I, like yourself, have been reading all of the reports that believe that Lesnar will return tonight and be "Plan C" in tonight's fatal 4-way.
There is something I have not seen discussed....it may not be likely, but part of me is surprised that it hasn't been kicked around as "Plan C".
HHH and Steph clearly stated to Cena that the title could change hands without Cena being pinned.
What would prevent Kane from just constantly trying to lay down to let Orton pin him throughout the match? If the Authority wanted the title on Orton, that's all they would have to do. It would keep Reigns fighting one guy and Cena fighting the other throughout the match to prevent it from happening.
The scenario does remind me somewhat of the finger poke of doom, except with this scenario, the execution likely never happens since they won't end the main event of a PPV with a 3 minute match. Although, I wouldn't be shocked if it happened after 20-30 minutes though. It wouldn't be as upsetting to the crowd as the finger poke did and would draw some serious heat for Orton/Kane/Authority.
Heck, what would even keep HHH from sending Lesnar down to attack Cena when the ref is knocked out, only for Kane to lay down and have Orton pin him? It would create the Lesnar/Cena match for Summerslam easily.
Then again, we could always see the idea kicked around by HHH/Orton throughout the PPV, only for Kane to say he won't do it and create an entertaining match, possibly making Kane a tweener for the future. Personally I would rather see this with Lesnar being involved at the end or after the match.
Ultimately I still think Lesnar costs Cena the title in some way or destroys him after the match, setting up SummerSlam.
At the same time, it would be nice to see something different shake things up a bit.
So what do you think are the odds that WWE does something crazy like this or do you think they will just play it safe and let Lesnar be the only "surprise" to the storyline?
