Predicting Kingdom Come VIII.

ShinChan

Gone. For. Good.
Let's do it.

Mikey Stormrage Vs. Justin Cooper for the ultimate title.

Noah Ryder Vs. Logan McAllister Vs Austin Reynolds for Elite Openweight title.

Titus Vs. Theron/Xander for EurAsian title.

The Hollow Ones Vs. Vis Imperium for the tag titles.

KFAD match

Early thoughts:

Stormrage vs Cooper vs Black vs Taylor
Yeah I think this could happen but it wouldn't surprise me to see it be the more realistic option of two single matches.
Hunnicutt vs Constantine vs Reynolds
Implosion was heavily implied thanks only to the ending. Constantine vs Reynolds could be interesting too. But it would really need an X factor added to it.
McAllister vs Ryder
Nothing unique in this. Could easily see Keaton added into the mix.
Titus vs Theron vs Lebelle
Another simple build

No tag match is deliberate. Cooper's win throws a massive spanner in any plans. Keaton gets added to KFAD with Mancini & Vee etc. I believe The Hollow Ones enter that too.

The crazy thing is that I don't know who Saxton faces. Or Blades. Unless that's the Hollow Ones...

The actual show will be better but it needs something more.

Half are predictions, and the other half is fantasy booking. Enjoy

------------------------------------

World Championship
Mikey Stormrage (c) vs. Justin Cooper

  • World champ vs. Lottery winner
  • No shenanigans, really

Constantine vs. Austin Reynolds vs. Abel Hunnicutt

  • Agreed with Numbers - would make for an interesting match
  • Story of Austin Reynolds finally submitting to Vis Imperium, or does he fight back
  • This can go extremely personal and involve family

Eurasian Championship
Titus Avison (c) vs. Mark Keaton

  • Mark Keaton is forced to relinquish the tag titles due to Cooper's title match
  • Titus was the one who instigated the stripping of Keaton's titles, saying he can't carry the belts... y'know, heel moves and such.
  • Hell, Titus can even convince that the Tag Team division is no longer, and to put the belts on the shelf for a while.
  • Titus bullies Keaton, saying he is nothing without his tag partner
  • Story of Keaton proving to everybody that he is just as good as any competitor, and that Keaton is not just a tag team wrestler
  • Good underdog story can be created here.

The Hollowed Ones vs. Garth Black & Eve Taylor

  • Phoenix & Garth Black have history
  • Garth Black has been rumoured as the man behind the Hollowed Ones, and having him fight them is his move to show he isn't responsible
  • Management can even question Garth Black about his involvement, leading to Black snapping and challenging the Hollowed Ones.
  • Tyrone Blades eliminated Eve Taylor in the Lottery, the match she desperately wanted to win
  • Tension between Black/Taylor
  • I can keep going - there are so many story elements here.

Elite Openweight Championship
Noah Ryder (c) vs. Logan McAllistor

  • The obvious rematch
  • McAllistor swears to get his title back, and is angry at Ryder for doing what he did
  • Ryder can play the oblivious character, due to his forgetful gimmick
  • The face vs. face dynamic can really be manipulated here (like Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville)

Action Saxton vs. Xander LeBelle

  • C'mon, y'know this is going to happen
  • It's Doc vs. TBK - if they haven't planned this, I'll be shocked.

King For a Day - World Title Briefcase
Matt Tastic vs. Vee A.D.Z vs. Veejay vs. Flex Mussel vs. Blackjack Theron vs. Batti Otaku

  • Good mix of established talents
  • Bring back the World title Briefcase - more interesting
  • Matt Tastic's only missing accomplishment is the KFAD. If he wins, he'll become the first ever character to win everything... if we include the Gold Rush main event draw as a win.
  • Can you imagine Batti Otaku as the KFAD briefcase holder?

#1 Contenders - Midcard title shot
Anthony Mancini vs. Xaitlyn Serpiente

  • This replaces the KFAD midcard title shot briefcase
  • Both have been steadily improving + it's something to do for them
  • Also, these were the last two people on my list, so...
  • Winner gets a midcard title shot at the following PPV.

This actually fits an idea I had.

I'll give KC Booking a go as well....

Main Event

WZCW Championship : Champion Mikey Stormrage vs Justin Cooper

Justin Cooper puts his career on the line during a heated mic battle on Meltdown. The stakes are raised.

Eurasian Championship : Champion Titus Avison vs Blackjack Daggersheild in a best two out of three falls match.

Elite Openweight Championship Champion Noah Ryder vs Logan Mcallister vs Xander Labelle

Garth Black vs Eve Taylor Hell in a Cell. Winner is General Manager of Meltdown for a full round.

