Official: Hard Justice 2007 Thread

Well after Impact this week we have the biggest main event ever in TNA history as Samoa Joe will face Kurt Angle at Hard Justice with the winner getting the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, the TNA X Division Championship, the TNA World Tag Team Title and Japan’s IWGP Championship. Now that is a huge match as one man will hold all the gold and that is something today wrestling world. Now looking at this match they have been pushing Joe to the moon for awhile now though I have this strange feeling that Angle will win. But not such a bad thing as Joe will begin to screw Kurt out of his other gold except the TNA Championship where Joe will win at Bound For Glory. Those this should be a good match with lots of action but i see Angle winning.
Never has holding so many tittles meant so little. Non of them have much value. And if Joe wins it wont really do that much for him. This whole angle is really stupid. The only positive I see is that if Joes has all the belts then he possibly has to defend them all at each PPV. I'm fine with more Joe. The thing is he'll probably just drop them at the iMPACT after the Pay Per View, and he will have gained nothing from it.

Pre-Show Stalwart
The Joe/Angle match should be good or better, b/c their previous three matches all were. However like those previous matches I feel TNA is again jumping the gun on this match! Their biggest PPV of the year(Bound for Glory) is in 3 months, and it would make the most sense for them to build towards an ultimate showdown between these two men for that event. How about a 60 minute Iron Man Match this time!
If BFG is TNA's WrestleMania, then they should treat it as such. When the calendar turns to January, we the fans already have an idea of what the mainevent at WrestleMania will be. It's in seeing how that mainevent comes about that makes the road to WrestleMania so much fun. Now imagine if TNA did this for BFG! Imagine if they began building towards the ultimate showdown between Joe and Angle at BFG now.

I didnt know that you could defend the IWPG title at a TNA event.
But I agree with chesswiz77 that they should have waited till there biggest ppv to do this match.
But on that note I always though Slammiversary were there biggest ppv?
I guess we will have to wait for some more match's to be annouced to get a propper feel of the PPV, but i kinda like the idea of one match for all the gold, gives it a special kinda feeling, or is that just me?

Dark Match Winner
yeah i was thinking about what tna would do for bound for glory and i felt that they would have joe finally win the world title at BFG, so either joe loses and angle runs around tna furthering the arrogance of his character and then joe finally shuts him up at BFG by beating for the title, or tna jump the gun and have joe win at hard justice
Well is about that time since the PPV is this sunday I feel i shall give my predictions and what not so here they be...
Winner Taker All Match for the TNA World, X Division, Tag Team and IWGP Titles
Kurt Angle (c) vs Samoa Joe (c)
This is one match that I do seem pointless as for me they should have saved this match for Bound for golry but they didnt. This looks like the end for the X championship though i hope not as hell TNA can treat it like WWE crusierweight gold. I see this beinga good match prolly 20-25 mins. It will be close but i see Karen Angle helping kurt win and all along she and kurt were playing Joe at his own game. So i see Angle winning with the help of his wife
Doomsday Chamber of Blood
Sting, Abyss and Andrew Martin vs Christian Cage, AJ Styles and Tomko
This match looks really pointless to me as no way Abyss will win as Mitchells guy will make his appearance and what not. Styles, tomko please no way they will win. Martin just came and i see him and Tomko getting a feud going on after this. Leaving only Sting and Cage and I feel that Sting will win just for that if Angle wins they need a face and i can see Sting getting the pinfall on Styles.
Team 3D vs The Steiner Bros.
Would have been a good match back in the day but now nope. Too old and only good thing both will stife with one another but i see Steiners winning as they getting a decent face push, This feud will contunie though

Humm fighting in a real bar i still storm winning as Rhino is nothing more than a jobber in TNA know so ya Storm

I see this match as nothing but a way to get LAX over more as a face team and it lookslike they will be getting a small push so LAX will win

Yawn...if TNA really thought of Harrus as the future he will win but he wont and Rhodes will win

Should be a quick tag team match but wont be given enough time so i see Triple X winning just becuase the have reformed and look like they getting pushed

