No Punishment For AJ

On the main page, there's an article updating the whole AJ Le/Michelle Beadle incident. The article says that AJ won't be punished over the incident after further consideration from WWE officials after speaking with AJ & Punk afterward.

Based on info that's come out over the course of this week, it seems like the whole incident was just a simple misunderstanding. AJ thought Beadle was making a disrespectful comment to her real life boyfriend and took issue with it, not knowing that Punk & Beadle have been friends for over a decade now. While AJ overreacted before finding out what's what, it's understandable. If someone I didn't know called my gf a cunt, or something along those lines, I'd be up in their faces about it too. Also, let's be honest, taking out AJ as a force in the Divas Division would be pretty costly right now because she's easily the most over Diva the company has had in a LONG time.

I'm also thinking that Punk's standing in the company may have something to do with the decision not to punish AJ. Punk's current WWE deal, if I remember correctly, expires in either June or July 2014 and I'm pretty sure the WWE brass want him happy so he'll re-sign.

Im just going to be the first to say AJ definitely deserves some punishment , a nice spanking would be appropriate and I would be happy to administer it

But to the actual issue I dont why you made this a thread you said it yourself its open and closed not real issue

I'm thinking the original "report" was incredibly overblown by dirt sheets (like 99% of "backstage reports). I mean, even Ms. Beadle tweeted that it was pretty much nothing, and that she found it humorous.

So, a non-event begot a non-reaction. That's not really surprising.

I think her punishment will be she loses the title at the Rumble or the Chamber ppvs. Then her not being booked on Mania. This was she loses a big payday that will be likely more money lost than if the got fined or flat out suspended but still worked on Mania. I also believe the next champ is not on the roster right now. Whether it be a Paige or Emma getting called up and taking it. A dark horse i'd like to see be the next champ is either Beth Phoenix, whom was mentioned on SD as the longest reigning Divas champ. Or Michelle McTaker (McCool), first Divas champ and if this is takers last Mania she could be on the road with him during the January through Mania.

I think the legacy stars that come back for Mania should at least work a schedule like what the Rock, Jericho and RVD did this year. At least 1/2 the Raws and work a few matches in that time too like Rock did at the RR and EC before dropping the belt to Cena and leaving
