I read earlier that Snitsky was backstage at Raw this past week, and WWE had discusses the possibility of bringing him back. What do you guys think about this? I mean Snitsky has been gone long enough for the current WWE fan to have forgot about him. His biggest angles really don't go with WWE programming today, and I'm sure they wouldn't even mention his past (he brutally beat down Kane, and caused Lita to have a "miscarriage") I'm sure if they would mention him it would just be that he was a "monster" from the past. I always thought Snitsky was a decent talent and if booked right could have been a good transitional main eventer with guys like Cena, Orton, Taker, etc. I don't really see him fitting in now though, both rosters are crowded with heels as it is. If they were to revamp the tag team division I think him and Tyler Reks would be a good pairing or call up Eli Cottonwood and pair those two. My questions are:

What do you think of WWE possibly resigning Gene Snitsky?

What was your opinion on Snitsky in the past?

How would you book him?

How do you see him being booked?

I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. I don't like the fact Snitsky is returing. Personally I liked him in 2004 when he was a monster heel but then his character became bland and uninteresting and he began to piss me off. I don't see why they feel the need to bring him back? WWE have enough monster heels at the moment (Sheaums, Henry, Khali, Brodus Clay (when he returns from movie shooting)). If the needed more then they can easily turn Big Zeke, The Big Show or Kane a heel. Why bring Snitsky? If they push him it will unfair to guys who deserve a push and more TV time than him like Zack Ryder, Tyson Kidd, Trent Barretta, Masters and Drew McIntyre and if they have him in that unrelevant role like in early 2008 then what was the point in bringing him back?! Personally I don't think they need him, I think WWE may just be getting to share his experience with the younger guys and possibly help guys in FCW. I don't think he will pushed, atleast I hope not. I mean if they find something meaningful for him to do like an intresting midcard feud with Kane then it may be intresting but I think guys like Brodus Clay or Big Zeke can do a 10x better job. I am not excited by WWE considering to resign Gene Snitsky.

Snitsky will be a grotesque-looking monster heel with a unique character, but ultimately he'll just be used as enhancement talent and fall into the litany of monster heel jobbers.

I mean, personally, I enjoyed his work. His matches were watchable squashes and his mic work was semi-entertaining. But he is simply going to be that big man who makes others look better. And that's perfectly fine. At least he will be a contributor to the company, in some magnitude.

1.I think it'd be great

2.Because my opinion on Snitsky is that he is freaking HILARIOUS :lmao: even his name in itself is funny

3.How would I book him? Same ol NOT MY FAULT funny Snitsky but who wins matches with his brute power. He would eventually be Smackdowns world heavyweight champion imo

4.I see him realistically being booked pretty horribly , because WWE does that shit. They will probably have him start strong like the last run he did but eventually run out of ideas and leave him jobbing to Michael Cole or something

I don't really want to see him everyone week on a full wrestling capacity but if he can put someone over why not. Although I do get the point mentioned before that they have enough monster heel cadidates Zeke, Kane, Henry, Big Show, Koslov, Sheffield(?),Mason Ryan... it's fucking endless (or well that was probably the end but that's a lot )

What do you think of WWE possibly resigning Gene Snitsky?
I think it is a waste of a contract. I personally see him as another Charlie Haas/Chris Masters. He has a run in WWE, gets released, and gets resigned only to be released again.

What was your opinion on Snitsky in the past?
I thought he was decent as a monster heel.

How would you book him?
I would give him a few midcard title reigns

How do you see him being booked?
This relates to my answer to #1. He will be in a few matches here and there and then won't be on television for a period of time. Then he will be released.

1. It would be nice to see the guy back.
2. He has always been a big monster who can work a good match.
3. I would book him as part of a tag team. The E has been working on the tag division and it would be nice to see him put with a small guy just to mix things up a bit.
4. The E will probably book him as a monster heel. He will probably be jobbing to big (size wise) faces like Kane, Show, and Big Zeke. He will probably be jobbing to the heel big men too. Guys like Mark Henry, Mason Ryan, and Khali. Maybe Reks can get a good rub too if he's not released.

If he's used right he can be really good. He's very athletic and really just an all around good guy. I met him at an indy show awhile back and he actually wrestled Abyss in a Monster's Ball match and it was incredible. WWE really dropped the ball on him, they had a great monster heel and they just made him really bland. He honestly became Kane 2.0 without all the supernatural mystique to him. I think if they just let him be a monster heel and play that part and develop a character that works as he goes it will do well. I will bet though that WWE will drop the ball and he will be gone soon without making and impact at all (case and point D'Lo Brown).

