Apparently, this new Qtrax thing, released a couple of days ago, downloads activating soon, is legal LimeWire. They have full license from record labels to provide a P2P service for free, thus finally giving us what we've all wanted: free, legal music. Is this available in the US, and what are everyone else's general thoughts on what is apparently the greatest thing ever to happen for music lovers?

Seems they may have jumped the gun a little with the announcement

Aside from that, a few people I know have downloaded and installed it and say it's just not working at the minute, making a lot of people suspicious it was just a scam to get the advertising money, or, worse, virus-ify people's computers
