My name is Rey Mysterio. You kill my father. Prepare to die. -Rey Mysterio as Inigo Montoya

Rey Mysterio may not be the biggest, he may not have the coolest catch phrase, and he may never have been "the man", but that doesn't mean he's not one of the most entertaining, over, exciting, brilliant wrestlers of all time. From the way he's inspired millions of fans to the endless amounts of great matches Rey has been a part of, Rey is proof that big things come in little packages.

His resume is impressive. Three time World Champion, two time Intercontinental Champ, multiple time Tag Team Champ, a Royal Rumble winner (spending the longest length of time in a Royal Rumble ever), and an 8 time Cruiserweight Champ between WCW and WWE. That's not to mention his non-kayfabe achievements, including Wrestling Observer's rookie of the year award, match of the year award (tag match with Edge against Benoit and Angle), most outstanding wrestler, best flying wrestler, and best wrestling maneuver.

But all that is secondary to Rey's biggest factor: the dude has more great matches than anyone you can name. Yes, that includes Angle, Benoit, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and Taker. Rey Mysterio puts on great matches in his sleep. Halloween Havoc 96 and 97, No Mercy 2002, The Bash 2009, WrestleMania 21, 22, and 27... not to mention the countless phenomenal matches he's put on week in and week out on the weekly television shows.

Over the course of this tournament, I will prove time and time again why Rey Mysterio is the rightful heir to the WrestleZone Tournament Throne. I hope you join me in the process.

Vote for Rey Mysterio: An American Hero

I take this as you pledging your undying support to Rey Mysterio?

Something like that. I can't think of anyone better to support, really, though if he bumps up against someone I really think is better I'll probably abandon ship. You understand.

The path for Rey won't be easy, but it's not impossible! Abdullah the Butcher should be an easy win, followed up with a tough, but definitely winnable match against Chris Benoit. Then comes the real challenges: Randy Savage and Triple H. Luckily for Rey, he's much more entertaining and relatable than either of those men. After that it's a match between Undertaker or Kurt Angle. I'm hoping for Angle, but Taker isn't unbeatable either. From there, he'll likely get Hulk Hogan or John Cena, and if he makes it past either of them he'll meet Rock, Sting, or Stone Cold in the final.

It'll be tough, but not impossible. Rey has more great matches than all of the aforementioned combined, and that is why he should win the WrestleZone tournament!

That's true... that's very true.

I'm going to pull so many Bubba arguments out of my ass. Don't worry, that's where I keep all my best ideas.

Has Rey Mysterio ever had a fork shoved in his head? No, and he wears a luchadore mask! The shock of having his cultural heritage ripped asunder by dinner utensils will be enough to cost him the match.

The fact that Rey Mysterio has never had a fork shoved in his head leads me to believe that it is impossible to shove a fork in Rey's head.

Are you really arguing against Rey here, Samuel?

I'm just saying, people have used Rey's mask against him to win before - namely Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio. They used their bare hands. Forks? Forgettaboutit.

And plenty of folks have tried to use Rey's mask against him and failed. In fact, more often than not those that try to remove Rey's mask only invoke his ire, and wind up eating a 619 or getting rolled up with a vengeance.

Also, removing Rey's mask usually takes more than a quick jab, guys have to yank at it throughout the match to remove it. And have you seen Abdullah's hand? Dexterity does not look like it is one of his strong suits.

ADDITIONALLY... Rey is the better wrestler in every imaginable way.

Not sure I see a significant difference between getting a crappy tattoo and being stabbed by a fork. Ipso facto Rey can easily handle being stabbed by a fork. Furthermore, if his mask was torn up by a fork the ref would have pretty obvious grounds to DQ Abdullah.

Referees are pretty oblivious. Oblivious to suspicious looking fork wounds? Probably.

Abdullah was never very coy. He just went after his opponent with total disregard to the rules and stabbed away. He got DQ'd a lot, I don't think he'd be too concerned about it happening again here.

That is, if me can even catch Rey with the fork. Rey's not exactly going to be locking up with Abdullah.