Snitksy looks a lot different now to when he was last in the WWE. He actually looks quite normal, and from what I know in his few indy appearences hes made, hes supposed to have been impressive, even playing a face in an NWA aligned promotion. And he won't be dying his teeth yellow again, he has spoke out on his anger at being made to that by Vince McMahon and how he hated it, and how It'd never come off right.

He'd probably be an enhancement talent. Nothing wrong with that. Hopefully they give him a bit more of a personality, and not so much intensity.

First we hear that Trevor Murdoch is returning, and now we hear about Snitsky. Snitsky does not fit in with the other superstars in the WWE today. Snitsky is too big and honestly too weird looking. Also, It is too unbelievable when just about anyone defeats him. I don't want to see Snitsky pushed but I don't want to see him lose matches either. It is a no win situation. I used to love Snitsky and I enjoyed his first few years with the WWE but he just does not belong with the company anymore. Please WWE, do not bring him back!!

So please understand me guys. I like Snitsky, but he does not belong in the WWE at the moment. He entertains me and I have always cheered for him and supported him. I just don't feel that Snitsky would fit the current look and he would most likely be booked horribly.

You know, I actually wouldn't mind Gene Snitsky returning, as long as he is used as a "monster" face, like Big Show. I'd like him to be a mid-card talent on SmackDown, and maybe have a feud with Sin Cara, or Cody Rhodes in a David vs. Goliath storyline. So i'm supporting this all the way.

I was a big fan of Snitsky when he was doing the "it's not my fault" gimmick.. but when he turned psycho, with a bald head and messed up teeth.. I didn't like him as much.. but i always thought him and Kane should have formed a tag team during that time, since Snitsky kind of had the "kane" look :)

but i think it'll be cool to see him back.. hopefully he doesn't become a huge jobber, but he probably will :(

Meh, I could care less. Although it is nice to see a familiar back in the WWE, Snitsky won't amount to much with his second stint with the company. He didn't do much before, he'll do shit more now. He had a good feud with Kane but after that, I just got tired of him. If he wants to be booked like a jobber, then by all means, come back Snitsky. But a World Championship, Mid Card Championship or anything even remotely successful in the WWE for him is out of the question. I'd love for him to be brought back for a tag team with some other big guy but do I care much about his return...no. I’d rather have someone who puts on a good show and entertains me. Snitsky can go somewhere and I couldn’t care lesser.

Wow he cleaned up pretty nicely , I think he could get away possibly not even calling himself Snitsky and/or pretending the past never even existed and have a fresh start

(Though I think he should keep his name and old theme song as I said before that name is GOLD! It just sounds funny and OMFG the theme song "Sniiiitskyyyy durndurndurndurn durndurndurndurn so hilarious imo Just no yellow teeth bs)

I think it'd be pretty pointless to bring him back to an already crowded roster. There are plenty of people there who get little to no TV time as it & re-signing him & Murdoch would be unfair to more deserving talent, guys that actually have the potential to be tomorrow's faces of the company, because face it, Snitsky & Murdoch aren't going to be main event players, and neither will have a run with any major titles (or any titles period). And there's certainly no reason to bring them in just to feed them to Cena, Orton, Del Rio, etc. Maybe as enhancement talent to help get guys like McIntyre & Ryder over, but otherwise, why bother?

The only other reason to bring Snitsky back would be to give the Divas a reason to kick off their boots. They played that up a couple times before & it could be funny. Have him stalking Divas, stealing their shoes, generally harassing them & stuff and then McIntyre or Ryder steps in to play white knight. Lawler would love it, along with any other guys that have a thing for women's feet. Hell, that might even get Quentin Tarantino to tune in every week, that'd be something Vince could brag about! I changed my mind, good idea, bring him on back :p

There are better options around that Snitsky right now. The guy has size and thats about it. Perhaps he has improved since he left the WWE a few years ago but I am not optimistic that he will be bringing anything great to the table if he resigns with the company.

When he got off the steroids his huge acne-covered physique just went to absolute shit, and he ended up a fat mess, without his one up-side - his size. He looked a monster when he was jacked up, and without that had nothing to offer. As I am guessing he will not be on the juice, due to the wellness policy, I can't see him making much of an impact.

He never impressed me

Good grief not Snitsky. I do not want to see him come back. His bad teeth gimmick was awful and his "It wasn't my fault" character was one of the worst in WWE history. If he does return I would book him to job to everyone because he sucks and there are better guys more deserving of a push. He would probably win a match or two then job if he does come back. Nothing monumental or interesting would happen.

What does it really matter guys? He'll be back on tv for like 4 months and then the WWE will realize why they got rid of him in the first place. He might be impressive in size, but where in the roster does he fit in now? He not flashy, he's not charismatic, and he hasn't been in the WWE for as long as veterans like Henry, and Kane have been. I'm sorry, I just don't see it happening, and if it does, it won't be for long.