Bound For Glory is TNA's biggest PPV, their "WrestleMania" if you will. I'd be incredibly pissed off if they did that match at BFG. 1) Because it's their fourth match together and it's nothing new and 2) because that'd mean all the titles are tied up in one match, removing nearly all the point out of the other big matches.
I'm just saying that way they wee bulding this up it looks like they were going that direction. I wouldnt be that pissed as from what it looks liek it be Angle vs Jarrett and BFG and i rather see another Joe vs Angle at BFG. I doubt that TNA would do all the gold in one match at BFG in the first place but this match at Hard justice is just a match to put Angle over more and in a way bury Joe as what will be left for him to do know
My Predictions:
#1 No fire this year.
Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe: I'm sure it will be an excellent match. But the thought of them facing each other again doesn't fill me with excitment. And that's what it should do. I cant see Kurt with the X-Title so I'll go with him picking up the victory.
Sting, Abyss & Test vs. Christian, Tomko & Styles: Looks like it's up to Styles to take all the athletic bumps. Should be a good match. But I'm sick of all these formwer WWE superstars, and of Sting & Abyss being aligned. I'll go with a Cage victory.
The Steiners vs. Team 3D: It's a sad thing when I'm more intrested in seeing The Steiners together than the former Dudleyz. Theis match doesn't intrest me. The only one I dont want to retire is Devon. I used to be a huge Steiner mark but now I just dont care. I'm predicting a double count out.
Rhino vs. James Storm: Both deserve monster pushes in my opinion. I dont think there's any need for the gimmick match. I'll go with a Storm victory. Should be decent.
Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode: Dont care.
LAX vs. VKM: Dont care again. LAX deserve better. At least they SHOULD pick up the victory.
Chris Harris vs. Dustin Rhodes: Dont care x3. Harris should win. So by TNA booking standards he wont.
XXX vs. Motorcity Machine Gunns vs. Dutt and Black Machismo: This match should steal the show. Cant wait for this one. XXX will pick up the victory.

My Predictions:
Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe: Overall, I got tired of these two wrestling during their last encounter. First match was good, second was fair, third was getting old & I thought done with. Now I have to go through it again?? I see Kurt Angle winning with the help of his Wife, & the possibility of Samoa Joe leaving T.N.A.
Sting, Abyss & Test vs. Christian, Tomko & Styles: In my opinion, the real main event of the night. (depending on how they pull of the barb wire on the cage) Abyss somehow won't be a main factor, as Mitchell's new toy will interrupt. I see Sting getting the win over Tomko, or Styles that way Christian will remain undefeated & it'll set up Kurt Angle v. Sting at Bound For Glory.
The Steiners vs. Team 3D: I want this match to excel & be awesome. It has the ability to, or did before Scott's injury.. but I don't know how good Scott will be after whats happened, so this match could be over before it ever gets going. I can see this match being thrown out, to give Scott more time to heal up.. also a hardcore style rematch between them at the next ppv, or Bound For Glory.
Rhino vs. James Storm: I could see Rhino getting the win, to even up the score between the two. But they seem to be building Storm similar to Harris, & plus Storm's main weapon is a beer bottle to the head.. so this is a toss up, between Storm winning via a beer bottle, or Rhino GORING Storm through some type of table.
Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode: I don't even know what the stipulation to this match means? What happens to the loser to ultimately embarrass them? Besides that, what HASN'T Eric done in recent monthes that hasn't been embarrassing already?! This is a complete filler match - but I see Eric winning, just so Roode would have to be on the end of doing something stupid.
LAX vs. VKM: Sadly, VKM was one of the greatest Tag Teams in their generation. Now, they're nothing more than jobbers to LAX.. I see LAX winning, or this match being thrown out to ultimately have a Fatal Four Way with these two as well as the Steiners & Team 3D.
Chris Harris vs. Dustin Rhodes: A lot of people are bad mouthing Dustin Rhodes.. & they haven't even seen his new gimmick yet. I wanna give him a chance, cause I've always liked Dustin. (a lot better than I feel I'll ever like Cody) I see Dustin winning with a new finisher, or cheating.
XXX vs. Motorcity Machine Gunns vs. Dutt and Black Machismo: Possible opening card match. Triple X gets the win, as the other two teams are just there due to no current X Division Champion being able to fight them.
Raven vs. Kaz: Kaz gets over, by pinning Raven. Another sad example of a great star from the past being subjected to losing to wrestlers that don't even deserve being in the same ring. Raven has definately lost his edge, he looks out of shape & bad. Kaz wins to build up something regarding him & a possible X-Division championship match.
Final Notes: Pacman Jones debuts.. Ron Killings is rumored to be there. I can't see Pacman being worth anything since he can't do anything but talk.. Killings may not even be brought in due to that too. Where is Jeff Jarrett???