Constantine vs Austin Reynolds with Special enforcer Abel Hunnicut on the outside of the ring, and Luchador Lumberjacks too.

Tag Team Championship

Matt Tastic and Flex Mussel vs Mark Keaton and ???

Batti Otaku and Action Saxton vs The Hallow Ones

KFAD Match : Veejay vs Tony Mancini vs Vee A.D.Z vs Abel Hunnicut vs Luke Manson vs Xaitlyn Serpiente

What I think it'll be:

Mikey Stormrage vs Justin Cooper (WZCW Championship)
Eve Taylor vs Garth Black
Titus vs Daggershield (Eurasian)
Constantine vs Hunnicutt vs Reynolds
LeBelle vs Action Saxton
Tastic vs Blades
Mussel vs Phoenix
Ryder vs McAllister (Elite X)
Keaton & ??? vs Mancini and Serpiente (Tag Team)
Veejay vs Vee A.D.Z vs Manson vs Kagura... (KFAD)

I thinik explaining most of the above has been covered elsewhere, so I'll go fantasy.

What I'd do if I was booking

Mikey Stormrage vs Eve Taylor vs Justin Cooper (WZCW Championship)

Eve and Mikey has been the building storyline and the fact it isn't the match shows the limitations really of the e-fed process- if you book on merit then guys like Cooper will give you a booking headache. It's not hard to inject this into the story - Mikey could have promised Eve a title shot yada yada. Anything really, but it would give us the finality we obviously need.

Matt Tastic and Garth Black (w/Becky Serra) vs The Hollow Ones for control of WZCW programming

Tastic is Mr. WZCW. He's done everything, and been everything you should be. Black hates WZCW, but also doesn't appreciate the Hollow Ones sticking their wick in. Serra asks Black as an absolute last resort and he accepts.

Constantine vs Austin Reynolds (Retirement Match)

This is about as high stakes as an E-Fed can get. These characters have both done loads and there may not be anywhere else to go for them, creatively speaking. It'd obviously be a huge undertaking on the handlers, but if they were down, I think it'd be cool.

Xander LeBelle vs Theron Daggershield vs Tony Mancini vs Veejay vs Vee A.D.Z vs Xaitlyn Serpiente (KFAD for Eurasian/Elite Title)

Seemingly not much going here except filling in the numbers, right?

Titus and ??? vs Keaton and Flex Mussel (Tag Team Championship)

Titus is a complete cowardly piece of shit at the moment. He knows he'll make history if he doesn't lose the Eurasian title here, so he talks himself into the tag match with his mystery partner. Except, he doesn't have one. He's taken on this challenge so he doesn't have a Eurasian match. He will probably lose, and the KFAD will probably have a sitting duck. Fans go home happy.

Batti Otaku vs Action Saxton

Wrestling is supposed to be fun sometimes.

Noah Ryder vs Logan McAllister (Elite Championship)

I do think this one has written itself, unless anyone else writes their way in.

Abel Hunnicutt's open challenge - last 3 minutes and you're in Vis Imperium

There's always a surprise at KC, and I think there's still mileage in this stable, even if Reynolds and Constantine have collapsed. For me it's straightforward - have the winner of that stay in the group with Hunnicutt, Holmes and whoever you debut here to replace the other guy.

So, I'm not going to bother going completely realistic. I'm going to pull a Tasty and see what would make it fun for me. I will be generally sticking with people on the roster, though I may tap a few outside names just to mix it up. I should note a few things, though it may ruin the magic for some...

Saxton was never meant to be back full time. The Lottery entry was a favor to Dave since he approached me, and he thought it'd be cool to have a video package and I wanted to RP for the match as a way to make it more unpredictable and to give people a nice look into what Saxton's been doing outside of WZCW. It worked for some, it didn't for others, but such is life.

The RP where Saxton and LeBelle run into each other was planned long, long before I agreed to be in the LL. I don't expect a match between the two, and I don't really see much benefit outside of it being a decent story. That said, that RP and a little bit of Lottery interaction was all it needed in my eyes. I much prefer being LeBelle's manager rather than his opponent. TBK and I have faced each other over the years as many different characters, and in my eyes one of our big-deal matches already happened three years ago in the finals of the Battle Bowl. I see why people would want to see it, but it's not something I have planned.

That said, I had so much fun with the LL that I have opened myself up to a possible part-time position, so I'm rolling with the potential for a last KC match. I have my preferences, so let's see where this takes us.

