Back for another show as this show has been in a bit of a rut lately. Last week’s main event of Steamboat vs. Ohno is probably the main story on the show right now but other than that there isn’t much going on. We should be setting up another opponent for Rollins soon enough which is something we need in the near future. Let’s get to it.

A Solid Wrestling Show, Which You Rarely See Anymore

Is it me, or are Kidd and Gabriel the only tag team in WWE that routinely bust out double team moves?

PTP do it somewhat but other than that suplex D. Young on someone there's just random bits. Uso's do too.
That really irks me about teams. Did you see the Main Event match with Int. Airstrike vs. Cobro? Ryder and Marella seemed lost(As they should against a team with chemistry and experience) but still managed to win.

Thing is though, Airstrike haven't been teaming that long. Their first match together was at 'Mania, followed by Gabriel sitting out for a couple of months. Despite that their double team moves flow like the Machine Guns'.

They are very reminiscent of the Guns aren't they?

I'm also not a fan of Ascensions use of strikes. Don't get me wrong, they're awesome and rapid hits look cool but why isn't it more than stomps? First episode they did elbow drops and they should use more traditional moves. I'd like to see Kenneth Cameron use the german suplex(Or throw as KB pointed out) more.

They need to give up on the Kassius Ohno character....they are wasting that guys time. No one is going to buy that in the main shows. No one.

I guess it must be because both Kidd and Gabriel are two seasoned pros. and even though they haven't worked with each other very long, the fact that both know damn well how to work makes working together easy.

I'm more annoyed at the fact that they're going in and out of the ring on the same side. It looked better when they rotated.

A fine episode all round. I chuckled when JR said it would be "a huge upset" if a team that is on tv every week and in the tag title tournament beat the top team of the minor leagues. LULZ

I also dont like the Eliminator as their finish. It seems like a move more fit for a small team. Id love maybe a spinebuster /hook clothesline combo, like a modified heart attack

Yeah, not a fan of the Total Elimination either. To me it is a move that only looks good when it has been performed so viciously that it is more than likely to injure. Modified Hart Attack would be good but since seeing it at an indy show earlier this year, I would like to see someone use the Wheelbarrow Codebreaker

I'd like that move too if it were done right and not just another hart attack. Like a real stiff sounding clothesline. Thing about moves like hart attack is that the clothesline is just really an assist. With how strong and aggressive the Ascension is I'd like to see Cameron hit a short arm clothesline that more or less decapitates the opponent. Wouldn't happen though Int. Airstrikes finisher is a spinebuster/blockbuster combo.

Oh y'know what would be better? A backbreaker/Elbow drop combo. Nobody has ever used that move! To be honest i don't mind the total elimination and the lapping each other thing looks cool but I'd rather Cameron hit a running big boot rather than a spinning wheel kick.

I quite like Airstrike's Hart Attack variation. I mean you can see how combining a blockbuster with a spinebuster makes it more effective.

It would make more sense for Cameron to do the legsweep and Conor to do a mafia/bicycle kick, seeing as that was his singles finisher.

I love AirStrike's finisher too but i wish that it didn't look so contrived. The opponent just stays held motionless with no real reason as to why. I'd like to see Gabriel hit something as simple as a reverse atomic drop or an enzirigi to set the move up.

I don't care who does it so long as it's done. I'd like to see them still use that DownCast move(Spinning elevated jawbreaker/flapjack) as some kind of signature move akin to the Uso's freefall drop/samoan drop combo. Also both men need single finishers, Cameron used a PerfectPlex a while back that looked good and Connor has a pretty sick big boot. Funny thing, Perry Saturn was at FCW/NXT a couple of months back and then the Ascension started using the Total Elimination at some tapings afterwards. He probably recommended the move no?

Eh, is it really worse than any other variation of a Hart Attack?

Also, they have a secondary finisher, Kidd does a springboard elbowdrop to an opponent draped over Gabriel's knees (like one of Miz & Morrison's old signature moves).

They have them. Cameron's was the spinning Jawbreaker, Conor's was a running big boot/bicycle kick. But yeah, Saturn probably pitched the Total Elimination. It's an improvement on the Downcast.

I'd honestly prefer a fisherman suplex for Cameron and name that the Velvet Noise. The jawbreaker looks like a set up move.