Alright I guess I should make some predictions, so here we go

First I'd like to say that this feud is getting really old, like really old, both these guys are great wrestlers, and would be put to better use feuding with other guys, but any way as much as I want Joe to win this match I have a feeling that Angle is going to walk away with all the gold
-Doomsday Chamber Of Blood Match
Abyss, Sting, and Andrew Martin vs. Christian Cage, Tomko and AJ Styles
alright from what I understand the guy that gets the pin in this match becomes the number 1 contender, so with that being said I can't see Martin or Tomko winning this match, I highly doubt that Styles or Cage will win especially if they have Angle winning in his match, so that means it would have to be either Sting or Abyss, and since this is Abyss's match and Sting apearently is out to help Abyss, I think that Abyss will get the win in this one, seting up a Ayss/Angle for next month

Steiners vs. Team 3D

I see Angle winning as he is scheduled to win and he ll have all the titles but his wife (oooh is she hot a combination of Catherine Zeta Jones and Kimberly Page) she will go with Samoa Joe as a loss so the angle will continue geeeeez Just like in WCW when Kimberly Page got the supposedly divorce papers and made DDP sign so Eric had the rights to her something like that may repeat again since Russo is there !

Amazing PPV! The matches were great with alot of weapons and were very entertaining. THe barroom brawl was probably my favorite match. The Angle vs. Joe match was also very entertaining. I was sure Angle would win but his wife being on his side was a real surprise. Tonite i've definetley realized i like TNA more than WWE.
On a side note, Homocide was at the CZW event saturday nite, during a fight in the crowd he called this hot girl we were hanging with a c*nt. They had a pretty nice argument lol.

I'll give my overall impression of the ppv in a moment. But first, the Football player.
Well, its official.. Adam "Pacman" Jones has completely ruined T.N.A. in my view. And this is my take on why. He signed an agreement to NOT touch, or be touched in any physical form.. & he went through with that.. to a degree. Now, for those who haven't seen the ppv this is considered a spoiler..
Pacman was shown moments after addressing the crowd, with blood on his face & apparently "so hurt" he had to be carted off. In my personal opinion, every major news outlet in the world is only going to take this & slap wrestling across the face by expressing how FAKE it is.
Wrestling is scripted & has a degree of fakeness.. but cutting/blading has always been real, with real blood as a result. If Pacman indeed WAS busted open.. then he broke his agreement. If Pacman didn't do anything physical, like its to be assumed, then he's only going to make wrestling look even worse through the eyes of those who wanna bad mouth it for being fake & completely unreal. (This will only get worse, with people/news outlets continuing to think the moves don't & can't actually hurt anyone.)
Now then, regarding the wrestling aspect of the ppv. Kurt Angle v. Samoa Joe was once again a Match of the Year quality match, but I only hope that its the last one we see between the two of them.
What the hell is Kip (I secretly want Chuck back) James thinking with his new attire? What has seriously happened to the once former Outlaws?!
That was my take on the downside of the ppv.. The upside, however, of the ppv came at the hands of Scott Steiner who looked AWESOME in his match, proving even ME wrong by dominating with tons of "High Risk" moves that "I" thought he'd never be able to do again.
The *new* Black Reign, Dustin Rhodes, also looked very good. I love the black & silver look, but would've rather he picked a different overall attire than leather pants & a coat. The running stunner that I believe to be his finisher was nice, but could've been better. (say, off the top rope) His club/fist with the sharp object at the end was wicked. I say.. "Let it REIGN, in T.N.A."
The Doomsday barbwire cage match was good, could've been better. And (another possible *spoiler* for next monthes ppv) with Abyss winning, this only means he'll have to wait to get screwed outta the World Championship until next month, when Mitchell's monster finally debuts. On a side note, I know its been reported that someone else is the monster.. but I kinda see Test "The Punisher?" being it. I mean.. Test as a face, come on...

