair and Luger when Savage pins Flair after the match the Horsemen attack Savage whilst Luger puts Hogan in the torture rack. Sting returns fighting off the Horsemen saving Savage, Sting convinces Luger to drop Hogan. Savage is angry as hell and wants to get at Luger but Sting is holding him off as the show end.

Key Matches announced for World War Three are:

Savage, Sting & Benoit (who Sting hand-picked after having a match with him the previous week on Nitro when he helped Sting fight off Anderson, Flair and Pillman) against Flair, Anderson and Pillman. Hulk Hogan vs Lex Luger.

World War Three

Flair, Anderson & Pillman beat Sting, Savage & Benoit when Benoit turns on Savage & Sting joining the four horsemen.

Hulk Hogan beats Lex Luger, afterwards the Giant hits the ring but this time Hogan manages fights him off with a steel chair

Sting wins World War Three, after the Giant eliminates Hogan, (rip of RR 92 ending). Hogan then pulls the Giant and Sting throws him out. It is then down to Sting and Anderson, Sting kicks his butt and wins the match to get the title shot at Starrcade.

WCW Nitro

*In the weeks building up to Starrcade, Sting loses both the TV Title and US Titles to Luger and The Giant as the Horsemen continue to sabotage him.

*Randy Savage has Flair beat in a match but the referee won't hit the three count, turns out he's been paid off by the Horsemen. Flair beats Savage, this sets up Savage integrating himself into the title picture making Starrcade a four man match elimination as Luger has also integrated himself into the picture.

*The final Nitro before Starrcade Sting fights Savage to a draw when the Horsemen beat them down.

*Also on the show Hogan and the Giants feud reaches boiling point as they are held apart by security.

Starrcade 1995

Hogan and the Giant ends in a no contest when the two start using chairs etc against each other. This feud is far from over.

The horsemen are banned from the arena before the main event

Main event: Sting wins the four way elimination fight to win the WCW Title, first Luger is eliminated by Savage, irate Luger beats Savage with a steel chair injuring him. Flair pins Savage and Sting beats Flair with the Scorpion DL.

Thus ends 1995

I'll try 2nd half of WCW 94 focusing on the world title picture and booking Hogan. I wouldn't book Hogan in a World Title Bout for his debut. Just Hogan appearing on a WCW pay per view would draw ratings. So his opponent for his Bash debut would be his old rival Paul Orndorff. Hogan gets the big win. Flair defends the world title against Steve Austin. Sting defends the International title against Great Muta.

At the Clash of Champions Hogan wins a heavily hyped battle royal for a guarantee world title shot.

At Fall brawl Flair defeats Dustin Rhodes in a title bout showing heelish tactics. Arn Anderson distracts Rhodes. Flair clips Rhodes from behind then wins with the figure four. Arn simply walks away. Sting defends his title against Lord Steven Regal. Hacksaw Duggan is being interviewed when Terry Funk and Bunkhouse Buck come out and beat down Duggan and start choking him with a bull rope. Hogan runs in and cleans house.

At Clash, Flair defeats Sting in a title unification match. Arn comes out and Sting is distracted. Arn gets up on the apron and is yelling at Sting. The ref tries to get Arn out of there. Flair rolls Sting up with a hand full of tights and wins the match. Arn again just walks away.

At Havoc it's announced Hogan will get his title shot at Starrcade. Hogan and Duggan defeat Funk and Buck in a cage match. They celebrate. Duggan gives Hogan the thumbs up and tells him to keep celebrating with the fans. Duggan heads back. As Hogan is posing, Arn Anderson runs into the cage and hits Hogan from behind with a lead pipe. Flair then walks down the aisle, gets a mic and walks into the cage. Arn locks the cage door. Flair gets on the mic and berates Hogan and tells him "Guarantee shot! Guarantee shot! You want a shot! Pal you don't deserve a shot with the Nature Boy WHOOOOO!" Flair and Arn double team Hogan and hammer away at his knee. Flair clamps the figure four on Hogan while Arn keeps hitting the knee with the pipe. Flair gets up and grabs the mic "Welcome to WCW Hogan" Flair drops the mic on Hogan's chest. Show ends with Hogan taken out on a stretcher.

At Starrcade it's Flair vs Hogan for the title. Hogan's knee is heavily taped. It's a back and forth battle. The ref takes a hard bump, Arn runs in and gets a chair then nails Hogan. Sting runs in and hits Arn. They battle back to the dressing room. Flair then gets the chair and hammers away on the knee. He clamps the figure four. Hogan wont give up. Flair keeps at it. Hogan finally passes out when out of nowhere Randy Savage runs in climbs to the top turnbuckle and nails Flair with a flying elbow. Savage rolls Hogan onto Flair then drags the ref over who makes the 3 count!

