For those that have not yet heard Buddy Roberts, member of the Fabulous Freebirds died today. Although he was the least known of the Fabulous Freebirds he played a huge part in their success as more often than not he was the one in the ring doing a lot of the heavy lifting whereas Hayes was the mouthpiece and Gordy was the enforcer.
As a singles performer he had his fair share of moments, the one in particular that comes to mind is his feud with Iceman Parsons which was fantastic once Buddy lost his hair and started wearing the wigs with the head gear (much like Kurt Angle after he lost his hair).
I always felt he was an underrated performer and will definitely be missed.
RIP Buddy, here's one last drink in your honor.