WZCW Championship
Mikey Stormrage (c) vs Eve Taylor vs Justin Cooper

-This one is a simple story. Mikey vs. Eve is a money match. Cooper is the spoiler. I like this because it plays into the story Cooper has had for years now, that he is the spoiler the people at the top should fear. He's the X-factor, he's the Lottery winner, and it doesn't matter what Mikey and Eve might want, he's ready to get his chance at the top. He has enough fan support to make his role work, but so do the others. It'd lead to a very vocal, very divided fanbase. I don't think anyone needs to turn to make this work, they're just three people on a collision course in the main event of the biggest show on Earth.

WZCW EurAsian Championship
Titus Avison (c) vs. Xander LeBelle (w/Andrew Adonis)

-Titus Avison is a slimy snake, isn't he? He's been weaseling his way through the year with his championship in tow, embarrassing competitors and generally being a wily and intelligent competitor with an iron grip on the supposed greatest championship in WZCW today. Well, I say that the only way to defeat someone as slippery as Titus Avison is to send in the only guy in the company smarter and more resourceful than he is. The beauty of eFeds is that we can get away with heel vs. heel, and I could see this as a brilliant back-and-forth contest with the two trying to outdo each other at every turn. It'd be a high-stakes race to the top of the mountain with power play after power play and the match would be exactly the same. Just a great dynamic, like two gamblers with the greatest poker faces on Earth playing a game of death.

Tag Team Match
Action Saxton & Batti Otaku vs. The Hollow Ones

-The Hollow Ones may be a stable with a goal rather than a proper tag team, but I'd like to see them achieve that goal with this roadblock in their way. I love the idea of this match because it plays perfectly with two of my absolute favorite Lottery moments - The Hollow Ones' reveal and Batti and Saxton's alliance. Saxton is a far calmer, more mellow competitor now, ready to impart his wisdom to the next generation. Batti is a spitfire, a widlly entertaining ball of energy. The two could easily play a comedic duo when needed or a classic big-and-small tag team, so a short-lived mentorship deal would be a lot of fun. Tyrone and Phoenix are two greats, and to finally work with Ty would be a blast. Saxton eliminated Phoenix from the LL, too, so it just makes sense to me.

WZCW Elite Openweight Championship
Noah Ryder (c) vs. Logan McAllister

-No reason to change this one. It writes itself. It would likely end up being face-vs-face, and I could see people being split since both men have excellent motives for the title.

GM For A Day
Matt Tastic & Garth Black vs. Vis Imperium (Constantine & Austin Reynolds)

-Unlike others, I'm not ready for Vis Imperium to implode just yet, despite what the Lottery might say. I am loving Constantine's mental dominance over Reynolds and to stretch it to KC would be fascinating. Of course, this is where they'd truly fall apart. The stipulation might seem a bit odd, but I see it as the winning team gaining control over WZCW for a cycle. Tastic, as Tasty said, is basically Mr. WZCW right now, so no doubt he'd be picked as a frontrunner to take on Vis Imperium. Garth would be an unwilling participant but after the feud gets personal he would commit, and the idea that his quest isn't over and he could really achieve his goal in more than just a "top wrestler" fashion is tantalizing. Maybe Garth could get Meltdown and Tastic Ascension?

Grudge Match
Blackjack Theron vs. Tony Mancini

-I admit, I don't know exactly what story these two could go for, but I definitely see some chemistry there. It depends on where the two characters are going, but they've already established some history with the Lethal Lottery Four-Way so it'd be good to build on that. I think it's something that'd really need a story behind it and it has the potential considering the characters to be a good one, but the specifics of the idea are escaping me right now.

Tag Team Match
Flex Mussel & The Beard vs. Remarkable Mark Keaton & Haven

-So, Cooper is out. Mark is a tag champ. Flex needs something to do. Why not recruit other former tag team champs to complete their teams? Beard is a big guy who has had many partners in the past - Local Talent, Le Gentleman Masque, Grizzly Bob, and ElegANT - and to team with Flex would create a mountain of muscle most would struggle to get past. Mark is a colorful, unpredictable kind of guy, so who better than to team with than a colorful, unpredictable superhero? I'm not sure if this would be a tag team title match, per se, but it'd get the champ on the card and in something fun and important.

Triple Threat - #1 Contender's Match
Veejay vs. Vee A.D.Z vs. Xaitlyn Serpiente

-Whether it's for the Elite Openweight or the EurAsian, I see these three characters as having a lot of chemistry because they all represent a wildly different atmosphere and background. You have the mystical side of things with Xaitlyn, the bright lights of Bollywood with Veejay, and a gritty down-to-earth fighter in Vee. The differences between the three would lead to conflicts on the road to KC, and I foresee a lot of segments where each of them wish to win said title or possibly just face off with the champion for a different reason, each of them disagreeing with each others' motives and methods. It's less of a feud and more of, again, three people colliding because of the same goal. It could work!

