Here is something sensible to debate.
I am debating to end this lease on my current apartment and by a cheap house in this current house market, or sign a new lease. My current rent runs 1200 a month or less with utilities, but a "so so" house in a good neighborhood, that can be better with some elbow grease would run me 1600-1800, with everything. Its a 3 bedroom and I am single and could rent the rooms if trouble arose. I work as an EMT and am currently in the Fire Academy, and that's a study job, but EMTS/Firefighters are dropping left and right currently. So my question is. Is running the risk for a house that could maybe one day be flipped for double its current worth, worth the trouble of the extra cash, and risky market?

Yeah I am aware it isn't a thread its just if you wanted something, I offered this. Dropping primarily budget but the market is doing better for them, just you need a lot more qualifications now.
