No Surrender - Madison Rayne v. Velvet Sky

It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
8.jpg

Grudge match set up over weeks of feuding that saw Tara revealed as Rayne's bodyguard.

Keep all discussion here.

Madison Rayne has been looking absolutely dominant since she won the Knocked-Up Championship. Well that is until Angelina Love came gunning for her looking like SheSuperCena. One can only hope that Rayne loses here so she doesn't have a reason to challenge Love for the title.

The Best's Best Possible Outcome
Sky beats Rayne and we start seeing other Knockouts on tv.

Believe it or not this will be Velvet's 1st singles match on PPV.

I feel that Velvet needs to go over here. She actually needs this win more than Madison does right now.

Velvet deserves the nod here, but I can't see Tara not playing a part in the match at some point. She was revealed on iMPACT! as Rayne's bodyguard, and I'd imagine she helps Rayne steal a victory to continue the feud between The Beautiful People and Tara/Rayne.

I believe Madison will get the Dub, I'm actually a fan of this whole angle between the knockouts, its not as prolong as the 'they' and 'deception' storyline, and not all brawl based as the EV2.0, Fortune storyline.

Well seeing TNA probably realized Love/Rayne for the 100th time probably wouldn't be too good of an idea, they went for Velvet/Rayne. This one has been brewing for a while now, so im fine with this match being on PPV. They will definitely look damn good, but can they put on a solid wrestling match? That remains to be seen.

They probably cannot put on a solid wrestling match, but let's face it, who really cares? The Knockouts have degraded to nothing more than eye candy, ina diva-esque sort of way, and with Sky versus Rayne (with Love and Tara at ringside), they appear to have the eye candy thing covered. I hope for a really long and slow entrance from Velvet Sky, a victory for her, and a sultry celebration in the ring afterwards.

Beyond that, nothing else really matters here.

I think Velvet will look really bad if she was to lose her very first singles match on PPV. Also I can't remember the last time she's even had a win, so Velvet definitely needs this victory to prove that she can hold her own.

This will probably be a quick match with Madison Rayne coming out on top due to interference from Tara. I'm not expecting much out of this, but at least with Tara added to the mix it is more interesting then just having the same Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love match.

Pointless. Filler. Trash. Those are the words that come to mind when thinking of this match. The Knockout's Division has been nothing more than a variation of BP feuds over what seems like the last year or so. Just not that interesting anymore, even with the whole Tara angle.

Madison to win, I guess. Who really cares though?

To me Madison has been improving and her spell as champ was betteer than I expected. Velvet has yet to shine in singles and in a PPV may be over stretched.

I'm a fan of Madison and think she has potential to improve and is probably already the better in ring performer. But as the old TBP are being pushed by TNA I am expecting TNA a Velvet victory, possibly with help from Love.

Hopefully this match will draw a line under this storyline and allow other far mare talented KOs to move forward. Ideally not at Madison's expense, but I still see this as the outcome.

I don't see this one ending with a clean pinfall victory on either side. Tara and Angelina will most likely interfere here, and a brawl will probably erupt to end this. This match will probably set up some type of tag team match at Bound For Glory. Yeah, so I'm not excited for this one at all. The Knockouts division is mainly about Beautiful People Drama now, and everyone else just seems to be there.

Well I'm glad Velvet picked up the victory. She really needed that win and it's a shame that this will be her first singles win in TNA after being there for 3 years. I feel that TNA has booked Velvet really badly for those years.

I also feel that Velvet should not have been dominated that much by Madison in the match. Because IMO Madison isn't that great in the ring as others try to make her out to be.

Though the match was nothing special it wasn't horrible and it was watchable. Like I said glad that Velvet won but with TNA's wacky booking who knows where she goes from here.