In 95 Flair and Arn feud with Hogan and Savage. The 2nd half would be a Hogan/Vader feud. Then Luger comes in as a heel and challenges Hogan at Starrcade 95.

What I would rebook mostly is Booker's title reigns they all came too late/too fast if you get me where his total of 5 reigns came to 150 days something like that. I would rebook all 5 of his title wins one by one and make them last longer and also make wcw stay in business to where he can have all 5 reigns in that company rather than wwe as well

1st Title Win - he beats Jeff Jarrett at Bash at the Beach 2000 which should of been the advertised main event all along rather than Hogan but he beats Jarrett giving him his first win.

Inbetween his first & second reign he defends it countless times but he doesn't drop it to Nash he beats Nash at Fall Brawl and then goes up against Steiner where he drops the title which ends his first reign.

Second Title Win - After months of being on the shelf he comes back and challangez Steiner to a match on Nitro where he wins the belt in the year 2001 BUT he doesn't hold it for very long because Steiner cheats to win it back after a month as champion his secon reign comes to an end.

Third Title Win - He's going after his third title shot and it's against DDP this time in the summer of 2001 ddp won the title from Steiner in May and then drops it to Booker in September of that year to where Booker gets a standing ovation from the crowd & DDP, he holds onto the belt until February of 2002 where Lance Storm is going through the ranks and beats Booker at Superbrawl ending Bookers 3rd reign.

Inbetween his third & Fourth reign he can't seem to get any victories under his belt an des entered into the War Games Match where the winner becomes the number 1 contender to Storm's Wcw Title.

Fourth Title Win - He wins Wargames and then goes on to face Storm at Halloween Havoc but loses because Storm cheats to win and then goes on to win the title at Starrcade but if he doesn't win the belt he has to leave for ever.

Fifth Title Win - This is his last title for wcw he has the belt for a couple of months but loses to Sting who is in his prime for wcw, Eric Bichoff has announced a tournament to where he winner faces Sting at Bash at the Beach and Booker wins the title from sting where he won his first reign BUT because he's offered a contract at Wwf he vacates the title 24 hours later on Nitro & thanks the fans for everything and he is crying & walks off leaving the belt in the ring.

That's my booking for Booker T's world title run whic is much better tbh.

I didn't watch a ton of WCW, but I can think of one rule I'd add.

The nWo... A SET-IN STONE CAP ON THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS AT A TIME.

Instead of making over half the frigging roster the nWo, keep it at a few elite guys. Don't water it down, don't make it cheap, don't add tons of jobbers. A set number of members... maybe 5. And if someone new wants in, they have to knock someone else out of the group. It'd stay Hogan, Hall, Nash, X-Pac, and a rotating 5th.

I'd like to change the 2000 ppv of Souled Out because that ppv just sucked tbh and try to make it better such as:

1) Brian Knobs (C) Vs Fit Finlay Vs Norman Smiley Vs Meng
Fatal 4 Way Wcw Hardcore Title Match. Have this as the opener, could be a great bout with lots of spots and have Meng pick up the win and dominate the hardcore devision.

2) Evan Karagias (C) Vs Juventud Gerrera Vs The Artist
Wcw Cruiserweight Title Triple Threat Match. Have The Artist win this match by hitting his finisher on Evan to win the title.

3) Tank Abbot Vs Jerry Flynn
Singles Match. This will stay the same.

4) David Flair & Crowbar (C) Vs The Mamalukes Vs The Harris Brothers Vs Vampiro & The Wall.
Wcw Tag Team Title Four Corner Elimination Match. Put all four tag teams together and have Vampiro bring in the wall as backup and then they can win the belts by beating te champions

5) DDP Vs Buff Bagwell
Last Man Standing Match. Stays the same.

6) The Revolution Vs Konnan, Billy Kidman & Eddie Guerrero
Six Man Tag Team War Match. Have all six man together for one last time and have te revolution come out on top and have the future radical member leave for the wwf the next day.

7) Kevin Nash Vs Terry Funk
Control for wcw Steel Cage Match. Have this match take place inside the steel cage instead and it could be a great spotfest with the same results.

8) Chris Benoit Vs Sid Vicisous
Wcw Wold Title Match with Arn Anderson as the special guest referee. Have this match with the same outcome and have confetti and fireworks after the match. Have all the Wcw guys as girls it to watch and give both men a standing ovation to end a great show.
