Possible Role For Ric Flair: Dolph Ziggler's Manager

The idea of Flair being paired up with Ziggler does interest me but at the same time, Ziggler's been stuck with a manager for so long that a large part of me would much rather see him compete on his own. It's obvious that he's solid in the ring and I think he's more comfortable on the mic now than he was a year ago. I think he has the tools to be a singles star without an association with Flair.

I wanted Dolph to go out on his own for months now, but now that this idea has been brought into the picture, I would absolutely love it. Ziggler would bennefit so much from it. Flair would teach him to pick the same tendencies he had. Could you imagine a Flair promo before a match with Ziggler standing by his side.

"ZIGGER IS GONNA WIN BECAUSE HE IS THE NEXT BIG THING. HE IS THE NATURE BOY REINCARNATED. WOOO!"

He is perfect for Ziggler, I couldn't think of any body better he could make him a face or even more of a heal and the look Ziggler has blonde hair etc, plus the show off and the dirtiest player in the game, it writes itself

If he does what he did with H, it'll be gold. Walk behind him to the ring. Help him win dirty. Teach him a few things. If flair says zigglers the man. More ppl will buy into. He's talented as shit. Flair is a better heel anyway. He's ric fucking flair.

There is no downside to having Flair manage Dolph Ziggler. WWE fans will mark out for Flair's return to "the" wrestling show, "WOO!" chants will come back in style and there will be enhanced focus on Ziggler. Even if it doesn't pan out, Ziggler will be in a better spot because being managed by the Nature Boy is a feather in his cap.

I'd have him publicly dump Vickie and introduce Flair as his manager in one shot. You could do a quick match on the same show between Ziggler/Flair and Swagger/Guerrero that ends with Ziggler coming out on top. Have Swagger tear up the midcard afterward with the undivided focus of Guerrero as his manager so Ziggler will look that much better by beating him.

With Flair's star power attached to Ziggler, he's main event ready. Feud him with Cena, Punk, Sheamus or any main event babyface. Whenever Ziggler outgrows Flair as manager they can have a "street fight" or hell even a wrestling match if WWE is cool with ignoring his retirement. Ziggler won't get overshadowed by Flair, he has everything to gain.

I think they would be a perfect match as long as Flair doesn't overshadow Ziggler. Flair could walk him to the ring, he could chime in during his promos, help him win dirty, but he couldn't go off on his tangents because if he talks to much there is no way Ziggler could compete with him on the mic. I think Flair could lead him to a world title if it is handled right and it is something I would definitely like to see.