I gotta say, I was laughing at points of this PPV. The Chamber of Blood match was one of the worst, Test was so rusty and what the hell is he doing mimicking the Ultimate Warriors pulling on the ropes.
With the exception of the X-Division 3-Way and Dustin tweaking out, the whole beginning of the pay per view sucked.
Angle/Joe was good, I expected more. It was predictable as hell though. Anybody who has been watching wrestling long enough saw this a mile away.
TNA really needs to stop their game up.

Well, first thank you for not actually giving me the PM-notation. I'm assuming like you said, this is a warning since I didn't know, slightly.
And to clearify, I did read the rules. I just figured that since my post had possible spoilers for people who may not have seen the ppv, it should've been a different post. But I'll know from now on that spoilers or not, it goes under its official ppv thread. Thanks.
Yeah the Pacman jones pissed me off for reasons stated above, not only will it make wrestling look less credible, but christ, the Doomsday Chamber of Blood match was only 12-13 minutes long if I timed it correctly. 1 minute of which they completely cut away to show pacman being put in stretcher...WHO FUCKING CARES. They should've, upon learning he can't do anything physical, sat his ass ringside to do commentary during one of the matches so it got more time.
I do agree with Test being laughable, he looked so damn confused and out of place, heres to hoping he finds his groove soon *raises shot of JD*.
I did absolutely LOVE the Christian Coalition promo before DCOB match, hysterical. Won't go into detail as those who haven't seen it can hear it for themselves when they do.
The opening match was O_O..that was MOTN imo, Joe/Angle started off with a series of reverse headlocks *yawn* oh wait it's only boring to you guys when randy does it right? When anyone else does it its OMGZ TECHNICAL WRASSLIN MASTAH!!111111...but i digress, after that segment the Joe/Angle match picked up, especially near the end, actually had me hoping the obvious end was in fact not to be.
I was surprised to see Lethal over Daniels, in a good way as it was obvious XXX would win due to recent reformation, I'd rather have had Lethal win then the match go to XXX after Elix Skipper got involved. That was the "predictable" moment in the match.
I missed most of Raven/Kaz so will be catching it upon dvd relesae.
I hated Black Reign vs Harris, went on entirely too long for what it was. Either make PPV's 4 hours when you get the 2 hour slot TNA or manage your PPV time more wisely.

Hysterical when Ms Brooks (that her name?) was yelling at Roode as she was flailing her arms about and looked just like a chicken.
Rhino/Storms deserves another *yawn* i personally HATE when they fight "amongst the fans" it's slow paced, hard to follow with camera/eyes as it's fucking FIND WALDO, and just eats up time. After a bit the match picked up but just like Harris/Black Reign, too long for what it was. Was odd that Storms picked up the victory again, but Rhino drinking alcohol during the match is signs of a dark time to come most likely.
VKM vs LAX. As usual, boring match since VKMs old past their prime ass was involved. Again as mentioned above, WTF was with that lame baby blue getup? The end to the match was pretty stupid imo, all that trouble for a roll up pin to presumably turn Hector face towards LAX?
3d vs Scott and Rick. This match surprised me as I was dreading it, as quite frankly I think both teams need to hang it up as they're getting too old, boring, and never changing to keep it up. Glad to see 3d got the loss in this one.
It might sound like I hated it, but actually I had a good time and thought the matches were fun except for some slow starts *yes I know about pacing a match but those were just baaaaaad* in hindsight I wish they had better timed the matches as I feel DCOB could've benefitted from an extra 10 minutes or so as the whole thing just felt rushed. Also, FIRE VKM...PLEASE...They provide NOTHING that any fans ANYWHERE want to see...
