WWE has just released the following as the poster for this year's No Mercy PPV:



Randy Orton is currently feuding with John Cena but is rumoured to be feuding with Triple H in the near future. In this picture, he hasn't got the WWE Title with him so that might suggest Cena retains/regains the title by then. Please dicuss;

Just becuase they didnt put the title on Orton in the picture doesnt mean he wont be champion as he can still very well be the champion. it could just show that he will have no Mercy as that match could be like a "last chance" match with him and Cena...

That poster is kind of...disturbing. It also reminds me of Ozzy Osbourne.

Regardless, I would think this means Orton is going to play a huge part in No Mercy, I'd assume this was after he won the title and established himself as the champion. Either that, or by the way the poster looks, he's going to do something bad to Cena.

But no matter what, this just leads to further speculation on my and probably a lot of others that Orton will most definitely get the title very, very soon.

I agree with AJ. He still can be champ and the feud with Cena will probaly carry on here maybe in some gimmick match. HHH/Orton will more than likely be after a 2-3 month feud between these two. Actually a nice looking poster.

They've also changed the logo, similar to the one they had before. With Orton (probably) taking the title off Cena at SummerSlam, it's pretty likely than an actual PPV poster with a wrestler in, appears on the card. Which would be a miracle.

I like it. It's pretty cool. WWE posters have been a lot better this year. There using far more imagination. The poster tells you nothing either which I like. Orton prolly wont even be at the event, the dove is destined for main event stardome though.

Well, following the actual trend, it could be just another promo poster and thats it. Like jake said, he maybe wont be at the event....
Remember Kane on JD poster? everybody were sure that Kane was in a match or something, and nothing happened.
But this time, I'll go with Orton vs a super baby face.....(the dove..?) Mr Kennedy finally turns face perhaps? I've been checking Ticketmaster to see info on the house shows cards, and I saw Kennedy in the majority...BTW, NO Cena!!!, and just a few has Triple H.....again, this means nothing.

Damn that is probably the sickest lookin WWE poster I've seen in a while. It gives me that kind of last hope feeling with the dove there. Orton's face is sinister to say the least

yea thats honestly one sweet ass poster, and who else could give that sinister look for it other than orton, i dunno you guys all bring up good points, does this mean he will be champion soon? or do something bad to cena? but im pretty sure he will be a major part for the event.

Very nice looking poster. The Cena era is nearly over. I think this bad Orton thing is working, and with what he did to Cena's dad I think Unforgiven will be where Orton takes the title. Cena will let his raw passion and emotion take over and lose focus... Just a thought.

Sweet poster. Best looking ppv poster in a long time. I marked out like crazy when cetard's father got kicked in the head.... hope to god that Orton wins the title at unforgiven and the cetard era is over.

Triple h was the new wwe champ at no mercy just for 2 hours and half.Then orton wins it.
