Pants or No Pants

Something that has bothered me in wrestling for a long time are those freaking Speedo-style wrestling tights, Ok I understand that when you do real wrestling, a spandex singlet is the best choice, because of practicality, and in Pro wrestling the "speedo" was once the traditional choice because of practicality, when no one wanted to admit it wasn't real, but we have come a long way I think it's time to put some pants on

and Shouldn't the Iron Sheik Boner be a lesson to us all?
I couldn't find the date, but youtube it, it's against Hulk Hogan, and he goes for the camel clutch

Different people are suited for different things.

Personally, I don't like how half the guys wear black boots + black "speedo" + black kneepads. For some, it fits, though.

My favorite has always been along the lines of HBK, Jericho, and Morrison, but I can't picture Big Show wearing something like that.

Overall, I think people just need to find something that goes with their character and isn't just a solid color with standard boots, kneepads, and tights.

I've always been an anti-pants guy anyways. Noone should be forced to wear bottoms if they don't want to.

Tights always. There's more room for groovy artwork obviously. Bright tights make shit wrestlers more intresting.

I have to side with tradition on this one. Black trunks and black boots almost always means bad ass, I don't know why someone would look tougher by wearing speedos but they do to me. Some of my all time favorite wrestlers are or were pants wearers, but I think trunks look better.

If the guys hot, there's nothing wrong with them wearing tight speedos..

Uually attire matches the persons gimmick, and there shouldn't be a 'standard' attire for anyone.

But, on subject, the really big guys look lame in tights, so therefore pants are the best option.

But if someone like Y2J wore pants, it wouldn't look right.

So, in my opinion, it depends on the size of the wrestler.

Its depend on the gimmick. But i think if there had to be a standard it would be Pants/Tights . I've seen too many terrible looking people in speedos.
