Oh My God Moments...

I hope this thread isn't already on here, i tried searching for anything like this and couldn't find anything so im sorry if im replicating.

I have just recently come back from Houston, Texas where i was lucky enough to attend Wrestlemania 25. I have created this post because i wondered what everyone else would class as there best ‘Oh My God’ moment.

I ask this because i watched Undertaker land on his head when he dived over the top rope when he faced HBK at WM25 and i instantly thought ‘Oh My God, he’s either dead or he is really hurt. Either way i thought there is no way he can continue this match... ’

I couldn’t believe that Taker was able to tuck his head quickly enough to avoid most of the impact, which could have ultimately been a fatal move. Unbelievably he was able to continue this match and finish one of the greatest matches i have ever seen.

Other ‘Oh My God’ moments have been things like Jeff jumping from the ladder and nearly breaking his ass at Wrestlemania 2000, Shane falling about 40 feet off the stage after being his by Steve Blackman (which i think was at Summerslam?) and The Great Khali actually becoming face (lol)

I wondered what were YOUR best ‘Oh My God’ moments and when they occured so people can try and trace them back and to view them for themselves (That is at least if you pick something that hasn’t been covered a lot in the media.)

Cheers everyone...

Owen Hart, free fall extraordinaire. I was all like, ''WFT!! is this a work''. Same with Benoit.

Or I'd go with Foley falling off a cell. It's still being used 11 years on. Foley isn't even in the company anymore.

YES!!!! How the hell did he survive. When they showed the replay of that, it looked like his head planted right into the ground. No way did WWE intend for Taker to come that close to paralyzing himself, it is way too risky. I'm a big wrestling fan myself, and I even thought the match was over at that point.

As for my OMG moment, Kurt Angle missing the moonsault from the steel cage was pretty ugly. I'm pretty sure he tore a muscle in his knee from that

smillar to the undertaker falling on is head durring this years wrestlemania. Borock lesnar not hitting the shooting star press and crash landing on his head. I thought he was dead. to be honest

Jesus, probably any match where Hayabusa fucked up a move. Which was a lot. Including his Lionsault (I forgot the official name but Hayabusa pretty much invented it) that ultimately paralyzed him. I think he is walking again though.

Death...no biggie. :lmao:

One of my biggest markouts was when ECW and WCW joined up against Raw. I was like 15 or so, and it shocked the hell out of me.

Another one, for me, was seeing Austin pass out in the submission match. That match, and angle, was so intense, and that match capped it all so well. It had everything, and to see Austin pass out from the pain rather than submit to that vile Canadian was everything that period was about.

John Cena has had alot of "Oh my god" moments, throwing Edge into the bay, F-Uing Big Show, returning at Royal Rumble, but most of his "Oh my god" moments are from his promo's, not his in-ring work.
I, myself, didn't have the ability to watch Owen Hart's fall, but I was around to see Eddie die, I can honestly say I cried, Eddie was hugely over for me, and I felt like WWE lost alot of the comedy that made it watchable.

The Undertaker throwing Mick Foley off the Hell in a Cell structure is definately up the top of the list of best 'OMG' moments. It's such an iconic scene because it showed how much of a bad ass The Undertaker was to throw someone off something that high into an announce table and then through the top of the cell into the ring. It's also replayed to this day and if you think of Hell in a Cell, that's usually the moment everyone remembers and tells you about. Mick Foley risked his body and life just to create something special. Shows his dedication to professional wrestling right there.

Edge spearing Mick Foley through the flaming table at WrestleMania 22 was also definately a huge 'OMG' moment. There's Mick Foley again risking his body to create something special. Probably my faveourite moment from WrestleMania 22.
