Praise an actor/actress thread.

We have the opposite, so might as well start this one as well. The idea is pretty simple, pick an actor or actress you like and praise them.

My pick to begin with will be Miranda Cosgrove. Now I'm sure she'll (and I) will catch a lot of crap for this pick, considering she is widely know for Nickelodeon and their sitcoms, but the girl is actually quite an actress. Her show, iCarly, he a hit on Nick, a widely watched sitcom by all demographics (in part due to clever script writing), and is very charismatic in front of a camera, as evidenced by her part on iCarly. She can play different parts, as evidenced by her playing of the evil little sister Megan on former Nick sitcom, Drak and Josh, her smart, class valedictorian character in the movie School of Rock, and her perky, fun, charismatic character in iCarly. She has acting experience and is widely promoted by Nick, even having a singing career (which...well...I won't talk about that one). She may not be anywhere near the greatest actress in the world, but out of all the Nick/Disney kid actor's in the past few years, you could venture to say she is the best, either her or Raven Symone. So I feel she deserves some praise just for what she probably has to take for playing on a show like hers.

So that is a pick of mine, what do you guys think?

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost​

As I mentioned in the Movie Review Thread, I could sit there and watch these guy just talk for five hours straight. I can never get tired of them. Every single movie they've ever done together has been absolute gold. Shaun of the Dead is one of my all-time favorite movies, Hot Fuzz being up there as well. They have the best chemistry out of any on-screen duo in Hollywood, and it's not even close. If anyone deserves a special mention at the (or near the) top of the thread, it's these guys.
