Has anyone else here bought this service yet?
I'll admit, I was first in line for it and frankly I haven't been disappointed yet. The first week I got Wipeout HD, which is a great game, especially for free. The Avatars and themes are great no matter what they are really, and I've also gotten fieldrunners and a few discounted games off the store.
I already had InFamous so I didn't bother with the trial, but so long as they keep this pace up each month (there are going to be slower weeks, like this one where all that interested me was a Sackboy avatar, lol), it'll be worth $50 bucks by the 3rd month.
That's the thing, it really hasn't got much to do with going online. It's not like Gold for XBL. Online play is still free for PSN. PS+ is about getting free games, themes, avatars, and exclusive offers and videos. They gotta work on their offering but I think they'll start making things worthwhile soon.
