Raw Rankings.

According to the above link, these are where the current Raw superstars rank compared to the rest of the talents. I will list the superstars, and you be the judge of whether or not the superstars should be in the rank they are in.

Main Eventers: These are the Smackdown stars who can, at any time, be elevated to the World Title scene...
The Big Show, John Cena, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H.

Upper Midcard: These are those who are in the mid card. However, they're being pushed up the ladder, maybe towards the main event level soon...
Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, M.V.P., Ted DiBiase, and The Miz.

Lower Midcard: Also mid carders. However, they are not being pushed up the ladder. Having rare pay-per-view appearances...
Carlito, Chavo Guerrero, Evan Bourne, Hornswoggle, Primo, and Santino Marella.

Lower Level: These are superstars below the mid card. Mostly wrestling at house shows... if they're lucky...
Chris Masters, Festus, and Jamie Noble.

Now, these are not meant to remain the same for long. But, I just thought I'd create this thread to see your opinions. This makes a little bit more sense compared to the Smackdown one, but not much. Cody and Ted are doing great in the upper mid card because of Randy Orton and DX. Carlito and Evan Bourne should be higher up. It's a shame that Hornswoggle is doing better than Finlay. Thoughts?

Honestly this is my rankings that make sense
Main Eventers: RANDY orton john cena triple h hbk chris jericho(Note as unifed tag champ he is on both brands.)

Upper Midcard: Jack swagger big show Mvp mark henry Ted bidase and cody rhodes THE MIZ.
Lower Midcard: primo Santino Kofi kingston
Lower Level: Everyone I didnt mention.

(Divas were not included)

i think u meant to label this as RAW and not SmackDown but yeah i pretty much agree with all these, personally i cant wait for the miz to be in the main event scene cuz hes my favorite

Although I mildly enjoyed reading this post, I can't help but wonder what exactly the point of it is. It just seems like a glorified roster listing, which is neither informative or debatable. If you are asking what we think about the roster, then obviously it is limited but I think we already knew that and this could have been pointed out without listing the entire roster. One bit of insight I can add, though, is to look for MVP and Kofi Kingston as two people in the next 12-20 months who can possibly be ME level, but there is no clear guy IMO in the midcard who will be a main eventer.

I made the list simply to get you guys' opinion on them. I mean, sure, you can probably tell that on your own, but I made this thread just to allow you to put more input on it. The list was just to see if your opinions coincide with it, and how you think it should be changed or left the same.

I agree except for a few things. First even thoug he is on Raw every week I see Chris Masters being main event way before Koffi. Koffi had a long title run but honestly I dont think I have ever seen Koffi on the mic. Masters has also been put in several high profile matches since he came back. Honestly i gotta think Vince loves this guy. Just the fact that he is back and i am pretty sure he has had at least 2 wellness violations. So I see him get a main event push eventually. I dont really think Koffi is anything more than a gimmick to help them overseas and dont think we will ever see him main event. Other than that I am pretty head on with you.

i realy do think that Chris Masters should have been brought straight back into main event action. This guy draws alot of heat with the crowd and has the size to be in the main even. If not, i recon WWE put him back together with carlito. Those two could be a old/fresh look to the tag team sceen.

I can see Masters, Miz, Kofi, MVP and Swagger being pushed to ME status over the next 4+ months.

What I do like about the Raw mid-card is it is better and younger than Smackdowns. Though SD has more star power, Raw has more overall talent. IMO

I have to say I agree with this list. Except the only reason I'd say Big Show is in the Main event and not in the Mid card is due to his current association with Chris Jericho. If it were any time before the current reign as tag champs I would put him at mid card. Big Show I find has always been sloppy in the ring and not a great main eventer. He is just tossed in there due to his size and power in my opinion.

I much rather believe Show should be in the midcard or tag scene like he currently is and help elevate guys to the next level.

I think that the rankings are about right, by and large. The only difference I'd make is to put a true midcard level between the Upper and lower and fill it with Swagger, Carlito and Evan Bourne, because even though he loses all the time, his crowd reaction is certainly greater than that of those below him. There's even an argument to put Santino in this category, because he is guaranteed to be on telelvision every week.

I have to say, it is a pretty solid list and fairly accurate. I am happy to see Big Show finally get the recognition he deserves as being a main event superstar. The poor man has been wrongly booked with creative stuck on his character and sheer size. For a big man, he can move and perform varied moves. For Christs sakes, before Melina, he did the leg drop split thingy. He is solid on the mic, great worker and can move.

As for the midcard sections, there isn't much room for movement. If you have a crowd reaction, you're in the upper midcard. If you have very little crowd reaction, you are in the lower midcard. Simple as that. Though I feel some superstars should be pushed upwards such as Carlito and Evan Bourne, you can't argue with the majoriy of the fans.