The Hunnicut Three-Minute Open Challenge
Abel Hunnicutt vs. ???

-I'm just stealing Tasty's idea of a three-minute challenge here because it's good as hell. Give us someone to join Vis Imperium. They can help Constantine beat up Reynolds later that night.

So, I'm not going to bother going completely realistic. I'm going to pull a Tasty and see what would make it fun for me. So no KFAD match?

No. I like KFAD, but I liked the idea of all these other matches too much to want a KFAD. There weren't enough big names left without double-booking to make a World Championship KFAD exciting and I didn't like the sound of the lineup I had for a Eurasian/Elite one either.

KFAD can happen at another PPV, maybe the one after, with a stronger lineup.

I think that Theron-Tony and the triple threat match could be combined to form a KFAD match.

And I think that sounds dull as dishwater.

I would want Stormrage Vs. Cooper itself as the main event.

If we add someone else, it would be unfair to Cooper.

KFAD was switched to a different PPV for one round, and the consensus at the time (amongst creative at the very least) was to put KFAD back at KC as a match to throw people in should we didn't have time to figure out a story, because it sucked a lot of people out of plans for stories on the other PPV.

I wouldn't mind removing KFAD, but that all depends on the creative team's ability to monitor so many stories, as well as the people involved with the stories to help out and give creative suggestions.

This is pure fantasy booking, and it's in the order I'd wanna see it.

Pre-Show - Whoever doesn't have a feud or anything going on. Make it special by giving them matches and lighter fluid. Since I'm no longer killing Creative's budget by buying drums of alcohol, they can afford a second ring for Kingdom Come.

Show Opener

Kagura Joheki vs. Xander LaBelle
  • The mind games would be astronomical.
  • I don't recall these two facing off. Could be a show stealer.

KFAD Match - World Title Case

Ty Burna vs. Garth Black vs. Phoenix vs. Flex Mussel vs. Batti Otaku vs. Action Saxton

  • Is Garth with The Hollow Ones or against them?!?!? The lead up can be explosive.
  • Ty Burna, not Tyrone Blades. Having the old hellfire and brimstone could raise the stakes in this match.
  • This would break up the monotony of "having a bunch of guys thrown in a match for KCVIII". It would tell a story. Ty Burna gets another chance to become a World Champion through the briefcase. Same for Garth, plus Garth either joining or fighting The Hollow Ones. The quintessential good guys will face off with the fresh evil faction. Batti/Flex can get revenge for Ram. Voila. A lot going on and this won't be some card filler.
  • Come on, you know whoever wins will be interesting with the KFAD.

Tag Team #1 Contenders Match

Tony Mancini & Luke Manson vs. Remarkable Mark Keaton & ???

  • Holy shit we can get two tag team matches on this card.
  • There's been talk of Mancini and Manson's handlers getting into a team.
  • Granted Mark Keaton wants to stay in the Tag Division, he's already a step ahead no matter who teams with him.
  • Quite frankly it is ???'s time to shine.

Elite Openweight Championship - New Orleans Street Fight

Logan McAllister vs. Noah Ryder

  • No real explanation needed. These two will bring the house down.
  • It's in New Orleans. Street Fights are fun to read.

Tag Team Championship - 3 on 2

Vis Imperium vs. Live Mas

  • We are hard pressed on tag teams, and reunions are Kingdom Come worthy.
  • Cooper & Keaton relinquish the belts, making them vacant. Vis Imperium swoops in and claims them.
  • Mikey loses his belt to Justin Cooper before KC due to Vis Imperium/Hollow Ones interference. It would be a genuine shocker.
  • The antics of Mikey and Matt would make for an entertaining read leading up to their confrontation.
  • This would give Stormrage a 4th tag team title run if he wins, pulling himself ahead of every tag team champion by a fair distance.
  • Why not?

Eurasian Championship Match - Steel Cage

BlackJack Theron vs. Red Mask

  • It's a call-back to "One Last Stand: Total Mayhem" between Vega and Red Mask. We don't do enough call-back matches.
  • Theron vs. Titus Avison is and will always be a dream match. You have two of the biggest faces the company have ever seen, but now Titus is the lowest of the low. Theron must fight someone akin to his idol, and to add insult to injury Titus dons The Red Mask to take Theron to a hardcore place...a place he hasn't been before.

World Championship Match - Special Guest Referee

Eve Taylor vs. Justin Cooper

  • It's been Eve Taylor's year. The build up has been godly. Not seeing her in the Main Event would just be weird for me.
  • Cooper turns heel, giving us something akin to Chael Sonnen.
  • Special Guest Referee: Steamboat Ricky. Because it'd be cool, that's why.
