We’re into the second part of NXT now as we have a champion, which means people are going to be gunning for him now. Things have been going very well so far on the show so far and hopefully things keep going the same way now that Rollins won the tournament last week. I don’t think any matches were made for this week already. Let’s get to it.

Are These Guys Capable Of Putting On A Bad Show?

I disagree with you about Kruger's new finisher. It looks pretty fucking brutal, and it fits his new schtick too.

How many people use moves that involve grabbing the head/neck and driving their opponent's face/head into the mat?

I don't care enough to count. But are you arguing that smashing someone's head into the mat isn't likely to knock someone out?

I'll be honest. I couldn't give less of a damn whether one person on the roster, or one dozen use moves that are kinda sorta a little similar. It's a move that looks brutal, and is a different variation on a rarely seen move to begin with. Also, Kruger's used five finishers (Dameon Driver (Cradle Piledriver), Dameon Device (Sharpshooter), Final Destination (Fisherman's Neckbreaker), Sleeper, Kruger-End (his current one)) since 2009. I'd rather him stick with one, at this point.

Smashing someone's head onto a thinly padded stage made of wood and steel is a good way to knock someone out. Why wouldn't lots of wrestlers use that to their advantage? Would you rather go back to the time when legdrops and bionic elbows won titles?

John Cena uses a fireman's carry takeover
Fabulous Moolah used a backdrop
Tully Blanchard used a modified suplex

You can get anything over if you have it win matches, so no I wouldn't have a problem with stuff like legs and elbows winning titles.

To be clear, the move is fine. I'd just like a bit more variety. There are dozens of moves people could do what are different but no one uses anymore.

Everyone coming up has been trained by the same people. Them using similar moves surprises you?

You could make the argument for Kruger falling into that category too, seeing as he was wrestling before Cena had gone to OVW.

Also, it's wrestling. There have been times in the past when Rock, Booker T, Kane, 'Taker and 'Show were using almost the exact same move (how much difference is there between a rock bottom and a chokeslam)? Stop overthinking things like moves. They don't matter one iota.

They do when you have the same ones being used over and over. Would a powerslam or a belly to belly be too much to ask for?

If you liked those moves, you should go back and watch DH Smith matches. Fucker loves him some suplexes.
