Plus, when he wants to be, Guy can be one of the funniest people here.

Hopefully he can still post a bit here and there, because to use a term in MMA/Boxing, pound-4-pound Guy has definitely been one of the best posters on the site whenever he was able to post regularly.

Guy is my boy, fella. He will be missed in the section but he did the right thing in stepping down if he knew he didnt have enough time to commit to wz, indyjon is the man i would have take over as mod of the section or ferbian.

I don't read much MMA, or post there at all, but if IndyJohn's work in other sections is any indication of what he brings to the table in MMA, he should def be a frontrunner.

Man, Guy is easily one of my favorite posters and Mods. I really hope he sticks around and still posts. The MMA section wouldn't be the same without him.

And here we see who should be the successor to Guy Compton. If he's interested, I'm sure INDYjon22 would be a great candidate to succeed Guy Compton. See, looks good in bold. I really cannot think of anyone else off the top of my head that could moderate this section (outside of some existing staff) as well as GC did.

I'm a very casual MMA fan but I always read the threads there because they are generally very well made and have good posts. Then again, I am sure IC could handle it as the section never gets a huge amount of traffic or trouble?
