"Old Stephanie is back"

Pre-Show Stalwart
We hadnt seen a heel stephanie in years, last night was a great promo by steph. i think she deserves pipebomb of the week, she was really good, and it was like the old stephanie but should she really be forcing guys to wrestle,
hhh can fire someone, the shield and ryback can kick butt, but still big show aint influenced to hurt bryan till steph says so, is this kinda saying that hhh aint nothing compared to steph. and big show aint scared of the beatdowns either. i felt this was bad for business in reality this kinda made the shield and hhh look weak...

I'm becoming a fan of Stephanie's role within the new McMahon dynamic. Her emotional sensitivity, composed nature and mild mannered approach on how she deals with wrestlers and does business is the perfect compliment to Triple H's ruthless aggression and blunt decision making. Stephanie is able to act and say the right things as a heel while doing it in a nice way. She's still just as conniving as Triple H, but much more discreet.

SPOT ON. Stephanie's character now is more complex and compelling than it has ever been which doesn't make me say that "Old Stephanie is back" but makes me grateful that "New Stephanie is Here". Much like HHH, Steph has been so locked in the face role that some have forgotten how good she is (IMO she and HHH are better) as a heel. She's no longer the whiny, needy, little bitch who yells and screams like a little girl throwing tantrums. She's so past that, a mature businesswoman who can now use intellect to get what she wants and I love how that's translating on WWE TV.

As for Triple H and The Shield looking weak, that's a ridiculous claim because we all know that they've beaten down everyone on the roster. Stephanie's involvement last night showed more that they have infinite options of control, whether it's the business (Triple H), physical (Shield), or psychological/personal (Stephanie) aspects of each wrestler.

Truth be told, whether face or heel, Stephanie is always a domineering boss character wise. Remember how she ripped Kaitlyn's head off for interrupting her a while ago? Yeah, she was a face. Stephanie was a whiny, spoiled brat, who dressed provocatively and wore more make up during her early days with Triple H, Chris Jericho, and others. But ever since she started dressing more professional and maturing character wise as a business woman, Stephanie portrays the strong woman, who won't take shit from anyone.

I honestly think the "killing them with kindness" stuff is something we'll only see with Show. Right now, besides Daniel Bryan, Big Show has become another target for the wrath of the McMahons and Triple H. And Last night, Stephanie degraded Show with a more narcissistic and condescending approach by bringing up their history from the past. I don't think we'll see any major changes out of Stephanie character wise. She's a heel now, and she's entertaining in her role, so I don't see the need for much of an overhaul.

The promo was solid and she is doing well in her role. I think that it's important that it is not just Triple H on himself and Steph is very important for that. I am cautious because some of her promo work can be boring and repetitive. Triple H and Vince are obviously better but Steph can still be an important person in this angle.

I think the biggest pipebomb was Daniel Bryan pretty much telling the truth about Randy Orton. The only reason Orton became a wrestler was because he screwed up at doing anything else and then out of desperation asked his dad to get him into the business. He really doesn't have the heart of a champion. Triple H couldn't even come back from that promo and was reduced to "why you so mad?"

That being said I'm going to have to disagree with Stephanie being any good. It's always awkward when she's talking. The whole Big Show thing was stupid and didn't make any sense.
