Now Hiring Raw GM...

Dark Match Jobber
With hopefully this Celebrity General Manager shit winding down after Wrestlemania, who in the hell do you think is the best choice to lead us into the next era? I have been trying to think about logical candidates and have come up pretty stumped. Sure some names have crossed my mind that would be epic but in all reality probably aren't going to happen. I'd love to see Hart make it happen, have Stone Cold stick around for awhile, have Heyman show up and create some nonsense, but those are probably just not going to happen.

You gotta think that once the current situation ends and we do get more if a permanent GM, they gotta pick someone who is gonna take the ball and run with it. We can't have another situation with an Adamle type who doesn't know shit about shit and just gets heat because he is legitimately hated. I wanna see someone who is gonna usher in the new era of Raw for us. I just don't exactly know who fits the bill. Would JR be good if he ever gets better instead of going back to the booth? How about a heel Lawler and bring someone new up to team with Vintage Cole? A former wrestler that still has what it takes on the mic? How about HBK takes a little time off from the ring and call the shots for awhile? I really don't know, I just pray to the Lord above that they don't just throw someone in there for the sake of throwin someone in there and fuck it up. And please for the love of God don't let it be a McMahon because that shit has been done to death.

Who would you like to see bring in the next era of Raw?

Quite honestly I think perhaps we should have someone that worked like an authority figure before, or some kind of manager, a guy that could really work the mic certainly, and who could seem legit as a general manager, I've read alot about people thought JBL would be a great choice for a GM.

You mention some of the commentators, sure its a choice, but quite honestly I would have to say I fail to see how JR would fit properly into a GM position, but thats the "seem legit" part of it that fails there if you ask me.
But a guy like Jerry lawler could be awesome, all thou if he was left unscripted we'd see way too many Diva matches ;)

If WWE could get Bret Hart to stick around for a longer period than just till Wrestlemania 26, then I quite honestly think he's the best choice that comes to mind right now. Either that or letting Vince work as a GM? it would bring back something we recognize, something we've seen before to a certain degree, but it would be a change if you ask me, then turn Vince full blooded heel again, and not try to seem face then diss a city thinking he's funny.. turn him into the bad guy we saw in the late 90's and let him rule raw again.

Either that, or perhaps wwe should try and bring one of the legends that tour as agents with wwe.. they could aswell function as a general manager quite nicely if you ask me, just need the right one, but I'm sure WWE has someone with good mic skills and authority figurism wandering around in the back.
